Sometimes when a a browser add-on is having trouble, I removed it, then hit undo, and sometimes it works again after that adds it back on. I thought I'd do that today since some were showing blanks instead of their icons. I did one from the manager just fine, but when I removed one from the toolbar instead of the manager, no undo option was presented, and I don't recall which it was. How can I undo, or view recently removed extensions?

below steps suggested to solve , but couldn't find how to add mentioned plugin Firefox Open the Firefox browser or restart it, if it is already running. From the Firefox menu, select Tools then click the Add-ons option. In the Add-ons Manager window, select Plugins. I use the 102.6.0esr (64-bit) Firefox browser.

For some reason, the ongoing downloads window has begun to open certain video and audio files when the download is complete. Clicking on some downloads in progress and with the same data type (say, mp4) brings up "Open when completed." Others of the same type do not open but save the file. I would like to turn the open when completed option off for all video and audio files.

I've followed the directions in the setting command for mp4 and other video formats--which indicate that the file should be saved. You can see this:

Is there a way for the new window animation in Firefox for Mac to be disabled?

Safari does not do this, but firefox has a... ~100ms animation for new windows that's extremely frustrating for those of us who do not use tabs (Apple's Exposé/Mission Control obsoletes them).

I haven't found a configuration in about:config, although I've been able to disable a few others.

I am starting to hate your updates.

Every time settings are removed, things are changed, using becomes more complicated and there is no guidance. Once it wiped out all of my saved bookmarks. Every. Single. One. Hundreds of hours of research gone.

After this last one, my new tab page settings disappeared along with all of the shortcuts. My bookmarks in the header also disappeared. Where did they go? Unknown. How to change this? Unknown? That option no longer appears in the settings menu. Or if it does, it was renamed/relocated. I looked everywhere it should logically appear.

My bookmark shortcut disappeared - it is no longer an option to add a site from the browser header. Where did it go? Unknown. How to change this? Unknown. That option no longer appears in the Settings menu. Or if it does, it was renamed/relocated.

Why make using your browser more complicated? I get tired of having to rebuild my browser settings every time you folks update. When an update includes drastic changes, we should be warned and instructions for accessing the old settings included.

I want to be able to control when firefox updates are done. many times, i try to sign on for a quick task. The firefox updates immediately kick-in and cannot be stopped. this prevents me from accomplishing my intended task in a timely manner. I want to do the updates on MY schedule, not Firefox's.

Hello, Firefox always downloads a pdf files from e-mail attachments, whether I open it in a browser or with acrobat reader. So, if I open the same file every time it goes to download folder with multiple clones, like example file-1, example file-2 etc. I've used every combination of options, but the result is always the same. I've refreshed Firefox, but nothing changed.

Please help me with this case.
