Started using Netscape and been with Firefox ever since it started. For the last few months, I find that my Draytek 2866Lac router randomly crashes and resets itself when I am using Firefox. I cannot pin it down to opening any particular website but it seems to be related to opening a new tab / link. I have FF set to open new tab automatically and no extensions (other than British English) are in use. Using FF, I can seldom go more than 5 -6 hours between resets. Not using FF, I have now managed 2 days constant uptime on the router - which is a fantastic change! Is there something peculiar with my system and any ideas how I can get stability again please?

I am having to download Foxfire Developer Edition for a course that I am taking, but I am unable to figure out to go this. There is not enough information on the internet to get this done. I have watched videos on YouTube, but they are not helpful. I am new to this and would like some guidance in the matter. I recently updated my Firefox browser to the latest version, 138.0.1 (64-bit), on Windows.

After the update, I noticed that when playing videos in fullscreen mode (for example, on YouTube or other video websites), the Windows taskbar (the bar at the bottom of the screen with the Start menu icon) does not hide automatically. This is affecting my fullscreen viewing experience.

Before updating to version 138.0.1, the Windows taskbar would hide correctly when entering fullscreen video.

I was wondering if anyone else has encountered a similar issue with the Windows taskbar not hiding, or if there are any suggested solutions to help resolve this problem.

I found the tab groups more annoying than useful, so I went into about:studies and removed it, but doing so just makes a study entirely disappear with no way to bring it back if you misclicked, so that made me wonder, is removing studies permanent? Is it impossible to opt back in once you've opted out of a particular study?

I'm not particularly regretting my choice in this case, but it made me nervous how easy it would be to lose access to a feature just by accidentally clicking the wrong thing.

The Chinese account logs in with empty data and invalid synchronization. If you decide to terminate the cooperation with the Chinese version, you would like to publish a notice and open the synchronization server for the data. So that Chinese users can export their data and migrate it to their international accounts.

I have three email accounts thru (comcast, gmail and outlook). I have each of these email accounts bookmarked on my Firefox page. It used to be all I had to do was click on the bookmarked tab and the email account opened immediately. But, lately, each of these three accounts requires a sign-in before it will open my email account. One even requires a two-step process requiring I list a different email to receive a code to open the current email account I'm trying to open. This is a recent occurence and I wondered if it was something Firefox included in their more recent version of Firefox? If so, please tell me how to get rid of this sign-in process! I have many security processes to protect my accounts and do not need this additional required sign-in process! Please tell me how I can get rid of this requirement. It is a pain to have to re-sign-in each time I try to access my email which I do several times a day. Thank you for any help you can give me to fix this problem. Barbara Thomas

The way to opt out is to go on the following website and opt out. However, only 3 out of the 51 companies could opt out on Firefox. It claims that the browser setting is prevent it from opting out. https://optout.networkadvertising.org/?c=1

I read a SmartBlock explanation, but it was quite unclear. Seems to be tying SmartBlock to Facebook. I do not use Facebook. Why is logging in with Facebook required for SmartBlock to work on sites that are unrelated to Facebook? Very unclear.

Hello, Thanks for taking your time to help me with an internet page problem. The pages load but when using the cursor to select an option, I must reload the page using the circle with an arrow icon almost every time. Never happened before and it's annoying. I submitted a question earlier about not being able to use DocuSign. jonzn4SUSE was very quick with a response that worked perfectly. However, when I tried to mark it solved, I got the following error message. In addition, I didn't know where to find my original question so I could thank Jon and mark the issue closed. Where should I have looked for it?

Microsoft seems to have cut Firefox out for video chats. This is a recent change. Their message is that video is not supported by my browser (Firefox)
