I usually do the copy and past from other pages to share with WhatsApp, but since yesterday I was unable to paste the links or any articles into WhatsApp Web

Any issues with FireFox with WhatsApp web or sonthing else

I've always been able to copy & paste text from other places to Whatsapp Web in Firefox Desktop computer before. But starting today, it's not working. It only works when I copy & paste text from Whatsapp Web inside but not from other software like MS office or Slack. It's very frustrating! I wonder if it has something to do with the newest Firefox update. Please fix asap!

How can I recover the history that has been deleted from firefox? Already there is an article from 2020 which says to find index.dat file but there is no .dat file that i can find. I am looking for the file in the following location: AppData\Local\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\83ctti6r.default-release\cache2 and that location is the only one with a file named index but it is without .dat extension. If that is supposed to be the file that I am to use then which .dat file reader do I use to open it and recover the history.

On newest updated Firefox 116.0.3 (64-bit), Windows 10 Home 10.0.19045. WhatsApp Web has also been updated to latest version. This morning, Web WhatsApp has lost the ability to Copy & Paste - cannot paste anything into the WhatsApp window or chats in Firefox, either from Firefox or from other apps such as Notepad.

WhatsApp Web C&P works perfectly in Chrome as of now. Please look into this.

I accidentally blocked the DrJava website due to not paying strict attention to what I was doing on the screen when using Firefox to go to this site - www.drjava.org. I don't know how to reset my access to this site and this site only. Is there a method I can accomplish that will reset this ONLY blocked site on my Firefox and Dell PC. Thanks in advance.

I was not able to download FireFox from browser so downloaded the app from microsoft store and I cant add add-ons it shows download failed check your connection but i have 5g internet, I also used mobile data to ensure download but no results

I'm really surprised and frustrated that I can't do this on Windows 10.

Please don't go technical on me. I read exactly how to bookmark a website. I understand how to create folders. What I'm lost about is how do I create a folder in my toolbar, and not see the website in the menu? I have tried to put a saved site in a toolbar folder, then delete it from the drop-down menu, but once it is deleted the toolbar folder is empty. The folder I created still exist though.

Then I tried to create a folder and put it in the Toolbar. In the drop down menu I left specific websites.

When I closed the browser everything was gone from the folders and the drop down menu.

All I need it to create folders in the Toolbar area. Leave "non-duplicated" sites in the drop down menu. I just don't need to loose everything again, I spent hours doing this, I'm thankful I was able to do a recovery, except it was the last date I used days ago.

Again, this is what I need, not how yours is.

I imported my bookmarks from chrome and there are thousands of bookmark folders. I wish to delete multiple folders at one time. All the answers I have found online do not seem to work. Is there a way in managing bookmarks to select and delete multiple "FOLDERS" at one time? TIA.

As a Firefox user, I want to be able to whitelist websites as they continue to be impermissible to people using their website without having to give up all privacy, such that their website works.

Replication Steps: 1. Open Firefox Browser 2. Go to top left and click hamburger icon (3 horizontal lines) in top right under the close option 3. Click Settings 4. On left side click privacy and security 5. Locate permissions in the submenu 6. Location -> Settings 7. Add website into search bar and hit enter to add to whitelist

Current Result: Cannot add to whitelist and cannot utilize website with browser. Will be forced to use competitions browser.

Expected Result: Site would be added to whitelist and therefore allow use of a site that is arbitrarily adding forced location permissions because vpns are well... hurting their bottom line to be frank.

Bank has changed access requirements to require geo-location when logging into account. Under Firefox settings, I found the geo-location settings screen; however, have not found how to add my bank's website for the purposes of allowing access to my geo-location when accessing their online banking services.

The only options listed were to delete 2 listed websites with geo-location access.

There is no add button to allow geo-location access when logging into my bank account?

8/18/2023 1340 Firefox ver 116.0.3 64 bit Keeper ver 16.6.0

I am still unable to use Keeper Ext. When I go to sign on screen for any of my saved websites, place the mouse in the sign on screen, nothing comes up for me to click on as before. On automated sights, nothing happens either. Can you advise estimated completion time?

This is what Keeper says:

I use WhatsApp in a Firefox web window so that I can copy, paste, and type using my keyboard. Suddenly beginning last week Firefox will not let me paste in the WhatsApp web window.

dom.event.clipboardevents.enabled is TRUE I still have the same issue in safe mode Ctrl-V, Shift insert, Right click & Paste, Right click & paste without formatting are all disabled.

It is only Firefox that has a problem (I can use WhatsApp in Chrome without issue). So far, it is only in WhatsApp (where paste is most important to me) that I have a problem.

I have Firefox 116.0.3 64 bit, the latest version, running in Windows 11, which is up to date.

Any ideas?

- Windows 11 will crash after using firefox to open a sharepoint link. - It will cause high cpu high memory and high disk. - The issue can reproduce 100% - Chrome will not have the issue.

I have tried to make sure cookies are enabled at BigFish.com website but I have probably made things worse or did it wrong. Both problems follow me around and please understand I have also been in contact with BigFish techs but I am not getting far in any solution.

I was told to clear the browser cache which I have done both for Firefox and BigFish but I can detect no difference at all. I am still told at the BF website that cookies are needed in order for me to enter.

I am at my wits' end with this and at my age of 83 I feel like I am rushing on that downhill slide much more quickly due to this problem. I feel that I have made some error in my wildly clicking around but I don't always understand the terminology exactly.

If anyone knows how to explain this to me in perhaps easy steps I would be most appreciative.

Copy & Paste not working in Whatsapp Web page. I've cleared cache, rebooted etc. Copy & Paste works perfectly in Edge browser to its certainly a Firefox problem.
