This will always happen with the Epson TM-T20 printer after successfully printing approximately 40 receipts. After restarting Firefox the problem is repeated.
The printer driver is the latest version 5.09E of 2018-01-15 but the driver version does not affect this issue.
I have tested individual versions of Firefox with factory default settings. This problem first appeared in version 50.0b1. Firefox 49.0.2 and older work well with this printer.

Is this possible? And if not, it SHOULD BE!

I'm on Firefox 60.0~b9 right now but the issue first I noticed in version 59 stable channel.
The hangs up happens when I execute `fc-cache -fv`
While the OS updating fonts cache, Firefox use of CPUs will jump up, the window lags and every other tab becomes blank with circular progress animation in the middle of the page. Some time I can't close the window by clicking the close button and have to do it from command line.
Edit: Saw there was an update to 60.0-b10. Updated. Added a new font and updated fonts cache. Firefox hung and pages became blank, but after font-cache was finished from being updated the tabs recover to normal again. I didn't observe this behaviour before because I would have just closed firefox process.

So, I am yet another person asking about how to change the background colors so that I am not blinded by the flash of unstyled content. I have tried a custom userChrome file, ShadowFox, addons, and changing the display color in the about:config page. None of these have fixed the problem. Using them, I have made myself a dark theme that even works on browser pages. Now the problem is that the flash of unstyled content is white, and thus it hurts my eyes whenever I load a page. At this point, I have downloaded the source code, and am hoping the find the relevant section that would make the background black, so that for that split second where the css has not loaded, I do not have to see a white flash.
I am using Firefox Developer Edition. I have already enabled the dark theme, and at this point my only hope left is the source code. Can anyone point me to the file that controls the main background color for pages that have not loaded yet?
