Hi, when I use YouTube.com and i find this on "https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=blue+connection+touch+the+sky" I get this popup message ""This page is slowing down Firefox",etc.etc. What happened to the browser? Thanks!

This problem just began today on my Win 11 laptop. Firefox is current - 139.0.4. Win 11 is current. No new software has been installed. Firefox hangs up and will not move. Task manager shows FF is consuming more than 90% of my 16GB memory. I must end the FF task to get up and running again.

im using firefox on ubuntu, version 139.0.4. when i browse the internet using firefox, every some time the toolbar and the search bar "freeze" - i am unable to click anything, from the url, to any of the buttons. it takes up to like 1/2 minutes for the search bar and the toolbar to work again. i never had this issue before, neither on ubuntu (and other linux distributions), nor on windows...

I've had this issue for years, but it was always something I could live with. The Issue would only appear once every week or so. However, recently the issue seems basically happen on a daily basis.

After Firefox has been running for some time and there's a few other tabs open, The YouTube UI will periodically become completely unresponsive.

Just moving the cursor on top of Youtube will cause 100% + CPU in the Firefox task manager and the page is entirely unresponsive during that time (except video playback)...

This issue has persisted through reinstalls, new profiles and is also present without extensions.

Dear FF/Mozella staff,

  I have been using FF for many years with Windows 10, every time I launch FF it starts up, brings me to my start screen of favorites, and then shows itself still downloading on the top taskbar pane, but everything is already loaded on screen. The cursor will then not change to the hand pointer to follow links on screen. the bookmarks open to blank or unresponsive pages. Closing and reopening FF gives the error message that processes are still running and do I want to open a new window with FF, but that is unresponsive as well.

I am on a MacOS 15.5 and the latest Firefox build. Opening this link https://adobe.ly/444sG14 leads to the heavy stutter of the Firefox window.

Gmail is slower than frozen molasses, it is taking 15 to 20 seconds to respond to mouse clicks and typing as well as scrolling, it takes me more than half an hour to do what should take a few minutes, if this is not fixed soon that will be the end of Firefox for me, I will use Opera instead.

All 4 of my Firefox installations started sucking big time recently. Unbelievably poor performance loading pages, which was working super fast before. Never had such an issue, running on 4 different, high performance PCs and having same symptoms, where I have to wait for Facebooks posts to load for minute or so. Youtube stops playing in the middle of the video. In meantime if I try same pages on other browsers everything works fast AF. I'm on 1000Mbps connection at office and 500Mbps home. Noticed massive increase in RAM usage, which used to be around 3GB, it is now using 6+. What has happened ?

Every day gmail goes from moderately responsive to slower than frozen molasses taking 10 seconds or more to respond to mouse clicks and typing which is taking up a lot of my time and will likely result in an ulcer it is so annoying.

Win 11, latest FF version. A few addons, that never cause problems.

Firefox keeps freezing. I've checked Task Mgr, Event Viewer, Troubleshooting - and cannot find out why this is happening.

Restarted 3 times, but when I open outlook.com, the mail freezes. Open tabs keep freezing, so I'm unsure the culprit.

Version: Firefox 138.0.3 (64-bit) on Ubuntu 24.04.

When browsing, the tabs and address bar get stuck somehow. Tabs can still be closed with "close other tabs", and new tabs can be opened by following URLs, but the tab component is fully stuck. Sometimes it fixes itself, but usually it requires browser restart.

I have been using the Microsoft Surface Pro 4 for a while with Debian Trixie with GNOME. I have noticed that firefox works for the initial half hour or so and after that it just stops responding to the touches. I know its Firefox because the other system parts stay responsive to my touches, e.g. GNOME. I'm on version: Mozilla Firefox 128.10.0esr.

Can anyone help me?

Using Google Voice became unusable. Firefox too slow. Had been running just fine up till maybe a month ago when I finally gave in and allowed Firefox to update. Not knowing if it was a Windows or other issue I stupidly did a Windows reset and lost all my installed programs (including Firefox). I did a fresh install of Firefox and manually reentered passwords and bookmarks.

Ran fine for a day or two and is now again unusable. Cleared cache and appears to work OK at the moment but still sluggish.

After half hour or so the browser for Youtube just hangs All the links are not connecting It shows up as arrow NOT hand It just hangs until you refresh the browser so you lose all the queues
