I often use the key combination Ctrl+Alt+X in Google Docs when on different devices but it doesn't function properly when instead it brings up the AI sidebar gadget. Removing the sidebar button doesn't really help and it's annoying. So how exactly do I turn off the key combination for the sidebar?

Version 148 is very slow. When there are 5-10 downloads, other websites won't open. That's why I use version 140. And why are there so many files in the folder - ....profile\storage\permanent\chrome

 I have Firefox 140.0 on Windows 11 23H2.  I just noticed that the Favorites Sidebar text and background are both dark.  The History Sidebar does not have this problem.  Changing either Firefox or Windows color scheme has no effect.  I'm pretty sure this happened with the latest update.

All of a sudden, the text in my Bookmarks bar has turned black making it unreadable on the black background. Any idea why this happened and how I may revert the text back to white? Thank you for your help.

Recently I have been unable to go to websites where I have had accounts for years. I can no longer access sites like Chewy, Etsy, and even Pinterst. On the latest failure to sign in to Etsy the message I got is "Please enable JS and disable any ad blocker" I don't want to learn another browser. Please understand I'm a senior so not as savy as you young folks. My Firefox browser is 140.0 so it is up to date

Why did Wikipedia suddenly appear in the address bar at the top and when I try to put in address it goes to Wiki on them not the website. The search bar in the middle that was Google is now Wikipedia. How do I get rid of it and go back to how it was before?

What is the problem?

When I click on NY Times link, I get this message: You have been blocked from The New York Times because we suspect that you're a robot. I'm just an old guy with a low tolerance level for tech glitches. Any help greatly appreciated!

I called NYT Support, which tells me it must be a Firefox issue since I can open in Chrome, Safari. I thought it might because I have the Enhanced Tracking Protection box checked, but unchecking does nothing.

Out of ideas.

YouTube videos encoded at 60 frames per second are extremely choppy in Firefox only. Microsoft Edge plays the same videos perfectly.

I have deleted my profile and reinstalled Firefox, updated graphics driver to the latest version, and toggled hardware acceleration on and off. Nothing helps.

Title, i really don't want that small icon on every new tab. You can move it in toolbar customization , but you can't remove it completely. It loads automatically when opening any tab at all , so i see it for a split second. It really bugs me.

Lately I installed a new PC, and tried to download FireFox and sync my data. But my data seems like a few years ago, not as new as another PC I have now. I'm sure I have logged in with same account on them, how's this happend?

Since the last update its a mess. My advisors are telling me its loading slow I cannot connect with them in their chat............Chrome is fine
