After the latest Firefox Desktop updates (not sure which one exactly, since I didn't notice the issue immediately), I've started experiencing a problem with copy-pasting text — specifically with line break formatting on Windows 10.
Instead of copying line breaks using the Windows-style carriage return + line feed (\r\n), Firefox now copies only line feeds (\n). As a result, the text appears as a single long line when pasted into native Windows applications — which breaks the expected formatting. This behavior mainly affects:
At first, I noticed this only when copying code from ChatGPT using the code-snippet copy button. But now it happens in almost all editable text areas — if I enter text with line breaks manually, and then copy it, those breaks do not appear properly in native Windows apps. For example:
Right now, I have to fix this using scripts that replace \n with \r\n, but that's a very inconvenient workaround.
❗My main question is: What changed in Firefox that caused this behavior? This used to be reliable and feels like a regression. It’s a very basic feature and critically important for my daily workflow!

We flagged the reviews several times, but nothing happened. The Mozilla Support doesn't take any action, and reputation of our platform is suffering. Please, could you help us to know what should we do to delete these biased reviews?

Hello Firefox You are very good I use Firefox since a long time I wish that Firefox create an addon to enable us to colour every tab in a session where that colour of the tab can be saved for this single tab and we can change the colour of the tab according to our browsing meanings, because we tend to give the colours meanings so that we categorise the coloured tab in its place without changing the ordinary and usual user interface, that will make browsing more funny and productive, that's it

I should also ask: I don't remember how I enabled the old search bar, to the right of the address bar, mostly because I'm used to it. I don't see a box for it in Settings. What if I wanted to remove it? What if I then wanted it back?
Well, ok, one more. Also in Settings, Search, I see a drop-down list from which to choose my search engine, but no space to add a new one. Where's that? I've seen instructions to navigate to another search engine, but that can't be the way to do it. I normally wouldn't navigate to a search engine's page before searching.

Clear Cache, Cookies, and Site Data Go to Menu (≡) > Settings > Privacy & Security. Under Cookies and Site Data, click Manage Data. Search for "Shopify" to delete only Shopify-related data, or use Clear Data to remove all cached data, which can resolve display issues in Admin. 3. Run Firefox in Troubleshoot Mode (Enhanced Safe Mode) Firefox 2024 includes a robust Troubleshoot Mode that disables extensions, custom settings, and themes, giving a clean environment. Go to Menu (≡) > Help > Troubleshoot Mode. Choose Restart in Troubleshoot Mode, then Open when prompted. If Shopify Admin works in this mode, an extension or setting is likely causing the issue. 4.
