one of my friend uses google. As we live in sweden, We have to visit so many swedish site. But google always translates all those possible to English automatically, and also there is an option comes as you can change the language.

But I do not get the chances here.

This happened after the last update 105.0. Any way to fix it?

I have google set as my homepage and cursor starts at the address bar when opening firefox instead of the google search box in the middle like it always did.

Firefox will not download anything from any website. Any time I try to access pdf, jpeg or what ever all I get is "download failed". I always need to resort to Edge to get it, ready to be done with Firefox. Any suggestions for someone who is only mildly technical? I have tried opening in Firefox and Adobe, tried saving instead, nothing works

When printing, Firefox shows printers that are no longer connected to my Mac and were removed from my Mac printer settings in preferences. But, I am unable to remove them from Firefox. I already tried clearing the printer settings by clicking "Clear saved print settings" in troubleshooting, but the old printer names are still showing up.

I have a web app that uses cookies to reference sessions that contain login status.

For example: when I log in, a session is created that tracks that I am logged in. When I go to another function/page the cookie is deleted, thus I am no longer logged in.

I have the Security set to "Standard" and the website URL unprotected.

Chrome and Safari are fine, it's only Firefox.

What am I missing?

i just upgraded to win 10 downloaded firefox and when i play videos i get format is not supported error when i tryd playing same videos on explorer those videos worked they didint worked on opera gx too i already tried deliting firefox and clearing all left file with cc cleaner dont know what to do

I just signed up for Mail.com and created a new email account there. When I first used it, I received a message (not an email) that I am not using the most current Firefox, and I need to download the most current Firefox. However, Firefox's update function says I am current. Now, I am concerned that Mail.com is not reliable or safe, although it is promoted by Firefox. Can you clear this up?

Good morning. As the title suggests, Firefox suddenly doesn't work after a windows 10 update a few days ago. The videos play, but the audio doesn't work. Microsoft Edge plays audio smoothly.

I tried to: - Clean the cache - Clean cookies - Check permissions for sites (automatically play Audio / Video etc.) - Restore Mozilla - Restart PC - Uninstall Mozilla - Check in the volume mixer that Mozilla was not muted - Check that the tab wasn´t muted. - Check in Settings > Sound to see that Mozilla is present among the various programs used by the Sound Card - Checked if Mozilla played with another account - Used Troubleshooting mode

I don´t know what else to do, I don´t recall touching anything but Bluetooth Settings from time to time to reconnect my Headphones.

We have our downloads set to a network location, and ask to save in location. We have needed to apply the fix I found in a forum by going to about:config, browser.download.improvements_to_download_panel and change value from true to false.

However, when even going to a PDF on the internet, it is automatically saving to the network location. Can this be changed?

It appears that the security settings and others were changed without any notification during a recent update. A login with card number and password were subsequently saved without my knowledge thus exposing my online banking accounts to possible unauthorized use. This should not happen and should be addressed.

I have been researching for a trip on my laptop and saved all the pages to my bookmarks. Now I want to move those specific bookmarks to my Desktop WITHOUT moving the rest of the bookmarks saved on my laptop. I only want to move specific bookmarks.

version 105.1, Win 10

I can't find the Firefox Updates section under GENERAL, and I am the only user/owner/admin.

This is the first time I came across this problem, and I've been using Firefox for years.

Can you help solve this?

Almost forgot: First it would not load the bookmarks toolbar, then It failed to show on the screen, even though the Task manager showed it running multiple times -after every attempt I tried.

Went uninstalling and reinstalling, and now it works when I downloaded from Microsoft, and did a REFRESH, losing my data -this function sucks big time, you don't warn clearly enough what'd happen, and reconstruction is a pain, specially as you explain in technical lingo without translation.

Any help is welcomed.

I am shipping a broken computer back to the manufacturer. I had installed Firefox on it using my Firefox account. Since I have used the Firefox password feature to store all my passwords, I'm concerned that someone at the manufacturer could access my passwords. (The computer refused to boot, so I was not able to scrub it prior to sending it back.) My question is this: if I change the Firefox password on my home desktop, will my passwords on the returned computer be protected?

Auto-updated to v105 today (105.0.2 64-bit Windows 10) and all bookmarks were gone. Not just gone but the bookmark manager seems not to be rendering properly (see attached image where there should be at least some elements drawn). Additionally, neither the bookmarks nor history left pane show anything (second attachment).

The 105 update was applied this morning when first opening the browser. Profile folder -> bookmarkbackups shows a backup from just before the update. Bookmark library -> Restore gives that backup as an option, but restoring that backup has no effect (does nothing).

Exiting Firefox and manually moving places.sqlite to a backup location and then restarting also has no effect. places.sqlite is rebuilt but library -> restore still has no effect.

Why cant i see my firefox password when i am logged into my account? if i anted to change it i wont know what it is as i selected the suggested pasword from firefo

I have a problem accessing articles in the New York Times web page. I have a Basic subscription and I am signed in. When I try to read an article, the New York Times site thinks I do not have a subscription and that I have used up all my free articles. If I use the Chrome browser, it works fine, but I do not want to use Chrome. I use FireFox for all my browsing. I have deleted cache and cookies. Tried the "Private Windows" too. I have logged out and back in. I have rebooted the machine (an Alienware 17 R5) and closed and opened Firefox. The "agents" I chatted with say this is a browser problem as everything is working fine on their side and it works in Chrome. Can anyone help me out?

Ever since today, firefox has been very slow with youtube, and I noticed it's been having a memory leak. Every time I load a video on there ram usage spikes by about 1 gb, then gradually increases over time (It never goes down). Also cpu usage when loading a page is really high (almost 100% usage). How do I fix this? I tried all the solutions google had to offer but nothing worked. Never had any problem like this for over the 10 years I've been using firefox

I use Mac with different tabs placed in different Desktops. Example: FF Tab1 on Desktop1 FF Tab2 and FF Tab3 on Desktop3

When for any reason (mac crash and or Restart of Maxc) When I restart FF and reopen previously closed FF Tabs --> ALL FF Tabs are packed in Desktop1. All other Desktops have no more my previously Tabs I had to (FF Tab2 and Tab3 in previous example are now in Desktop1 instead of being in Desktop3).

Any solution to fix this? Thank you
