I had to remove my side bar to do a print screen. With the latest version of Firefox I can't find how to put the side bar back! Not Happy..... It use to be obvious but now it is too hidden. Who is doing the user testing these days? Please fix the issue.

The photos page in OneDrive is having trouble loading most of the time. The page has the OneDrive header, and the section where the photos should show up is simply blank. Screenshot attached.

This is working fine on Google Chrome, but I would prefer not to use chrome for privacy reasons.

Can anyone help me with this?

Hello! After updating to the latest version of Firefox (100.0.2, 64-bit), I notice that Google search stops working every now and then. By stops working, I mean I can't use their website https://www.google.com or search using Firefox's address bar or search bar. Searching with other search engines like Bing is working normally. In order to get Google search working again, I have to close and restart Firefox. However, after some time, it stops working again. How can I fix this problem?

As said in the title, both Firefox, Firefox DE and Chrome will open and crash/close instantly on my new Lenovo Legion PC with Windows 11 installed on it. Only Edge works, and so far I've tried a lot of solutions : -Restart PC -Uninstall, delete files and fresh install both programs -The MSCONFIG thing and unchecking start programs -Every update Windows update recommended me -Entire new windows install, without any linking with my previous pc (which had the same problem two times already, both fixed by returning to a previous version of windows)

I believed it was a ram problem with my previous pc because it was old, but this one is completely new and has the same problem, while there's nothing except my microsoft account that is common to both PCs

I'm completely lost, help me please (writing this on another PC)

Using Windows 11 and want to set Gmail as my mailto option when clicking on email links on websites. Under Firefox/Settings/Mailto I no longer see the option for Gmail, not an expert on technical matters so I have googled the problem but still can't find a solution. Do I need to find an App on Windows or perhaps an Extension within Firefox, feeling completely lost at the moment.

Is there any way (as in Thunderbird, via layouts.css.devPixelsperPx) to enlarge everything on a given monitor/display/colorDepth setting? Or an approach using userChrome.css that impacts everything, not just displayed text in the browser. Yes, this is a "tired old eyes" (excessive nanoseconds spent looking at bigger and bigger displays with higher and higher resolution) type question. My setup is multiple boot OS including Windows 11, Ubuntu, Manjaro, Arch. In each Firefox is the default browser, but Chrome and Edge seem to have more fine-grained controls for managing the chrome display than Mozilla. Using the latest 64-bit Firefox (100.02) if that's helpful.

For at least the last few months, I've been having problems with printing. It doesn't matter if it's a web page, an attachment in yahoo.mail or a return label from Amazon, the print is too big to fit on the paper. If I switch to Edge, it comes out fine. I have used Firefox for years and never had this problem till now. Please help.

no ryme or reason that i have found. not a continuous issue, works normal 3 hours, next minute boom takes off immediately to bottom, if i reverse direction action will stop, then i drag bar back upward where it took off. I have replaced batteries in mouse thinking low voltage, not this issue, on-screen cursor will stop/n start or to me acts like too many other background apps running using all bandwidth or ram = low batt voltage =replace batt problem solved. scrolling issue does seem to happen more often in overnight hours, hard to say definitively, MS is no help, after reading 9 pg. of community scrolling issues mine is diff. no issues of randomly, this has been happening for awhile 2yrs maybe more. its the random part that confuses me, i gone threw all mouse settings on/off n firefox, windows, HP, no fix, no error, very odd, i have changed wireless mouses, i dont think i've tried a corded one, after this i will, just gotta find it. HP laptop; Gear Head MPT3200RED mouse;HDMI cord to 42" Sanyo LED TV; ANKER USB w/4 xtra slots; I never touch laptop lid is closed all time, multiple screen switch on. Its very annoying only one indention roll of wheel, one line selected in win settings, mouse receiver plugged into laptop which is approximately 6 ft. away max. there will be days works perfectly normal, n then this evening started again, probly been week maybe, i'm gonna start keeping track of every factor i can think off date, time, website, tabs active, extension s on/active eg. just now tubi going threw my list which is very long page, 6 dvd picture lines down boom takes off just caught it around line 20 outta 150 lines maybe, heres thot, internet access threw verizon hotspot using tether hi speed cable connected to Galaxy S9, if web page not fully loaded thats when action starts, once it starts doesnt matter then random part kicks in, i can restart cpu, or disconnect S9 for minute , sometimes that helps, but not always. oh. i also use onscreen keyboard to type...suks...this Q has taken over hour to type as i click one letter at a time to spell words, my hand n index finger cramping. any thots you can think of wud be most appreciated , i'll do my best at documenting incidents , thnx vic

The "Latest Tweets" header on twitter has recently started automatically scrolling and blocking whatever is shown on screen.

