For days I have been seeing Firefox be very slow to load a page (as in minutes) or stop working entirely. At the same time Chrome works fine. Mac Mail has become intermittent as well. I have uninstalled Norton products and changed Network proxy settings many times. Nothing helps. I have created new profiles. I switch between profiles. I have hacked into my WiFi router. Nothing, nothing helps. Safari hangs up too. Firefox on my android phone continues to work properly when using my Wifi router -the same router my Mac Studio connects to the internet with. I can access my third party mail service via Firefox on my android phone. Both FireTV devices work. I am at my wit's end. At this point I have shifted all of my work over to Chrome.

I have cleared caches. I have gotten rid of all cookies. I have restarted Firefox and rebooted my computer countless times.

Mac OS Sequoia 15.5 Firefox 138.04

I discovered that I cannot sync with my google account protected from 2FA.

In detail:

1. Numbered list item showing something went wrong page when I am trying to login from (about:preferences#sync);
2. Numbered list item Login successful with another account not protected by 2FA

Note that:

1. Numbered list item cookie allowed;
2. Numbered list item using newest version;
3. Numbered list item protection set to standard;
4. Numbered list item tried to reinstall firefox

but none of them are successful.

I have also confirm that:

1. Numbered list item the account is able to sign in from other platform from mozilla(it's the account I'm using now)
2. Numbered list item there's no (significant) error logged from the F12 console

I have read ALL of the help comments of all of the people who posted basically the same thing on Microsoft Community Forum that I could find - and can't find an answer.

I have: Two Laptops - Windows 10 and 11 Use Outlook Live (Hotmail) via Firefox

All Firefox browsers are UP TO DATE - and I have checked all the settings I can find - including about: config on Firefox itself - for some reason Pictures from senders - Yes - those I trust - do NOT show - I checked on Chrome and no problem, Edge no Problem - pictures show on BOTH those browsers - However - I prefer USING FIrefox (I don't like Chrome and only use it if I have to track emails and use THOSE features etc.)- I disabled ANY AD Blockers I have. As for Virus Protection - On Windows 11 I have UltraAV on the Windows 10 just Microsoft Defender - This just started happening.

I DO NOT get any kind of placeholder or a red X or any text saying anything - Just NO pix show in my Inbox.

This DOES NOT happen with the Outlook App on my Android or it seems anywhere else.

Can anyone help me?

Hello everyone, As possible in previous Firefox releases I like that clicking on a .mdb file (msaccess) Firefox starts automatically Microsoft Access rather than asking where to save the .mdb file.

This problem only occurs in my Hotmail email account at outlook.live.com using Firefox in the last few weeks.

I typed exactly the same including spaces in both Chrome and Firefox. First 2 lines typed in Chrome, saved the draft, last 2 lines typed in Firefox but in Firefox the nonsense occurs. Amazingly the 2 lines typed using Chrome still display well in Firefox. Firefox adds the extra number in the fractions in the space I had typed! How can I get Firefox to work well at outlook.live.com?

This has only happened in the last few weeks, during all those updates. Am on 138.0.4 Are any of these updates buggy?

I've created a document with a three line header on the top of each page. I use overlay to break each line into three parts - left, center, and right. It almost working as intended except that after the first page on the first of the three lines the center and left part are missing. I have been able to determine that those parts are being overlaid on the first page. There are reasons why I chose this method instead of using a table. I'd be happy to send the HTML code used. Strange thing is I get the same results on other browsers. I use the same technique for all three lines and the other two lines come out as expected.

Here is something I have never ran into, for some reason suddenly today, I am only able to load about half the websites I try to load. A blank page loads that says "Hmm we're having trouble finding that site". But the tab says "Server not found". Again it's only some pages that won't load.

It does not matter if I click the bookmark, or type in the address,it's always the same pages every time. I tried 19 sites, (10 bookmarks, and 9 typed), plus typing in some of the bookmarks also.

If I change over to Chrome, or any other browser those pages will load. If I use Firefox Mobile, those pages load. Something has gotten messed up in my PC settings, or something.

I have tried clearing the cache, the history, and the cookies, no luck. I restarted into safe mode, and had the same problem.

It's been forever since I had any problems with FIrefox, and must admit I have forgotten most of the troubleshooting tips, that I used to know. But I did remember those, unfortunately none of those are the problem.

What else can I try? Thanks in advance.

BTW: I am submitting this on my phone because this is one site that won't load. If it did I would, I would click the "Share Data" button.

Hi there! I am using Mozilla Firefox Browser (v. 138.0.4 as of today) time to time. Once I open the app my front camera starts glitching - white led indicator turns on and then always on, even when I push power button of the device, Windows Hello doesn't work, Zoom/Skype doesn't allow me use camera (saying that it is in use). The only way to fix the glitch - reboot the device (Windows). Then it works again smoothly, including Edge browser and all other apps, until I start specifically Firefox next time. So, something is wrong with the soft, not with the device. Hope someone can resolve the issue...

Hello. I have noticed the following problem with your browser: at some point, if you have several resource-consuming tabs open (this is a subjective assessment, I have not tested it), almost all the buttons in the browser stop working, namely the tab close button, the extension button, etc., but you can still close them using hotkeys. This problem goes away when you restart the browser.

I should say that this problem appeared not so long ago, about 1-2 weeks ago, when I updated Fedora 40 --> Fedora 42.

Please tell me where the problem might be.

So far I have tried to uninstall firefox and re-install it. I have cleared my cache and cookies several times and just today I clicked on the little shield in the search bar and turned off the toggle for enhanced tracking. I don't know what else to do. Any suggestions???? Please?????

Anything using WebGL in-browser tells me that my browser doesn't support it.

https://get.webgl.org/ says "Hmm. While your browser seems to support WebGL, it is disabled or unavailable. If possible, please ensure that you are running the latest drivers for your video card." but I updated it to the most recent drivers and the issue is still happening. Graphics card is an AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT.

After I upgraded to v137 and now on v138 I do not have the new search enhancements made to the address bar. Only a new profile will get me the enhancements. I'd rather not have to create a new profile and add all my changes and add-ons all over again. It's a real PITA. Is there any 'trick' I can try to get the new enhancements?

I have been using Firefox in Ubuntu for many years.And I use Royalmail a lot to send parcels and I always use their tracking without any problem.Until about 2 months ago when tracking became impossible.I can do anything else on their website without any problem.In Firefox settings on Privacy I always use private mode and I could still track my parcels.Now I can't.Even untick private mode does not make any difference. I tried Royalmail tracking on my mobile chrome and it works but does not work on Firefox.I have use Firefox for years and I thought there was something wrong with Royalmail tracking until I tried it on Chrome.Then it must be a Firefox problem. I would like to be able to open the bookmarks menu to a specific folder programmatically from an html page. This could be something similar to the <a> tag with the html="url" being replaced by an appropriate command that opens the bookmarks menu instead of being a link to a web page. The command would include a path something like: "Other Bookmarks"->"System"->"Arduino"->"ARM" and the menu would actually drop down showing the path and the contents of the last folder listed. Everyone wants that, right?

When I try to log in to my emails I get a message saying Network Protocol Error. Firefox has experienced a network protocol violation that cannot be repaired. I cannot get into my emails. How do I solve this problem?

In your extensions, Nord VPN shows in grey and not in blue, when I click on the logo, all I get is an advert picture. How can I download Nord VPN and reinstall the app on my PC? I can't add an image as the advert page disappears when I try to take a screenshot.
