I think I have looked through all of the troubleshooting suggestions for loading / importing old Firefox Bookmarks following a new Windows install.

- I did not have Mozilla Sync turned on. - My new install of Mozilla doesn't have restore points from my old install / program files. - My old SSD is accessible, however, User folder directories don't have the 'AppData/' folder directory. - Of course, I didn't think about / have a chance to create a manual restore point prior to my computer's crash.

Copying over my old Mozilla parent directories from my old SSD directory to my new SSD directory, hasn't restored prior Mozilla settings / bookmarks.

Does Mozilla store bookmarks anywhere else ?

If I want to read a Pocket article, it asks me to sign in to Firefox. When I put in my user name, it does not advance beyond this page: https://accounts.firefox.com/oauth/signin?client_id= . . . I'm guessing that it may be allowing cookies, but it looks like cookies for Firefox and Mozilla are being allowed. Can you assist so I can save a Pocket story?

On my personal laptop, that setting is already enabled. But I never see any stories recommended by pocket when I open a new tab. What can I do about this?

The google search bar on the home page has increased in size and my extensions/add on such as cache cleaner and adblocker do not appear on the toolbar even though they are turned on. I tried refreshing Firefox but that did not solve the problems. Thank you

When logged in to the Shopify Website (admin page) using Firefox browser, attempt to click any link on the page automatically makes the page disappear and re-loops to my Login Page. I've worked with Shopify's Tech team and their investigation suggested...1st-remove cookies and cache on Firefox (did not work), 2nd-they tested their site and came back with no problems, everything works, 3rd-Try using Google Chrome browser to see if I would experience same problem of re-looping to my Login Page, everything works...no-re-looping to my Login Page and every link on the page works. On Shopify's Tech team recommendation as well as my desire to remain with Firefox browser, I need to get this problem of "page disappearing/re-looping to Login Page" on Shopify website fixed. I don't know how to do this. Login - 0b799d.myshopify.com I have reviewed some of the voluminus content on Mozilla Firefox's site and am totally confused with all the jargon/technical nomenclature. Hmm. We’re having trouble finding that site.

Keep getting this on a number of websites. Most of them I have used for years. Can't give the websites as there are too many but some are pitchsidemanager.com, hattrick.org, skysports.com and sportinglife.com . Just four of at least 14 give the Hmm. We’re having trouble finding that site message. I use No Proxy and have my anti-virus turned off when I get the message. I have tried various other proxy settings but the same thing happens. The thing is that I have to keep refreshing the page until it does actually connect and that can take a good few minutes. Sometimes I have to restart the browser. Why is this happening since the last few updates?

Ever since switching to Windows 11 I've had an issue with Firefox. Any time I copy something in Firefox, be it image, article text, or even a url from the address bar, I cannot paste it anywhere, and my copy and paste stops working. The only way to fix it is to close Firefox, and then run rdpclip.exe as an administrator. I've confirmed the issue only occurs if I try copying from Firefox, as it doesn't happen in Edge.

Does anyone know what might be causing this. It's very frustrating.

I have multiple "instances" of all of my bookmarks in my Library--specifically, the Bookmarks Menu, the Folders within that menu and all of the individual bookmarks within each folder. (See attached; I'm just keeping the Bookmark Menu level but trust me, each one of those 5 instances has the exact same list of Folders and associated bookmarks.) I just want to see ONE instance of them in my library, not all of these redundant instances. When I delete ANY bookmark or folder in ANY of the multiple instances, ALL instances of that bookmark or folder get deleted. Searching the forums, I get solutions for combining duplicates, or backup/restoring bookmarks, or "turning off sync." But none of these relate to my issue (e.g., sync has never been on). They don't act like duplicates (where if you delete one the other remains). It acts as if there are multiple "pointers" to the same menu/folder/bookmark.

Can someone please assist with how I can get rid of the redundant instances/listings of the Bookmark Menu, folders and bookmarks without deleting all of them? I'd ideally like to keep the first one, underneath the Bookmarks Toolbar, so it shows up at the top of my screen.

Hello, is there a way to specify search results language and region that differs from the VPN?

Located in USA, but since getting a VPN (Proton) that uses Dutch IP addresses, search results are sometimes shown for Netherlands websites, shown in Dutch, with prices listed in Euros. The Firefox menus still display in English, so it's just the search results.

Tried selecting the following under Settings > Language: 1. Set the 1st & 2nd languages to English. 2. Set the preferred language as English. 3. Installed all the European language translation packages in the hope it would facilitate translation. 4. Viewed Translations to request translation of Dutch, but the UI does not allow adding a language (bug?).

Results continue to intermittently display in Dutch. Tried adding Dutch as the 3rd language, in case it might activate the Translations option, but it did not.

There doesn't seem to be a regions setting, and the Location Permissions dialog does not allow adding websites to the list (bug?).

Any suggestions appreciated.

Yesterday I logged out of my friend's account on their device without selecting the "delete all data" by my mistake, and logged into my own which syncs all my bookmarks across accounts. After logging in for about 4 hours, I signed out, read long enough to select the "delete all data" checkmark, and shutdown their computer.

This evening, I have realized my account has hundreds of bookmarks unrelated to my account. After some confirmation I now know this information is from the laptop I synced from, and all this data was synced in some 5 hours.

Is there a way I can backup my sync data to the morning before this happened? And if I deleted my friends data, can they recover their bookmarks/browser info another way? (they wouldn't have synced to my data since I deleted only mine after I logged out).

Sincerely, a panicked firefox user.

I want to export my chats in Markdown and I don't like how bloated Superpower GPT is, I just need to download chats. I wonder if this has to do with the [relatively new addon domain restrictions feature](https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/addons-restricted-domains). I followed the instructions on that page to set `extensions.webextensions.addons-restricted-domains@mozilla.com.disabled` to `true` in about:config. The addon still doesn't work after restarting Firefox.

The "Digital Advisor" page on vanguards website (after logging in) seems to default to a white background even when in dark mode, resulting in the page being unreadable due to the light gray/off-white text. It seems to only be on the digital advisor page, though. When viewing other accounts or sections, dark mode seems to work correctly.

I use 50+ Add-Ons on Firefox. I would like see all the Add-Ons I gave permission to work in Private Mode, all in one page. Is there a Settings page that shows all Add-On permissions to shown in one place?

So far I've been clicking on each Add-On, one by one. It becomes very tedious to manage them when you have no other choice.
