Hi,

Recently I noticed this issue:

1. I start Firefox. 2. I click on a bookmark which is on the bookmark toolbar. 3. The page seems to initiate navigation to that bookmark, but eventually stays (it never navigates). 4. I click again on the same bookmark. 5. Then, Firefox navigates to it.

I tried disabling Addons and disabling Hardware Acceleration, but it didn't help to fix the issue. This was suggested in this archived thread: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1245362

A similar issue happens when I'm already in GMail website and then click on another bookmark, but it refreshes the GMail instead of navigating to the other bookmark. (I hope to reproduce it soon and tell you the results.)

I just installed Firefox onto a new laptop, but the Bookmarks Toolbar shows the generic "globe" icons for most of my webpages, instead of the page-specific icons.

I am logged in an synced with my other devices that use Firefox.

Hello everyone, So I have a problem when I create a folder in my bookmark bar. I create a folder by category (unnamed for aesthetics). Once I have classified my favorites in these different folders after reopening Firefox, all my favorites are in a single folder. I specify that all these favorites were mostly imported from Chrome but that the problem persists with favorites added from firefox

I took my computer in last week to get a newer version of windows installed. I had so many bookmarks on firefox that I used for work and after finding the old bookmarks data on my desktop the most recent version is from April. Is there a way to find the most recent bookmarks from this month so that I can restore them?

As a researcher and writer I'm constantly on the web, and have many downloaded book marks that were organized by folders on the Menu bar. But this old laptop seems to crash frequently when I'm using Firefox. After the most recent crash most of the folders had vanished - three did not.

How can I restore those missing folders to the menu bar? Redoing them is a possibility, but would take a great deal of time.

I use the the bookmarks toolbar extensively, I have nested folders in the toolbar. Recently one of my folders disappeared, I blame my wife but it could have been me... I am hoping it got dragged to another folder but have not been able to find it yet. I used the "show all bookmarks" page and searched and found one of the links in the missing folder but I am unable to tell where the bookmark is stored in my hierarchical organization. Can anybody give me some pointers on finding my missing folder?

Firefox somehow got corrupted and I had to reinstall. In the process I lost all my bookmarks. I found a number of JSONLZ4 files in an "Old Firefox Data" folder and copied the most recent one to my desktop, then tried to do a restore from it. Nothing. What am I doing wrong? Thanks very much...the loss of my bookmarks is a major catastrophe, any help in getting them back is much appreciated.

Win 7Pro, 64 bit Firefox has been increasingly unstable over the past weeks. After installing the latest Version, all my bookmarks are lost. Is there a way to retrieve them? Hugo Scheer

I am new to Firefox as well as Linux and my laptop is running two hard drives, each dedicated to its own operating system, Windows and Linux. I created a Firefox account in Windows and was able to export all bookmarks from Chrome to the new account. The Linux version I'm using is Manjaro KDE and Firefox comes pre-loaded and so I logged in with my new account and chose import bookmarks from HTML, having exported from Windows Firefox bookmarks via HTML. I see no file on the receiving end? Any ideas? Thank You, Ron

Hi community, I want to bookmark only sites I wish to return to, but it seems that my entire history is bookmarked. I don't mind Firefox remembering my entire history, but it seems as though one's history and bookmarks and library are one and the same thing. I started using, "tags" to deal with it, but even tags require me to dig through my library/entire history to find them. Isn't there some way to have my bookmarks be separate from my history/library? Thanks in advance!
