I was able to open all attachment that came with my Yahoo mail. Since this morning I can not open any attachments-word, excel or PDF What happened? How do I go back to be able to open all attachments

I used to be able to open a new tab and have it open to my standard home page. Now the only options are blank or the firefox page for a new tab. WHY??? I want to see my home page when I open a new tab.

I have a 2nd identical "other" folder located in the "other" folder. They are somehow linked to each other, so that if I try to delete a bookmark under the 2nd duplicate one, it deletes it from both. If I select something in one folder and then click on the second one that selected item shows under the second as well. I don't want two folders but cannot delete or change anything or it deletes the original as well. Other than restoring an old bookmark backup to replace this defective one does anyone have any solution to fixing this? Thanks Cheers

I recently switched from windows to Linux, and was using it for 3 months now. It was due to window recall Feature. But still i was using chrome as default and daily browser. I wanted to explore firefox, its great actually, except 2 things which might need me to switch back to chrome or brave.

1. it don't have fu**king Profile switch, I mean i use 11 Profiles On Chrome, most people still use 2-4 profiles, how can we move to a browser that dont support profiles. I know we can add profiles by "about:Profiles" I tried it. It worked but guess what? To switch profile i have to manually go to that page to launch it. So much time consuming and frustrating. Why not simply add a btn on profile pic like chrome to switch profiles?

2. Add-ons is good thing, but there should be a way to install things from chrome web store, i not found any.

If firefox can fix these two things firefox can simply grow back to 30+ % market share, but if not people will just test l;like me and go.

I've been banging my head against a wall trying to figure this one out. Every time a video plays on youtube, reddit, etc it will show normal colors for a split second then it will darken it and wash out the colors. Not sure what is causing this.

Things I've tried: gfx.color_management.native_srgb to true in about:config Changing video settings in nvidia control panel Turning off hardware acceleration Restarting browser and PC Updating browser and video drivers, windows as well Turning off all extensions Trying with codecs both deactivated and reactivated

No other browser does this and ALSO when I run firefox in private mode it doesn't happen and videos run normally. Also when I try to record or take a screenshot of it it looks normal. Thank you for any assistance.

When I go to Settings > Privacy & Security the only "autofill" setting is to import data from another browser. I am signed in, in the US, and my VPN is set to Seattle.

There should be a feature where you can copy the link to particular text on a webpage (much like when you click on a Google result for a certain part of an article). Where do I suggest features for Firefox?

We have a W10 workgroup using an unmanaged switch to hook 5 PC's together through hardwire ethernet. The switch is also the access point to the internet "modem".

I would like to cause the PCs to use wifi to access the modem ONLY for internet and Thunderbird, with the workgroup remaining on the wired system.

With both "networks" enabled in W10 the PCs are automatically defaulting to whichever method was enabled 1st. I have no idea how or if I can "split" the flow and cause FF and Tbird ONLY to use wifi.

Recently installed a "cleaner" app called PrivaZer. Ran the app and rebooted as part of the process which also included creating a restore point. Once system rebooted and logged in, pinned tabs were gone?! Using the created restore point did NOT restore the pinned tabs. Is there a way to recover the pinned tabs? Thanks in advance. FRANK

I'm using Firefox 126.0.1 (64-bit) in Windows 11. I needed to download two files named index.html (in different source directories) from my company's content management system. Both got downloaded as index.htm. They were the right files... only the extension was changed.

I spoke to the person who maintains the content management system. They tested it and said it's not doing that, must be the browser.

That sounds fantastic to me, but I looked through the support messages here and found several about files whose extensions were changed on download; for example from .loa to .mp3. No explanations or workarounds, though.

Can anyone shed light on this?

I'm a web developer working for the public radio show This American Life. We have a web audio player on the website and recently I noticed it stopped working in Firefox. Looking closer at the issue, I realized that Enhanced Tracking Protection is blocking one of the scripts (pdst.fm - Spotify). Because ETP is turned on by default, I'm hoping there's a way to help bring this part of the site back to functioning without bypassing the Spotify script, as currently that's out of my power. Any help would be appreciated.

My computer was on during the week-end and when I came back home I noticed we had a couple of power outages. Computer restarted automatically (Win 10 22h2) and when I launched Firefox, it started as brand new with all my addons gone and none of the previous session restored (I had 4 Firefox browsers opened with each 20+ tabs opened).

I have tried looking at C:\Users\MYUSER\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles but found nothing of interest. Where is everything and how can I restore everything I had ?

I even tried Troubleshooting mode and downgrading to a former version of Firefox (126.0.1 64 bits).

Dear Sir, we are unable to get plugin JAVA TM PLATFORM SE8U341 for running digital key. i have requisite software installed in my system. Please guide. I have attached screenshot regarding the same.

All of a sudden my web address bar at the top of the screen disappears when I open a web address and I have to push my mouse to the top of the screen to make it appear? Didn't used to do this.

Im using Ubuntu 22.04 LTS Intel cpu I7 9th gen NVIDIA gpu but i disabled it My problem is that the Picture in Picture mode isnt sticky if i press anything it vanishes from view.

After the last FF update, I can only connect to FF ... no other website! I did a system restore to an earlier date which seemed to make it worse. Absolutely zero content appears on any website I choose to go to. The tab shows the name of the website, however it doesn't "connect."

Please help me rectify this challenge. Thank you.

For about 24hr now, every time I clear cookies and cache data, 20kB remain. I clear this data often, and the cookie and cache data always registers "0kB" after I click on "Clear Data", until yesterday. My OS is Ubuntu 22.04. Where can I find that file so I can delete it?

This error started a few days ago. I tried to do a system restore but that failed and now I can't find the restore point that I was using just yesterday. It only happens in FireFox, edge and chrome seem to work ok
