How can I get rid of that logo? I tried the "flip flag to false" and it didnt work.. I have downloaded BRAVE and will use if for now.. When someone can explain how to remove it, I will use Firefox again.. I don't like it... I like a clean home page, and would think I can have the option of removing it.

The offline package download speed is too slow and sometimes fails. I hope it can be provided separately, like interface language packs, just as Debian has separate interface language packs.

I need to be able to place bookmarks in bookmark tool bar. this is what it say: For quick access, place your bookmarks here on the bookmarks toolbar. I tried with Yohoo news it wouldn't stay.

When I go to (seemingly) any Elsevier site, the browser tab immediately closes with no error or explanation. An example is this site:

I recently added the primary password (master passwrod) for my firefox browser from the settings.

Normally it locks the browser functionality until the password is correctly entered, but one thing I noticed recently was that the hyperlinks/webpage links from 3rd party app (discord/pdf readers/etc) opens the website regardless of this password input. I can use the page to browse the internet, although the password still works for locking other things like firefox's built-in password manager.

Is this intended mechanism for a "locked" browser?

How can i access the side bar ai, i use it quite often for classes to make sure i'm getting things right and use it to get some ideas on how to make my notes but my old laptop had it and now this one wont let me access it at all. I need that sidebar to help me with school and it wont let me access with it. The article you provide says no way to activate it or how to download it.

Google appears to be taking over control of my firefox page. When I open Firefox, Google search and other functions appear on screen and take over. Also, most of my saved bookmarks have disappeared .This probably happened when I got tech help to deal with problems accessing my MS and Google accounts. I have always used the Google search engine but it only when I clicked on the search bar. Now it seems to have taken over and I seem only to be ableto access sites using Google Can I restore lost bookmarks so I can go direct to internet sites?

The main screen (desktop) there were 4 rows of bookmarks connecting me (user) with the websites that are frequently connected. Recently after restarting the desktop computer, those shortcut bookmarks no longer display. Plus I'm unable to connect to the record of bookmarks previously saved using the star icon. Hello Firefox helpers!

I save my login details for various websites in Firefox version 144.0.2. Normally, I navigate to the login area of a website, and Firefox suggests the right username and password, and I just have to select the correct username.

For the past few days, I have had to enter my username and password manually to log in. The functionality for saving usernames and passwords is no longer working correctly.

In the settings dialogue some check boxes are greyed out. See attached screenshot.

What is wrong with my firefox?

When I logged in this morning my bookmarks toolbar was gone, along with the favorite start. I have googled and followed support articles and the only thing I was able to do is get the menu bar to show along with the the bookmark menu but customizing the toolbar.

At the top of my settings it says: Information: Your browser is being managed by your organization.

What does this mean? It's my personal laptop, I bought it myself and I don't work for any organization.

Hi everyone,

I am facing a strange issue with web browsers on my HP system after a recent Windows update. No matter which browser I use Chrome, Firefox, or even Edge webpages take much longer to load than usual. The connection itself is stable because downloads and streaming work without any problem, but normal browsing feels unusually slow.

I have already cleared the cache, disabled extensions, reset the DNS settings, and restarted the router. The issue still appears across all browsers. This started immediately after the last Windows update, so I am unsure whether this is a compatibility issue, a driver problem, or something in the network configuration.

If anyone has seen this behavior before or knows what additional steps I should check, I would really appreciate your guidance.

I'm no longer able to access my old computer, but I do have access to the hard drive. Is there a file that I can transfer to the new computer to sync all my previously saved passwords? I did not have a Mozilla account back then.
