I am running Firefox on Linux. Desktop environment is KDE. Compositor is Wayland. I have a 11th Gen Intel Tiger lake Core i3 with integrated Intel UHD Graphics GPU. I do not have a eGPU or any other GPU apart from the integrated Intel UHD Graphics GPU. Intel drivers are installed and are being used. Please see the details given below from about:support for more details. What I have observed that Hardware acceleration, specifically WEBRENDER_COMPOSITOR, WEBRENDER_SHADER_CACHE and WEBRENDER_DCOMP_PRESENT are disabled. The details are given below.

I have enabled the force hardware acceleration too by setting the property media.hardware-video-decoding.force-enabled to true. But still the above three hardware acceleration are still not available.

How can I get these enabled?

I need to recover a `.jsonlz4` file to restore a Firefox session with 8 active instances, as the "Restore Session" feature only opened 5 due to the `browser.sessionstore.max_windows_undo` setting being capped at 5, and the full original `.jsonlz4` file is now missing.

In the`firefox/Crash Reports` directory, there are numerous files I can’t interpret, can I retrieve my session data via telemetry or other methods using this crash information. I’m using Linux Mint with Flatpak Firefox, and I also have crash logs containing a "last crash" text file and a string of numbers, could these be useful for getting back my session?

Instead of syncing my current settings, sync just overwrote them with an old, outdated copy from another device, completely ruining my addons, bookmarks and various other settings. I managed to restore the bookmarks, but is there really no proper way to undo this or prevent such thing from happening in the first place? Is there no way to control if I want to sync my setting TO the server or FROM the server? How such a vital decision is even made then and why wouldn't there be a way for a user to control that? This is so disappointing :(

Hello, I just wiped windows and lost my bookmarks, passwords, and the like. I looked into the support options, as well Firefox profiles (about:profiles) but can't seem to get that data back. It's odd to me that it didn't sync because I also wiped windows last month and it recovered all of my data as soon as I signed into my Firefox account,so I was hoping that would happen again.

Any way to get this back?

There are times that I use the screenshot tool on X.com and the filename it saves to is WAY too long. Sometimes it tries to use the entire content of the post as the filename. I see this effect in the title bar as well. Is there a way to change it so it only uses a date/timestamp and nothing else? Attached is an example of this extremely long naming. When using the new version of Firefox, I found that bookmarks only appeared in new tabs. Once I opened other web pages, there were no bookmarks above the screen, which made me feel inconvenient. Previously, the new tabs could also be customized, but now they can only be blank or the default pages of Firefox. So, can the new version of Firefox solve these problems? Or which of the older versions of Firefox can still meet my requirements?

I'm looking for help in transferring everything from Firefox to Chrome. If anyone knows how, because Google isn't being the best help at the moment. I have a Chromebook, so it's been tough trying to download Firefox. I'm looking for a way to move what I need onto the laptop without having to start from scratch and do things one by one, which is too many things. If anyone knows how, please don't hesitate to answer.

Okay, i have been using librewolf for awhile now since i got my desktop fully built. today i went to go search something related to my phone and instead of using duckduckgo it automatically used Google. i do not want this and have no idea how to fix it

I can't figure out how to add a custom search shortcut, is this no longer possible in Firefox (without installing addons/extensions)?

I recall 'custom search' being more or less ubiquitous, and feel like there was an "Add" button below the Search Shortcuts UI not that long ago.

Bookmarks with keywords would be a reasonable workaround if it weren't for having to prefix the keyword to the search terms.

Hi Yesterday I replaced my computer. I'm trying to sync my account data, but unfortunately, nothing is syncing. I have all the data selected for syncing (bookmarks, history, etc.), and the logs in about:sync-log are empty. It looks like the data from your server has been cleared. Firefox is freshly installed. Please help.

Simply put, I continue to get a message window telling me to update Firefox. I continue to get a response saying I need Windows 10 or later installed. I am running Windows 11 Home on my PC. Multiple attempts to get a reply on this from Mozilla Support. No replies.

Dear Anyone.

Trying to download Tampermonkey for Firefox. I'm NOT very good at computers, be nice! Every time I click on the "Add Tampermonkey to Firefox" button, I get "You are not online. Please check your internet connection." and it won't download it.

I AM on the Internet, tried it just now before coming here and it still won't believe I'm online. Everything else does. Why won't Tampermonkey?
