Hi,

I'm trying to access my Apple ID (appleid.apple.com). When I select "Sign In" the page hangs and never displays the fields to enter my user name and password. The message I get is "This action could not be completed because of an error. Try again or check back later."

Under Settings > General > Network Settings I selected No proxy and I disabled DNS over HTTPS. But neither of these actions made a difference.

Eventually, I had to use Microsoft Edge to access my account.

Any ideas?

Hi: I've used Firefox for years without trouble and I've even given money! However, I think the last update has prevented my banking site from operating correctly. In Bill payment you choose who you want to pay and fill in the amount. This still works. I move to the month, day, year boxes. If I click, say, on the month box I get a dropdown but selecting the month nothing happens. Ditto with day and year. The day box shows 1 and the year shows 202 and nothing changes when using the drop downs. Can't manually fill in the boxes. At first I thought it was my bank but they said there were no reported problems - they would! So tried Brave and Edge. Both worked perfectly. Tried it on my laptop rather than desktop and same problem using Firefox showed up. I hadn't fiddled with any Firefox settings. What to do? Thanks Donald

Following site is immediately hijacked to a scam site asking for login apparently to access private info. It happens with Firefox (only) whenever security setups are set "not to track", "not to prompt for passwords", "not to prompt for credit cards" "no history" "reset of cookies at logout" etc.. then the site below: http://thaimassage-herborn.de/ is redirected to SCAM SITE: https://xb7.serverdomain.org/admin/index.php appearing as "Adminpanel" asking for Login etc..

At the same time following site is partially blocked on the news banner pictures, with a white sheet over them, whenever down scroll is hit. https://www.tgrthaber.com.tr/

Only by resetting firefox deals with the issues. But ofcourse with the reason, above security settings removed.

Virusscanner was not able to detect this hijacking or the reason behind.

Is this a firefox software issue? Is there a way to resolve this? Thank you already for any support or suggestions to resolve.

I downloaded JDownloader yesterday. It forcefully installed some adware which became the default search engine, can't recall its name and Avast Antivirus. There was no option to uncheck them while installing. Since I didn't like JD at all so I uninstalled them all using Revo Uninstaller. Now while I searched something in the url bar few times that adware's page searched my keywords. I opened my settings and I got this message Your browser is being managed by your organization. PFA. This is my personal laptop connected to my personal wifi. Hi, I have a problem with login in to my Firefox Sync Account, after clean installation of Windows 10. I have not recall to enable 2FA in Firefox Sync i have never used it to activate account on my PC or Android Phone. I'm using 2FA to my Google Account witch is the email for my Firefox Sync Account. But supposedlyi did.

I have tried to use keys generated by Google Authenticator (witch is only 2FA token I use, not counting Facebook App, witch I use only for FB) but no success. I tried to use this link https://accounts.firefox.com/signin and then use proper password. Then there is an information to check email for confirmation link. I get no email, noting in spam nothing nowhere. I did add the accounts@firefox.com email address to protect it from spam filters, but nothing in 4 days, waiting for a miracle. 

In an act of desperation i did change the password for the account. And i received email to confirm this chance witch a did. The email was send from accounts@firefox.com e-mail, and it arrived in my inbox immediately.

Why i do not get the confirmation email?

The latest Firefox update locks up my Mac OS 10.14.6. Force Quit does not work. Cannot shut down properly, or at all, unless using the power key. Did not have this problem until I updated four days ago. I have to run 32-bit because of other applications.

I get that I need to have certain addons only for the developer Version, but I've been having difficulty keeping up with what I need for one and ones that meet my specific needs otherwise. I can only type using one finger at a time due to my autism causing poor coordination. I've been having trouble keeping my gmail synced up in places and it's the mail one I use. But I can't sync my password to different devices as it always asks for a password I haven't used before. I am happy to keep the addons proper on the developer version, and not use it for anything until I ca get it set up without having to re-sync everything. Do you have a suggestion for limited motor ability?

Hello firefox support, my computersystem seems to have an error, which leads in certain cases to a bluescreen. During the last couple of months i had cases where a Firefox tab crashed and restoring the tab always led to a bluescreen. I don't think that my Firefox instance is the main problem, but knowing the cause of those crashes could help me finding a solution. The last crash gave me the following crash reports: bp-5c21003e-9e92-4251-836d-1f8840200521 bp-9a8fa9a0-282e-4980-808b-9bb1e0200521 bp-a99a3cb4-aad0-48ea-b83b-ca3d00200521 bp-1c136cc7-029d-4ed4-9b33-c62a00200521 bp-de80bdf5-a533-49a5-8e07-d23e70200521

If you are couriose about the bluescreen messages: In most of the cases the error message was Memory_Management and Kernel_Data_Inpage_Error. Because of that i tested my RAM and my Harddrive. Both hadn't any errors which led me to a dead end. Investigating the Kernel error led to failiure code: 0x0000007a which should be a file access error. That tells me that those blue screens should be tied together. Even if you give me some informations about the cause of the firefox crash report i would be very thankfull.

