Why most extensions (addons) are not updated for last 2 years that are under "Recommended extensions"?

I checked many, not all, are updated since 2022 and 2023. Chrome updates them and allows them to be usable with newer versions of Chrome and other browsers that support Chrome extensions.

And same addons on Chrome extension store are updated but not on Firefox addon store.

Is Firefox not focusing on security and updates anymore?

Hello 1) How can I stop Google pop-ups? Each time I open a homepage that requires a log-in, a Google pop-up is disturbing and presses me to log-in via Google. This is harassment. I do not want to be harassed. 2) Firefox support: Each time I would like to get an answer, that is what I want, when I ask for support, I have do a lot of work until I get the bottom to contact you. Time is money, for me too. Where is the direct button to ask? 3) When I got an answer from you, is there a way I can store my questions and your answers? When enabling advanced user mode in uBlock Origin, a matrix of elements is presented when opening the dashboard. The matrix allows selecting either a gray noop or red block configuration. But prior to selecting noop or block, there is a black background. If neither noop nor block is selected, what is the black background doing?

I'm trying to add the "current" (5.23.13 Oct '24) Nordpass extension to a computer (where I had successfully added it just a week ago, under another account)... but when I searched extensions yesterday, only the older/Legacy version of Nordpass (4.33.10 Nov '22) is shown in the results. Searched from a couple other computers that I manage, all only show the Old/Legacy Nordpass extension.

cna you tell me why Down load helper no longer seems to work. when I first open a pge the download icon appears in full colour and then fades to grey and won't recognise you tube videos is this something you can fix

why is it that ever since the FORCED update crap, i can no longer have ad blockers? why am i now FORCED to watch ads for videos as short as 1 minute 52 seconds?

WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON WITH YOU GUYS AT MOZILLA? firefox USED TO BE something i would recommend to people but, now that i can no longer have facebook container, any ad blockers or anything else for privacy, i dont see no reason to recommend firefox any longer. if i have to continue waiting 10-15 minutes for a 5 minute video to load just so the ads can load first, and i can no longer have ANY privacy online, there is no need for me to continue using firefox because i can go through the EXACT SAME BULLCRAP USING google or internet explorer, i can have the SAME amount of time and bandwidth WASTED on ads as using google or internet explorer.

i got a message from you guys saying i HAD NO CHOICE but to update or not be able to use the internet, i tried, then you guys sent me the message that i can NOT update for windows 7 (even though your site said windows 7 CAN get the up to date firefox web browser) because my computer is TOO DAM OLD! WHY THE HELL DO YOU LIE TO PEOPLE LIKE THAT! NOT EVERYONE CAN AFFORD THE COST OF A NEW COMPUTER EVERY TIME WE TURN AROUND! ESPECIALLY US WHO ARE DISABLED AND ARE ON A FIXED INCOME!

IF I WANTED TO WATCH SO MANY ADS, I WOULD GET A SATELITE DISH AND WATCH THE PARAMOUNT NETWORK!

NO privacy while web browsing? so you guys are just letting facebook track me online now! what the hell?? not to mention 300 ADS instead of seeing what my friends post to face book or the pages i am following!

want me top stay with you guys for a web browser? then i need the ad blockers add-ons and privacy ad-ons back!

I have been looking to make my own extension and I am following mozillas borderify first extension document. When I go to load the temporary add-on in the about:debugging page, I am unable to upload the folder containing my manifest.js, borderify.js, and icons folder.

I looked into solutions, but everything just assumes that I can add them when I can't.

This used to work but now it showed as a faint icon in the above bar. I unpinned it but it doesn't show up in the overflow either now but still shows in installed app's. I don't see a way to make this work. Any help would be appreciated. May uninstall and re-install firefox? Also, maybe uninstall extention but don't see where to do this. I have this on a PC Windows 11 Thanks

for one thing i can hardly see what i am typing because, although i have Dark Reader turned on, it isn't functioning for this process, ie asking a question?

How can i make dark reader work everywhere, on all sites?

ALSO it does seem highly ironic that it doesn't work here!

The True Key extension from McAfee cannot be installed on Firefox. I have the latest updated version of Firefox 133.0.1 64 bit on my desktop Dell computer running Windows 11 Pro. When I try to install the True Key extension, a message pops up advising me that the extension cannot be installed due to a Firefox policy violation. I have reported the issue to McAfee for their action. Photo of the pop up message is attached.

Whay have extensions stopped workong with latest Firefox update. E.g. Last pass is listed as an installed extension but clicking in the installed list just gives a settings page, and there is no button to enable pinning to the top bar, so I can't access Lastpass at all in this way. Have updated Firefox to 134.0.2 and reinstalled the Last Pass extension but no change. Previously I have been able to pin Lastpass extension to the top bar next to the Download icon. Other icon that do work: Pocket, Download, Account, Noscript, Duckduckgo search, ABP and jigsaw piece. When will this get fixed pleased?

I paid for the adblock premium and now youtube is not even skipping the ads, they just play and firefox doesnt seem to be blocking anything. it was actually better before i paid anything, this feels very scammy. wth is happening?

I would like to know how do I set the DuckDuckGo browser extension on Firefox, to open YouTube videos? I do not use the DDG browser because I can't use talk to text on it. If it ever gets an update where I can use it, I will use it. For now the extension is fine but I would like to know how to open the videos because when I click on a video in my search results it does nothing

I use VPN to log on the Youtube, and I have the licence of Video Downloadhelper. But I can't download the video from YouTube. Can you tell me how down the video from YouTube.
