I am having a problem saving my work through a portal I am using for work on Firefox.

While trying to fix this problem, I went to Firefox Settings and noticed the following hyperlinked text: "Your browser is being managed by your organization." This is my personal computer, so I don't know what organization it may be referring to.

Clicking on it brings me to a new tab called "Enterprise Policies". In that tab is a list called "Active" with two columns: Policy Name and Policy Value. The only item listed is "DisableAppUpdate" with the value "true". This may be the cause of my original problem, but in any case, I want to be able to run updates!

I am using Firefox 137.0.1 (64-bit) on a Pop_OS system.

How do I turn off "DisableAppUpdate" and run updates?

     my screen either freezes w the display or turns black.  In both cases, my mouse and keyboard
     won't work.  Thus, i have to re-boot to fix.  Even Control-Alternate-Delete won't work to get out

    Hey, either one of those two buttons won't stop blocking my top RH corner of the screen.  It's rediculous.
    Even after i hit <Download>, the same pop-up shows up again n again.  Same w <Dismiss>.

    Just remind me once per week.  And don't crash my PC!!!

4. There is no 'Community' info on this annoying update pop-up problem. Just stop it!

I was trying to go to ssa.gov, today, and hit the button to login. When I did that, I got a 400 page saying: Bad Request

Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand. Size of a request header field exceeds server limit.

I have done this before, and it worked. To test if it was a problem with the web page or the browser, I did it from another browser (Brave), and it loaded fine. Is Firefox sending a bad request? Is this something you can fix.

I am using Mozilla Firefox for Linux Mint 137.0.1 (64 bit).

Ok for some reason any of my browsers tabs are crashing I just do whatever it is whether i search or watch movie and after some time 'Gah! your tab crashed' and it's pretty annoying, my discord happens to restart it self and I've exhausted literally anything from re-installing, deleting caches folders absolutely anything.

i share my computer and when someone else uses the browser they see the last page I used. Emails open and they can see my private emails. how do I stop this without erasing history everytime I use it

I'm attempting to set up Firefox in a newly installed OS and have logged into my Sync account. Many aspects seem to be loaded in, but the status via the Settings is stuck at "Syncing..." despite waiting several hours. Quitting Firefox results in a crash window popping up.

There are no files in the weave/logs directory. The weave/failed directory has multiple json files; most almost completely empty. addons.json has an ID, but that's pretty much it.

Deleting the .mozilla directory and starting over yielded no change in behavior.

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

When I put my laptop to sleep, websites I am logged into are often logged out when I return. Note that I don't close Firefox. The tabs generally reopen but require login again. Windows 11, Firefox 137.0.1

For example, I put my laptop to sleep for lunch. When I returned, tabs were there, but I was logged out of gmail, Discord, and a website I was logged into.

This seems to happen more frequently recently, but not every time, as far as I know. But this is a relatively new problem, possibly related to a new laptop. Occasionally I get a message that there is trouble restoring my session.

Since the last update, I believe, because this error occurs constantly and with EVERY video. This is often, not always, the case immediately after updating FF. Now it was fine for a while, but now it's so bad that I'm having trouble watching YT videos properly. Reason: Browser open, logged in to YT. I click on a video to play - video opens, plays maybe 10 to 20 seconds, then playback stops spinning top, I also found out during the last glitch after update that if I switch the resolution briefly, higher or lower doesn't matter - important is to leave the current resolution and switch to another one. And oh wonder - immediately, instantly with the change, the video starts playing. If I wait for this - without doing anything myself, it sometimes takes 30 - 40 seconds for the video to start ... sometimes it just "hangs" ... This is extremely annoying - if it doesn't work, I have to switch browsers... What is also extremely annoying is that it occurs almost regularly after an update ... until the next one possibly, for unknown reasons, does not fix the error, but sometimes mitigates it. Now, however, the disruption/interruption is so massive and totally annoying that I'm thinking of switching. I'm just tired of it ...

I have accounts that will not work because they cannot access my location, My computer says all access is allowed, so is there something in Firefox that blocks my location?

Hello there！ I recently updated Firefox to 137.0.1. But the update doesn't automatically display the status bar when you hover over the bottom of the page. I had to resize Firefox to make it full screen to display the status bar properly. This makes it difficult for me to use Firefox. I'm pretty sure this is due to a version update. This problem occurred after I updated the Firefox browser, during which time my Windows system was not updated. Is there any solution? Or how can I download a previous version of the browser?

I am receiving pop-ups from what appears to be Mozilla Firefox saying: System is infected! Viruses detected, Turn on protection and delete viruses. The virus identified is ZEUS.2020 Trojan. Click here to scan and clean via: d3av3500fes73a78mk0.mosgdefender.com This link doesn't work. So, how can I get this issue resolved? Any help would be appreciated. I've freshly reinstalled Windows 11 and after trying to access and watch a movie on any of these sites I get an error (see the pictures).

Browser version: 137.0.1 (64 bit) Widevine version: 4.10.2891.0

Already tried to disable/enable DRM. Already reinstalled firefox. Already manually installed widevine. No clue what could be causing this issue.

Seems I've noticed an issue with playing of YouTube videos the last few days. It seems that either the video(s) is slower to load and/or is slower to play. While it's not terribly slower in human time it's slower than normal in computer time. I'm not having this problem in Chrome. Cookies and cache are cleaned multiple times a day. So, I'm a little stumped as to why I'm having this issue. Any comments would be appreciated. Thanks

Even in the notification setting found under privacy and security there are no sites listed, however, I am continuing to get banner notifications even after uninstalling the browser.

When I creat a new bookmarks they are not automatically put in alphabetical order but instead are placed in the ned. Why not put them in order when they are made? Anyway, I tried to use the option that allows me to sort bookmarks alphabetically but nothing happens. This used to work but not now. I am using 137.0.1 (aarch64)