For 3 days I have been trying to install Firefox. Firefox dowloads and starts installing. I have set Firefox as my default browser and turned off antivirus to not interfere with the install. It appears to install and then gives an error message that the address of the download file is incorrect (see attached JPG). I sometimes get a message about a file being corrupted (roughly one time in each five tries) also shown in the JPG. I have tried clean installs at least a dozen times (delete the programfiles/mozilla node and then do a fresh download. After clicking download have selected both run and save multiple times. I always get the error message about a bad address. Any help would be greatly apprediated. Thanks.

password security is not there in this browser at all ,non technical one can also get vulnerable details of the user easily,when someone has set save password . supposed the gmail accc password is saved and then the user sign out of it, and try to log in again then passwprd is visible again, there should have been password attribute and password should not be visible unless the user enter system password or fingerprint auth, it is very serious issue i think

I'd very seriously would rather the computer freeze or risk hardware damage, whatever pref(s) listed and unlisted I need to enable or disable I can put in lock file or anything. -Thanks!

On saturday our global sertificate expired and we renewed it a bit late. Now Firefox users cant visit our site, seeing this error message.

   Secure Connection Failed. 
   Please contact the server administrator or email correspondent and give them the following information: Your certificate contains the same serial number as another certificate issued by the certificate authority. Please get a new certificate containing a unique serial number.
   
   Error code: SEC_ERROR_REUSED_ISSUER_AND_SERIAL 
   
   The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified. 
   Please contact the website owners to inform them of this problem.

Unfortunately the only way to fix it we found is deleting the whole profile, deleting the sertificates themselves does not work for us. It is very difficult for our users to do it. Can you please help us with this problem?

I'm the sort of person who deletes his cache and history after EVERY session, running spyware and virus scanners every night.

Halfway through using the browser yesterday when several (not all) pages began appearing as they do in the attached photos. As shown with the two LinkedIn examples, reloading would sometimes get the page itself back up, but images (avatars) and embedded media won't show up.

I hadn't changed any settings before this started happening. I thought it might be an add-on/extension problem, but I have all the same ones in Opera and everything is showing up fine there.

Somehow I got Adblock Plus and it's been nothing but trouble. First I noticed ads that weren't there before, then it kept opening new windows about just downloading ABP and it won't keep my settings. Last week I wrote an email asking for help and didn't get a reply. This ABP Plus is a MESS.

1. It won't keep my settings.

2. Right now I have no fewer than 5 "Installation" tabs in my browser. How do I make them STOP? It started after this last time that I updated your program.

3. Right now I don't even know if it's working right. How can I go back to the last version that didn't foul up?

Today, I went to Firefox website and was going to download to plain old Adblock but that page said it was not monitored. see attachment. So I went to the Mozilla website. see attachment. When I clicked on "Recommended extensions may also be found while browsing with FF...." it took me to a page that didn't have anything about AdBlock. Over an hour later, I ended up right back where I started from. I'm exhausted and I give up trying to follow links that take me back again and trying to describe how it's taking me round in circles. How do I go back to the old AdBlock? It worked well for me, didn't make me reset every time I open my browser and actually blocked ads. Firefox, Windows 8.1 latest versions. Please reply in simple English I am a senior and techy words just make my head swim. If someone replies and I don't reply back, it may be that I can't get on the internet, the wifi here is lousy at best and most of the time, not at all. Approximately 2 wks ago I allowed a support tek located in India to remotely access my computer to fix a problem I was having on my computer. After resolving the problem he asked me for my credit card # so he could charge me for fixing the problem, which I had clearly advised him at the very beginning of our conversation I wouldn't give him remote access to my computer if there was going to be a cost involved.

He became very agitated and abusive and threatened to call #411 and report me to whomever answered that number.

In addition, HE REFUSED TO DISCONNECT FROM MY COMPUTER AND HE REMAINED ON THE PHONE AND IN MY COMPUTER, DURING WHICH TIME I COULD SEE HIS CURSOR MOVING ALL AROUND MY SCREEN!

IT FINALLY OCCURED TO ME THAT I COULD PROBABLY GET RID OF HIS PRESENCE ON MY COMPUTER BY SHUTTING IT DOWN, WHICH I DID. WHEN I REBOOTED MY COMPUTER, MY HOME SCREEN WHICH HAD BEEN LOADED WITH APPROXIMATELY 30 ICONS OR SO NO LONGER INCLUDED THESE ICONS!

NOTHING LIKE THIS HAS EVER HAPPENED TO ME DURING ALL THE YEARS I HAVE BEEN USING A COMPUTER & I AM BESIDE MYSELF WITH WORRY OVER THE POSSIBILITY THAT BEFORE I SHUT DOWN MY COMPUTER AND I COULD SEE HIM MOVING HIS CURSOR ALL AROUND ON THE SCREEN, HE WAS ABLE TO COLLECT ALL MY MOST IMPORTANT INFORMATION ----- BANK ACCT NUMBERS! 401K PLAN! ALL MY SAVED PASSWORDS TO ALL PERSONALL ACCTS! ---- YOU NAME IT, HE MUST HAVE BEEN COLLECTNG ALL OF THIS INFO TO USE AS HE WISHED IN THE FUTURE!
