Hello. I and a friend of mine are having trouble with firefox, it seems to be using excessive ammounts of ram as pictured. I only had two tabs open and two addons installed when I took that screenshot. Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance.

A couple users at our site intermittently receive a SSL_ERROR_BAD_MAC_ALERT error when navigating to Google in Firefox. This happens in Version 99.0.1 (64-bit) on Windows 10 computers. When the issue occurs, users can navigate to other websites without issues. Navigating to Google in a different browser works no problem. Restarting the browser will resolve the issue. Clearing cookies and site data has no effect. Users can also refresh the page after some time and the issue will go away.

Any idea as to why this is happening?

Hello! A site kept popping up a confirmation window for an action I was trying to take, and in the confirmation window, there was a checkbox for something like "don't allow [this website] to prompt me again" (that's as best I can remember). I checked the box thinking it would just allow the action to happen without the confirmation window, but instead, the site just won't take that action anymore. How can I undo this setting? Thank you!

I am running El Capitan and need Firefox 78. I went to a site offering 78 as a download, and version 91.5 came down. Site offering 78esr, same thing. Went to https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/releases/ and was unable to figure out how to download 78. Clicking on 78.0 just led to more links that got me nowhere. Is it possible to download version 78 from this or any site? Thank you. heaton5

A website I use frequently has recently been causing error; "Application error: a client-side exception has occurred (see the browser console for more information)." to show up when I visit some of their pages but not all.

The page begins to load and then presents this error. Any help would be appreciated.

I am running "Firefox Browser 93.0", and I have Windows 10 Pro Version 21H1, OS Build 19043.1288. I am unable to watch certain video's, as an example, the video in this link: [https://www.wandtv.com/news/illinois-.../article_24b92a86-32c4-11ec-a487-3bb3f17fa133.html] won't play. It use to work, but something has changed, not by me. It will play that same video using the "Edge Browser" so there is nothing wrong with the website. However, I can play this "YouTube Video": [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qAJSYk5wMiA] I also tried another link in their website, this is the weather link: [https://www.wandtv.com/weather] it starts to play, but then stops and nothing ever plays. Here is another link I tried on their website: [https://www.wandtv.com/sports/fans-ma.../article_f94f4ade-32e0-11ec-9351-ef71f52b96cd.html] It won't play either. But they all play in the "Edge Browser!" Any ideas on what changed and how do I change it back, so they will play? I prefer Firefox Browser to any other browser! Do you know what the issue could be? On ubuntu 20.04, the snap version of firefox can't play some videos. Some youtube videos will play but streams won't, and then I get the message "to play video, you need to install the required video codecs". On telegram web and tweetdeck I also get this message while trying to play some video.

Since it's a snap, nothing I do on my system will solve the problem, I cannot install any codecs.

Getting error SSL_ERROR_BAD_CERT_DOMAIN on all my sites that are signed with a SSL Cert from my internal CA since updating past version 99

This appears to be a bug starting after Firefox version 99 on Windows because after i upgraded to Firefox version 100 i started getting this on all my SSL Certs from my CA and they worked fine prior to the update. Can anyone confirm if something changed after version 100 that is causing this?

Immediately on update to 96.0 this afternoon, multiple sites failed to load - Google(Maps, News etc), Yahoo, Flightradar24 etc - others partially loaded - then sat there blank. Explanation of errors is NOT clear -

Is it possible to revert to previous version? Everything seems to work fine when using EDGE!

How do you remove The Firefox Title bar from my desktop? It prevents me from clicking the "Accept or Decline" buttons for example on software installs for example. on your support page I tried the "firefox menu> + customize & disable the title bar through the button in the bottom left corner of the window". There is no "customize" option.

I am running window 10 on my laptop and Firefox started opening today in a small window in the upper left of my screen. I have no problems with other browsers but Firefox is doing this repeatedly today. I will reboot and see if that helps.

A website MultiSafepay.com has saved my CVV number in Firefox.

How do I edit the autofill data?

I can't get to the same payment page, to be in a position to delete it.

Most links on this matter refer to:

 Options => Privacy & Security => Forms and Autofill

However in my Version: Firefox 98.0.1 (64 bit) running on an up to date Windows 10 this feature is missing or deprecated.

Can anyone say how I could edit/delete this specific entry, or point me in the direction of where this data is stored?

In the mean time I can't recommend using Firefox for entering critical security data, where websites can allow the storage of CVV numbers.

Hello, Firefox 91.0.2 shows in dev. console: Firefox can’t establish a connection to the server at ws://127.0.0.1

The Private browsing window has the issue too, but i am unsure if it really disable all extensions.

When i use different Firefox profile, then the localhost site i am trying to load is loaded without that error. So how to discover please which FIrefox profile setting is preventing the loading please?

Since I updated to Firefox v.91.0 I get this error:

when ever I try to connect to websites via Firefox only. I've tried many things like reinstalling Firefox and I know its an issue between Firefox and my Antivirus (Kaspersky,) but this didn't happen before Firefox updated to v.19.0 though. I've tried https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/firefox-cant-load-websites-other-browsers-can and many other things but nothing works to fix it. I've switched certificate stores and other 'fixes' I've read on this website and others to no avail. It does this with or without any extensions in Firefox.

This only started when I updated Firefox to version 91.0. It doesn't give an errors/issues on any other browser I've tried so far (MS Edge and Chrome) so must be something with the version 91.0 update?

Any ideas to fix this would be great. Thanks!

I run FF on both a Windows machine and a MacBook Pro. On the MBP the browser does not save my tabs, despite "restore previous session" being selected. I do not have this problem on the Windows machine.

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the browser but it has not made a difference.

I'm running the latest version of the browser and the OS is Big Sur.

WidevineCdm plug-in crashes everytime when I try to play disney plus or amazon prime. I fit the requirements via the disney plus site. Can anyone assist? I was streaming fine last week and now its not working.
