below steps suggested to solve , but couldn't find how to add mentioned plugin Firefox Open the Firefox browser or restart it, if it is already running. From the Firefox menu, select Tools then click the Add-ons option. In the Add-ons Manager window, select Plugins. Please help me understand why there is a feature to have cookies be made exceptions from deletion and then when someone elects to delete all data, cookies, and browsing data on exit....the EXCEPTION list of cookies also gets deleted.

I log in, and get the code sent to my email, type the code says it's wrong.. I'm using the code that was sent to me..

wait 5 mins get a new code, same things code not valid.. any suggestions as I would love to be able to use sync on this new computer.. but guess that's not going to happen as the codes I'm getting are wrong?

Hello, when trying to access reddit and other websites. Firefox is not loading the icons properly. I have tried:

1. Opening in troubleshoot mode
2. Opening in private window
3. Disabling Ublock Origin
4. Allowing/disallowing website to load their fonts
5. Clearing cookies and cache

All to no avail, kindly help.

Recently, I have been unable to read text on certain websites. I solved the problem by going to settings, and unckecing "allow websites to choose their own font". This broke google websites icons/buttons.

Following that, I disabled all plugins, uninstalled, purged, and reinstalled firefox to the latest version. Created a new clean profile, and nothing works.

The problem seems to be upon inspecting the code for gmail messages, "helvetica" is the font listed in the CSS, but I do not have this font installed on my system. I do have an ultra-condensed version which firefox chooses instead of using the font I selected in the settings menu.

Activating "troubleshooting mode" solves the problem. But I do not know what troubleshooting mode actually does! There must be more to this mode than removing all plugins and extensions, because I have already tried that.

If creating a new clean profile does not solve the problem, there must be some other configuration I am missing.

Please advise.

TL;DR - Firefox chooses the wrong font to display when websites are allowed to choose their own font. Unchecking this box breaks most other websites button/icon control.

I go to many websites whose languages I don't know. When I used to use chrome, I could just right-click to translate it to English.

Unfortunately, I cannot seem to find anything comparable here. Is there any add-ons or anything that I can get for it?

Also, I wanted to create an issue in so that firefox natively supports this. This is the only thing that has kept me from removing Chrome altogether.

I have set a master password for firefox Logins and Passwords. When I try to look at Passwords sometimes the login screen pops up to allow me to enter the Master Password. Other times I get the screen (see attached photo) that has a login button. When I click the button the screen flashes but does not pop up a password window. If I close all tabs and other windows of firefox browser then start only one firefox browser window it will ask for the master password. That fixes it temporarily but I have to close many tabs and several firefox windows.

Hello, I have two questions about private windows.

First, on the Home tab it says: "Firefox clears your search and browsing history when you close all private windows"

but what happens if Firefox crashes during a private window session? Will some remnants of your activity remain in some files, as Firefox did not have the chance to clear data as it normally would when closed gracefully?

Second question, when in private mode, does Firefox write data to either favicons.sqlite or places.sqlite (even if only temporarily)?

Roboform not working with Firefox version 110.0 on Windows 11. Works on Chrome and Edge. I've always preferred Firefox, but I'm very dependent on Roboform, so I'm migrating to Chrome until Firefox is able to see Roboform.

The open tabs began to scroll very raggedly. Before the update, the tabs on top scrolled smoothly and one at a time, now it has become worse. A slight upward movement of the scroll moves 7 tabs to the left/right and rather sharply. I didn't find the settings, the manuals, too, the safe mode also didn't help. Everything works correctly in another browser.

Like the title states - now have to scroll back down through all the bookmarks in a folder because it no longer holds its place. This is a great time waster.

Thought I would try to save some time by opening bookmarks in new tabs, but it then switches to the new tab immediately and I still have to scroll back through the same folder to open the next bookmark.

Is there a fix for this issue?

It keeps asking me to UPDATE and I keep clicking DISMISS. I want to turn off update checking. I keep asking for this feature to be restored, and no one is listening. It seems to me that what we want as users no longer matters anymore. I DO NOT WANT Firefox TO CHECK FOR UPDATES. I don't like being nagged.

Hi Since the latest update of Firefox, if I am clicking on a bookmark at the bottom of my bookmarks list, when I then access the bookmarks list again the bookmarks list always returns to the top, so I have to scroll down again to the bottom, as my bookmarks list is quite long. It never did this before and would always remain at the same point in the bookmarks list when I opened them. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