If I try to tweet, the screen appears to split and it is not possible to see the actual Tweet edit and post screen and the screen locks not able to move up or down.

This has only started in the past few days.

Can you help me to disable to scrolling of the sticky header?

I changed approx 15 passwords in Chrome and I would like to import then into FF. I already have the old logins/passwords in FF. If I import them from Chrome will I end up with double entries or with they be over written with the updated passwords?

Apache/2.4.25 (Debian) Server at myaccount.assurancewireless.com Port 443 works in edge and Chrome and ie/able all adons cleared cookies done everything i can even called assurance and they were able to access it not sure why i got it in edge and ie'

Up until Firefox 64, Firefox had limited support for RSS:

• Viewing a RSS feed would show you the feed items, with an option to do something with the feed.
• Live bookmarks would actually subscribe to those feeds

I can understand removing Live Bookmarks. It's a big feature. I don't understand removing the (what I assume to be) XSLT stylesheet that made RSS feeds not look like a wall of XML. Does anybody know what the conversation was here? Are there minutes?

Even basic RSS support helps people interact with the web, and since Chrome and Firefox both dumped RSS, users are being driven further and further into the arms of "Platforms" who handle this stuff through black-box algorithms. And so much tracking.

Mozilla should reverse this one. Bring RSS back hard.

(when i click "Capture video" the LED near the webcam hole is on, but preview not shown.

but in chrome, edge and opera connect successfully. first LED on, then preview is shown with no bug!

(first i check firefox, not connected, then check in chrome connected, NOTE: device is not busy with chrome when i check firefox, i am a web developer:) )

I see no way of doing this. You'd think there would be an ADD option somewhere in the search engine page. Instead it takes me to the Add-Ons page. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-CA/firefox/extensions/category/search-tools/ What has this got to do with adding a search engine to the browser? Must be a mistake.

Hi I am trying to change the default homepage Firefox logo to my own, but i could find no tutorial on how to do that. I only found 7-9 year old posts, that did not work. So my question is: Is it possible to change the default firefox logo on the homepage to my own one, and if it is then how?

When I connect to my home router via HTTPS I get a popup with the message “Invalid Encryption Key”. I tried using other installations of Firefox and I don't get this pop up. I then made a new Firefox profile on the same computer and did not get the popup. So it seemed like a Firefox "refresh" would be in order. But after the refresh the problem persists.

So how do I resolve this issue?

When FF on my Windows 10 machine crashed FF asked if I wanted to refresh FF. I said yes, and FF reopened as usual with all my tabs. After I closed and reopened FF the next time, it reopened without any of my tabs. I then discovered that FF had unchecked the “Startup Open previous windows and tabs” box, which I had previously religiously monitored to be sure it was checked. So I lost all my previous tabs.

In my sessionstore-backups folder I found the file upgrade.jsonlz4-20 as last in a list of three more recent file names. I then dropped the file upgrade.jsonlz4-20 in the scrounger tool on this site: https://www.jeffersonscher.com/ffu/scrounger.html. It expanded in the big window, and when I clicked on Save uncompressed JSON as text, I see all the URLs run together in a text file.

How can I use this information to recover my tabs, please? If so, how? Or is there a better way to use the Scrounger – or another – tool?

Otherwise if I delete the three more recent file names in the list above the upgrade.jsonlz4-20 file, and restart FF will I recover the missing tabs? If so would I the check or uncheck the Startup Open previous windows and tabs box?

Lastly, can I restore my missing tabs using Windows’ “System restore” tool from 3 days before the crash?
