Hi, I have a problem with Youtube playback on my machine. Sometimes videos are playing and skipping few seconds, sometimes stopping/hanging and using a lot of CPU (I can hear CPU fan ramping up). It mostly happens when I play videos at 1080p and up. Sometimes video can start playing, then skip few seconds, play few more seconds and hang, sometimes after refresh it works fine, another time it works for like a minute and then again hangs/skips. I had this problem on FF 89, I've updated to 11x, still persisted, now I have FF 125.0.3 (64 bit). Things that i've tried: - enabling/disabling hardware acceleration in FF - enabling/disabling gpu hardware acceleration in Windows - changing some settings in about:config (fe. media.wmf.zero-copy-nv12-texture to false and gfx.direct3d11.reuse-decoder-device to false, and few more) - disabling and deleting addons

PC specs: AMD Ryzen 7 5800X, Asus Tuf X570, GeForce RTX 3070 (latest drivers), Windows 10 22H2

I have recently tried to use Firefox View button in order to quickly open pages that I have opened on my Android device, however I found that only some (random) portion of the tabs appear in the Firefox View under [tabs from other devices/my android device].

Is there any way I can change that behaviour? This is renedring the Firefox View kind of pointless, as I still have to open my phone to check whether there was maybe one more important page that I wanted to check out, that was not listed in the Firefox View on my PC. At that point, I could very well just see what were I at, on the android device, and just google stuff again. The mixed approch (some opened via Firefox View and some manually) is more time consuming than either of the approaches alone, so I would really appreciate help, as Firefox View seemed to be a time-saver - I believe I have something set erroneously somwhere. The animated images of the articles are loaded once every 3. On Chrome Android I have no problem.

I solve it manually by resizing the page, so they load.

Where could the problem be? In the animation of their site? Do you have any advice on a fix?

For System Administrative reasons, I want to disable automatic Firefox updates. Firefox can ask me if I want to install an update, but I get to choose whether or not to update.

I am migrating to a new laptop. The new laptop keeps asking me for a primary password. I have never set one up. This issue doesn't happen on the old machine, only the new one. It also won't let me disable the pop-up that asks for the primary password. Please advise.

Hi, So I'm on Facebook. A friend has a new post. The post is all squished together, almost on top of the other line. I have looked over my settings to see if there is a way to alter the spacing but to no avail. I now realized why I stopped using Firefox a little while back and this is the main reason. If I can't read posts on social media apps on my computer browser what's the use?

Suggestions and fixes MOST welcome before I throw my hands up again. Edge is messed up in other ways as is Opera so I'd really love to have just ONE browser that I can depend on. Considering I used to be a HUGE fan of FF back in the day before the entire code was rewritten I'd love to be back in the fold. If this can be resolved I'll stay. For sure.

I am trying to switch from Google to Firefox, but I still use my Google email. I uploaded my contacts from Google to Firefox, but I am trying to edit my own contact info in Gmail contacts, but when I click the edit button, nothing happens. Do I need to edit it in Firefox, and will that edit migrate back to Gmail? Why can't I edit it in my Gmail contacts (in the Gmail right-hand toolbar), and it will update my Firefox contacts automatically?

If you are going to require "A" file type, fucking say what type it has to be and provide a converter or screenshot tool! I Tried .Docx and PDF. Word does not save to PNG or JPEG so they are not an option.

hello firefox support, i recently signed into firefox on desktop but now i cant seem to remeber the account password so after making a new password after clicking on forgot password ,will i lose my bookmarks and ad-ons and all the customized settings? pls help me in this situation i dont want to lose my data pls .

I am trying to connect to a website but I keep getting error code 522. I've tried using Chrome and it connects to the website with no problem. I've checked my privacy settings and I do not have that website blocked. What else can I check?

Why is the text in tab names, address bar and menu boxes so small? I did the changes to about:config and the other one that comes up when I googled this question but, while they enlarge the text in those places, they make the page content too big.

Firefox 126 has changed the tabbar tab background handling and I cannot find a way to get my graphical tab background back for the selected tab. The left image shows FF 125.3; the left 126.0, which installed itself yesterday. In the userchrome for the old Firefox I have:

All of a sudden, Firefox (125.0.3), running on Windows 11, is not delivering any sound at all on websites which have music or people speaking. The TOR browser does deliver the sound on those same websites.

heb.com i can login, but my password manager takes me to

accounts.heb.com, & it gives me the error message. I went to

heb.com, logged in & saved it. When I looked at passwords again it had

accounts.heb.com, & I cant edit that. I don't know if its Firefox or HEB.
