After the last update whenever I use the Firefox browser are extremely zoomed in.

Using a viewport checker, its showing for some reason Firefox is displaying my DPR at 1.40. Default settings should usually have it at 1.00

However going into the setting shows everything with Firefox IS set to default (for example zoom is set at 100%, etc)

After trying to find a fix myself I found old Firefox forums suggestions to go into the config and adjust a certain value (the layout.css.devPixelsPerPx) which defaults to -1.0. While adjusting this value to about 0.75 made what appears in the browser window return to normal, the actual parts of the browser (the address bar, tabs etc) were made unreadably small.

I'm having to use Firefox with every single website zoomed out to 70%-80% cause whatever that last update did broke my broswer. Apart from the above fix I tried normal fixes such as clearing cache, doing a "refresh" of Firefox install.

To put it in short: Everything on my screen, when using firefox, from the bottom of the address bar down to the bottom of the screen, is about 40% zoomed in, however none of the settings are shown to have been changed from the default values.

I am unable to see the whole screen and cannot access various tabs or buttons like the download, bookmarks, etc. The firefox screen is too large for my computer. This has occurred since the last update. Can I have the old version back??

After installing version 103 on my ASUS solid-state laptop, the firefox home screen will not fit on my screen. it will not scroll right to be able to access the help button..

my ASUS laptop was automatically updated to Firefox version 103. it now will not fit my screen. i cannot see the right hand portion of the page and cannot find a way to access it.

I think I may have accidently pressed a button and made the homescreen giant even though it shows as being at 100%. Does anyone know of a way to return to to normal?

I updated Firefox and now the type size is huge on most pages, I tried changing the size in the settings menu but it only changed it on my home page. How do I change it for all pages?

I upgraded my video card in windows 10 64 bit. The card lets me connect through HDMI finally. But Firefox won't display as before. It now looks like the version of Firefox for my linked cell phones after trying multiple restore efforts. Did Firefox change so the desktop version looks like it was made for my phone? I linked my phone and it seems to have overwritten my desktop settings. Are they recoverable, as in older recent backups of my data still saved somewhere on your server? Thanks much!

Since firefox updated in the last few days my browser is not working properly. Every thing is overly large and I can not adjust it. And it keeps flickering and jerking every once in awhile It does not work if there is a drop down list. I can not click on the list.

After the new update when ever I try to access a web page it looks zoomed in like way zoomed in and it is breaking many sites for example I can not even see the the bottom of this help box. It is not zoomed in it is a 100 percent.

This last upgrade on Aug 1st has completely screwed up my browser. My zoom is now insane, requiring shrinks that ruin boxes and other web objects. Half of my menu is gone. Never seen a worse browser disaster. How do I reverse this upgrade? Thanks for your time.

Ever since the update a couple of days ago my settings are so large that I cannot function in Windows. I am vision impaired, so I have Windows display set at 125 percent. This has never caused a problem with Firefox before. Please help!

I opened Firefox today to find everything zoomed in- the toolbar, the websites, everything. It was completely fine last time I used the browser. I have already attempted going to about:config and trying to change the resolution via layout.css.devPixelsPerPx, and it changes nothing. Some help would be appreciated.

Hello, I use Firefox with window 10. Recently when I open Firefox, I notice,the a bars the top are occupying 40% of the screen. This leave me much smaller area to see any content on the web. I have tried to reinstall Firefox. I even restore windows 10 to previous day and it did not help. Now I run out of any idea how to solve the problem. Thank you for your help, Xoo.

    i am sure it's come to firefox's attention that the new upgrade 103. is a bug / problem with making everyones' browser too large.. 

all you have to do is read the forums..

is there an expected fix" by firefox for this ?.....it really is a bad things...we all need to do business on firefox and it seems that this is a browser ( firefox) killer for a lot of us here..

Hi! Yesterday i updated my firefox to last version and i got my UI way too big, so today i looked online for some fix on that. I found a fix saying if you add a line in about:config site with the parameter "ui.textScaleFactor" with a value of 100 it will be fixed. but by mistake i changed it to 10 insted of 100 so when i open firefox i have a super big black screen

most of my problems are i can't reinstall firefox because it made the same weird big ui problem. There is any way to fix it?

I want compact mode back! I had a theme that enabled it, now it's not working. Not only that, enabling compact mode in config didn't make it compact, nor did it give me the option to change densities in the toolbar under "more tools." What's even more aggravating is that Firefox has made all the elements too big so I feel like it's set for a low-vision user. I can't change the graphical aspects, changing the fonts did not help. Zooming out makes it too small. You ruined a perfectly useful browser. Are you sick of your job, or are you just stupid?

Few days before everything was working as usual. But few days before the size of firefox gets larger. It means the tabs, URL address bar menu becomes larger. I'm using the same screen resolution as I'm using previously. I've refreshed and reinstalled firefox several times, even I reinstall my Windows OS. But the problem is still there. I'm using NVIDIA GTX 1650 super GPU.

With latest update comes Windows' "Make text bigger" accessibility setting now affects all the UI and content pages, rather than only applying to system font sizes.

Can I disable this behavior via about config or any other way? Now top plate consume much more space of screen (I use "Make text bigger" equals to 144%), very disappointed.
