I LOVE y'alls new splitscreen feature, BUT I also noticed ya'll put the X on the tabs so that at any time even if unselected, you can close it; Is there any way to make that x appear only when selected because the main reason I used firefox in the past was because middle click was it's own dedicated way to close tabs making selected tabs literally careless and SIGNIFIGANTLY time efficient, but now that that x is on the tab at all times, it gets in the way and IT'S MAKING ME CLOSE ALL MY SPLIT TABS. Please, as a loyal firefox user, with either tell me how to remove the x's or please make it an official option to have them off. Thank you for your time.

Something doesn’t look right. Firefox spotted a potentially serious security issue with jobs.tuvsud.com. Someone pretending to be the site could try to steal things like credit card info, passwords, or emails." And there was no option to ignore this and just go to the site??? I needed to open MS Edge instead, to be able to apply for the job???

the website I log in for internet banking (https://www.sparkasse-rhein-maas.de/de/home.html) is shown as written in brackets when opened in Edge, but as www.sparkasse-rhein-maas.de/de/home.html when I open it in firefor. And Firefox tells me it's not safe when I want to log in.

BUT - as I've only just discovered when I copied and pasted it in here - when copied it shows as https://www.sparkasse-rhein-maas.de/de/home.html, so safe after all? How can that be? I hope there's a good explanation.

Hi, I have firefox on my desktop, and I want to watch the "10 App" - which is an Australian broadcasting tv channel - but it keep saying " an ad blocker is stopping the app from working" I also tried their website, and the same thing happens. I tried to check the extensions there is no ad blocker ! can you please advise me how to add permission to this particular app/website. ? and where do I find this adblocker ? thanks.

Okay. So I downloaded Firefox on my chromebook from flathub, but it keeps crashing. I open a new tab: it crashes. I close a tab: it crashes. I don't open or close anything: it crashes. I don't touch anything: it crashes.

I've says that either my theme or one of my add-ons is causing the crashes but I removed my theme and it still crashes and I can't remove any add-on because it crashes if I try to open a new tab.

Now, did/does anyone else have this problem or am I just stupid and missing a very obvious thing.

There is a document produced by Mozilla Support entitled Install Firefox on Linux. There are tow commands explicitly for Trixie. They both start with cat <<eof. the first one didn't work and was obviously incorrect. after much digging i found that wrapping piece eof like this 'eof' works. did not figure out, someone else did. hope mozilla support will update file. < p></eof.>

1. My left-hand sidebar contained about 150 URL links, mostly not bookmarks. I have used this constantly for the last 10 years to access desired websites. 2. After installing 149.0.2 this sidebar with all links disappeared when Firefox was restarted. 3. I tried several suggested remedies such as changing profile or settings on General or Home tabs. None of these were successful. 4. I have seen a portion of my list twice, enough to believe the entire list is stored someplace. It displayed in a box on the Firefox page, but I cannot remember how I produced this list.

How do I get back to having a sidebar full of links?

Hello I am 99% Mozzila user. But today, and it started from early in the morning, I cannot download a page or file like from my Yahoo email. Or if I go to a page to pay my bill I cannot download a page that I paid medical bill for instance. Downloads that ususaly take a second to appear in a new tab, or open in adobe are still downloading from like 7hrs ago. I cannot ev en stop downloading. I click on x's but it does not stop it. Also, I cannot print anything from Mozzila. It attempts to switch to print preview, a page appear just for fraction of a second and there is a circle of lines turning around for ever, but it never shows up to print. I was/am able to print something earlier and download, but it laggs now and nothing helps. I shut Mozzila, I restarted my laptop countless times, but it does not work. It does work on Google and I can print a word file or from Google

bold text whenever I go to a password needed site (account), firefox says passwords blocked and asks for a touch ID or a Firefox (?) password WHICH I DON'T HAVE. Can i change my Firefox password? If so, how??

Keep getting prompted to active VPN but every time I try it just keeps looping back to the sign in start pop up. The VPN button is always gray with an X even after sign in.

I try to compose an e-mail and the address appears from contact list but when you click on it to put in the address in displaces the first two letters and a cross in red. the adress does not work therfore and Ihave to typr it in every time. Very annoying if there are multiple p[eople to send the message t@!'
