Hi, thanks for clicking the post.

I have become very interested in the Logitech Craft keyboard. It has a wheel at the top left that has different functionality for different applications.

What I would want it to do is to be used as a simple scroll up/down in Firefox and other web browsers.

I have asked the community at Logitech's website and was told by a dude there that the Crown wheel in fact cannot be used as a simple scroll. Which seems to me like a major blunder as it is to me the first obvious thing for a wheel.

My question is if the information I got was incorrect. But if not, then I would very much appreciate if anyone here could tell me if there's any other way to get it, a simple scroll using the Crown wheel, working for Firefox.

Many thanks! Regards / B

Hi, FF 89.0b2 Developer edition now contains a "fake editable" search field at the home page (the sentence contains in the class attribute so I used it here), when one start typing in it and the letters appear in the address bar.

For me personally this is partly non-intuitive partly annoying. I never met a scenario in UI of other programs, when typing in one place (where the caret is) show actual letters at another place.

Is this feature is here to stay or are there plans to to make it customizable? I used ff home page search for ages, now I installed a new tab home page extension with manually setting www.google.com in it.

Thanks

It may be a open ended question here, but which gtk+ (path) is firefox using?

I would like for Firefox to be able to: Warn me when closing multiple tabs without restoring my previous session.

I have researched online and tinkered with the browser's settings and I could only manage to make Firefox warn me when closing multiple tabs when I also had the option to Restore previous session enabled. I hope that something can be worked out in about:config.

Is there an option to get the old behavior back? When I'm browsing for reference images and I want to just have an image or video in a window I could just right click and use view image/video. Now it's open in a new tab.

You essentially just added one useless click to the whole thing which is me having to close the tab the image came from.

If you answer with, "You can just use copy image link and paste it in the same tab." You just turned what was right click then left click into right click, left click, move mouse over, click to highlight the address, ctrl+v

When I have to do this to hundreds of images every day, every single little click counts.

So, can I restore the old and better functionally? And really, when you do these changes, give an option to keep the old method or keep both.... Gesh...

I'm developing an add-on for Firefox which will take the colors from the favicon of the current tab to color bits of the tab-bar dynamically.

I'm having trouble finding out how I can modify browser CSS, for example in the Browser Tool box console, this works perfectly fine: ```const activeTab = document.querySelector('.tabbrowser-tab[selected="true"] .tab-background'); activeTab.style.background = "rgb(0, 221, 255)";```

but when inputting this same code in my add-on, it cannot query that same selector (I've given it tabs and theme permissions). This also does not work as a stylesheet.

Can anyone point me to what I need to access the browser UI DOM?

Per title and attached image.

Why do I no longer have the option to view image in the same tab any more? I should not need a browser extension to have brought it back. This new feature is, frankly, rather annoying and I would like to have the option to have it back. Please don't tell me to modify userChrome.css because that doesn't seem to do anything anymore. I have tried on numerous occasions to use it to get rid of the obnoxious Email Image by following markup examples given on numerous forums, so I don't trust it to bring back a feature unjustly stripped from me.

Or, failing that, tell me how to get that context to open in the background. I have that option set for links, and am rather unhappy that it is ignored on this new image context and bookmarks to a lesser extent.

It has been a day since updating to this new version, and I hate it already.

Hello,

since the latest update I experience problems with printing. In my store we print hundreds of little slips every day, they are the size of 1/3 of A4 format.

The webapp which prints them generates an A4 PDF, where only the top 1/3rd of the page is actually filled with information. Usually we print this via systems dialog, we have it set to print on Letter DL format, change the orientation 90 degrees and zoom to 270%, which gives us a perfect result.

As of yesterdays update, Firefox somehow changed the alignment rules, and the zoomed-in page now gets centred instead of aligned left, which completely breaks our process.

Is there any way to force left alignment? This is affecting two different machines exactly on the day of the update rollout. Changelog only says the print margins have been changed but I believe also the alignment has been affected by that.

Thx

From the very start, for the last 25+ years, Right Click a link, and hit the letter W to open the link in a new window... Suddenly, with 88 Update, it is now the letter D. (while everything else in Windows is still W)

How do I get it back to [W] (Industry Standard is W)

Why did Mozilla change the letter to D?

I don't mind having to train myself to use D instead of W... I do mind that everything else still uses W, so I have to train myself to only use D in Firefox.
