Whenever I use Firefox to access banking or health insurance websites nothing loads properly. I have to use another browser to get the sites to work. These sites always seem to work on Microsoft Edge. Is there a security setting in Firefox that is preventing these secure sites from working? I do use the NoScript and Adblock Plus extentions but if I turn them off and reload the page, it still will not load. Thanks.

My firefox browser freezes completely and stops PC from working. Current remedy is to use another browser having switched off and re-booted PC. Any thoughts as this has started happening frollowing update to version 118

Hello, I accidentally transferred my Google Chrome data to Firefox, and as a result, all my bookmarks, passwords, email addresses, and everything else ended up in Firefox. I do not want this, and I want a fresh installation of Firefox with no bookmarks or saved passwords. Please help me with this.

When i use (and by inference... sign into Mozilla) i have a toolbar with several bookmarks - that are specific to my usage. In a way, you could say they are private to my sessions (not specifically the one i am in, but on a recurring basis) and should not be available to others... When I sign out of Mozilla (either manually or as an optional default for when the browser is closed...) I want the bookmark tabs on the toolbar to also go into storage. -->Is this possible (how?)

How sync'd devices are handled is another discussion For now.... let's address this device as an independent connection.

I've got three Apple iCloud bookmarks on my toolbar - Email Contacts and Calendar - they've stopped displaying as the normal grey Apple and gone back to the dreadful looking wireframe Globe. Fine in Chrome, but not in latest Firefox 118.0.2 - I've doen a quick check of the about:config and found that gfx.downloadable_fonts.enabled is toggled True. Any ideas what else to try?

Firefox will NOT LET ME assign a downloads folder, and doesn't ever ask where to save (though that IS checked). There is NOTHING the support base or community I can find addressing this. It tells you to check "ask" and or to assign a downloads folder. Well, I Have checked "ask" and it doesn't ask. And it will not let me select a downloads folder.

And all downloads "fail." So I cannot use Firefox io download anything.

This is a bug. The settings do not work.

I have updated to latest version, this has been the case thru multiple versions. I am using a M1 Macbook pro with Monterey OS.

I have turned off all extensions, allowed all permissions on the page, changed the Privacy to Standard, turned off enhanced protection, but I still cannot get the popup to show on this page (need login to see actual page)

I cannot find anything else which can be blocking it, but something is.

If I load the page in Edge, it works fine.

i searched for how to bookmark an entire window. google gave me: https://support.mozilla.org/bm/questions/94180 as well as https://support.mozilla.org/eu/questions/1144799 there are probaby many others.

1. both are archived. 2. both are obsolete. Unless I am doing something wrong, in the BOOKMARKS menu there no longer exists "BOOKMARK ALL TABS"

So, why, when an article is archived is it not marked as to what versions of FF it applies? another way to think of this: Why archive a question that WILL ALWAYS BE A RELEVANT QUESTION?

and what is worse: why does searching for "bookmark all tabs" come up empty searching FF help?

Another way: Stop changing FF so much !!!! It is a pain the you-know-what.

And, why does searching for "BOOKMARK ALL TABS" in FF doc come up empty? No wonder the same questions are asked over and over again.

Websites and their pages slow way down when I have Malwarebytes Browser Guard turned on. This only started a couple of months ago, I had no problems before then. Could this be an issue with the Malwarebytes browser guard or a Firefox update? Thanks for any help you can be, Larry

I'm not sure that I can get any help with my problem but I need to try. Always after a format of my PC when I reinstall new windows and log in to my Mozilla account my saved tabs come back with my account. This time it didn't happen. Can I get any data restoration or something like that? I formatted my PC on November 21. Can I somehow get them back from one day before?

In the past 30 days I had these accounts hacked:

3 gmails accounts (all of them the hacker was using Firefox 50)

Microsoft account

Xbox account

Facebook

All my sites (Hostgator blocked my account)

I ran a antiviurs on my PC and cellphone, and nothing was found

Any ideas/suggestions?

Is it safe to have my passowords saved on Firefox?

Directv streaming has been operational since I signed up a few weeks ago until today using FireFox browser except today. After signing into Directv , the channels display correctly but will not open for viewing. Need guidance on the fix.

Recently, Firefox won't open any URL and I have to shut down the program and start again. There is no pattern to which sites freeze and many of them re ones I frequently use.

Why do I have to keep signing into my accounts, such as Google, Facebook and Youtube...plus others each week when I go back to the accounts. New, since November 2022 and the past month, computer and for weeks this doesn't happen, but then each week I have to go through security to get into my account.

Following the advice given on Firefox I switched to storing my messages online. Only AFTER having chosen this switch was I told that I would have lost ALL of my previously stored messages on my computer. Can anyone please tell me how to access those messages previously stored on my computer if that is possible, or at least tell me the address where they would have been stored on my computer. Some help would be much appreciated !

Used firefox for many years on all my computers using OS 7 and 10 but today when I clicked on firefox I got news feeds . I have been trying all day to remove them , I might also add that all others computers with my account on has also got the same news feeds on .

How do I remove them I even tried to restore my windows 10 desk top today to a early date but now that computer wont even boot up .

Will someone please tell me how to remover the news feeds .

When I type the first letter of a certain site, the full site automatically comes up but the old index page is used (www) not the new index page of the site (without www) so the site never comes up. The site is https://www.zeninthezone.com/ I've cleared cache cookies and history to no avail.
