So on my macbook when I enable fullscreen the anmation is super weird. first it stretches the video to the top and then just expands to the whole screen, when I go out of fullscreen is stretches to the bottom and then goes out off fullscreen. for example on safari it just expands the video until it takes up the whole screen. I have gone in about:config and disabled the fullscreen animation but that did nothing.

To open a link of a website in the background tab is CTRL+click, why is it that to open a bookmark of the bookmark toolbar in the background tab is CTRL+shift+click. It is confusing! A bookmark is a link! For comparison, both of them are CTRL + click in chromium. BTW, there is no explanation in advanced configuration preferences.

OS: W11Ent_x64 V: 22h2 (b: 22621.3447) FF: 124.0.2 x_64 I tried several "Group Tabs" add-ons, like: Simple Tab Groups. Tab Group. And I few I can't even recall the name from. Yet, none works. Not ONE.

Now, I use Edge as well, on my corporate system that I got from work. Personal PC I use FF on.

But, the Edge Tab Grouping, which allows tabs to be "put to Eco-Sleep", while hidden the open tabs by clicking the Group-Tab Icon, is a feature I sorely miss in Firefox.

Odd, as, so many requested this feature, how come it has not been implemented over the many years of people asking?

Either way: Does anyone know a good, WORKING add-on that does the "Edge Thing" with FF tabs, please? Since, I often got like 200 tabs open, which is a real misery without Tab Grouping and "Hiding".

I added my own shortcuts and deleted all the preset ones (Wikipedia, Twitter, Amazon etc). On deleting the last one of the default ones, the 'Add a shortcut' button has completely disappeared. Is there another way to create a shortcut?

The nerd font in the webpage is not correctly displayed with all font settings (sans, sans-serif and mono) setted to nerd font.

While using firefox with mac trackpad or magic mouse it's really easy to accidentally middle click to a tab and close it. It's really frustrating to loose a tab. I guess it wouldn't be so hard to put an option to disable that function. That would make life so much easier. And there are LOTS of requests for the same thing in this site many of them more than years old.

The past two days Ive had about a dozen addons all updated with the same similarity, i.e.

Every one has not been updated for 6-7 years. I don't see any release notes. Is this some sort of qualifying re-certification procerss?

Hi, my proxy configuration settings got selected to No proxy and I'm unable to update it to auto proxy/manual proxy configuration settings as you can see in the below image, the pop got disabled and unable to select other options.

Steps to replicate 1.open fire fox browser 2.click on settings 3.select general >> Network settings 4.Click on settings

Actual result: unable to edit the proxy configuration settings got selected to no proxy and editing is disabled

Expected result: should allow user to select the below configuration options i. Auto detect proxy settings for this network ii.use system proxy settings iii.Manual proxy configuration

Basically, I copied this from an old post that I didn't understand the solution when I move my mouse to the top of the screen in fullscreen, the adressbar and tabs come up, I hate that how do I fix it

Good evening. Since a few days (since installed ver 124) I'm unable to use the "repeatability" from keyboard. I couldn't find any adjustment option in configuration to manage this. I tried outside (with other programs) and it works fine. Maybe its me, that I'm missing some adjustment. Would you guide me about this, please? Thanks in advance!

The attached photo shows the startup page that appeared today, yesterday that page had 12 of my most frequent websites loaded in place of the ones you see now. This page keeps changing on me and it's infuriating to have to remake it every few months.

I have Multiple Google play cards and the Play store won't accept anything..I have sent Multiple documents..emails..receipts..basically everything they have asked, I have sent in..they have kept my main Google account in flag state for almost a year..when I have been giving them all bank..ids..etc that they ask for!! I had Firefox set to load 4 tabs when started. Something has changed recently and now it seems as if the same 4 sites keep repeating somehow. I have set the Home/Custom URLs to these 4 sites, but cannot prevent them to load again when already loaded.

How do I add and keep the Gramerly extension in Firefox browser? I have added it many times but it often just disappears for some reason. I'm sure this happens just to piss me off, but perhaps there is a way I can get it going again. Please advise. Thank you!
