I noticed that the World Clock widget includes Pakistan Standard Time (PKT) but does not provide an option for Indian Standard Time (IST). This is surprising given that India has one of the world's largest internet user bases and a significantly larger population than many countries currently represented.

India operates on a unique UTC+5:30 time zone used by over 1.4 billion people, making it one of the most widely used time zones globally. The absence of IST while neighbouring time zones are available feels like a major oversight and reduces the usefulness of the widget for Indian users and anyone who regularly works with Indian colleagues, clients, friends, or family.

Please add Indian Standard Time (IST) to the World Clock widget as a standard option. Its inclusion would greatly improve the widgets global coverage and usability.

I have noticed that in versions of Firefox newer than ESR 115.7 (and early 120s in the main release channel) I get eye strain while using Firefox. This issue didn't happen with earlier versions of Firefox - at least since the Proton UI changeover. And this issue doesn't exist on other software on my system. I haven't changed my Firefox settings.

As a result of this I haven't been able to update my installation of Firefox. I'd like to try to track down what changed around that time and see if I can find a workaround or possibly submit a bug? Is anyone familiar with graphics related changes that occurred around that time? How might I go about figuring this out? I'd like to keep up with the new features and security updates.

Sometimes, when I want to use the Take a Screenshot function (on my toolbar) to save a long section of a page, after selecting what I want and scrolling down to the Download button, the process positions the page's floating 'identification' bar across the the middle of the picture. Is there a way to set a keyboard shortcut to trigger the download command after making the selection, without the need to scroll down to see the button? This would greatly simplify the process. In some limited searching and testing, I haven't found anything that accomplishes this.

I have attached a screenshot of a page to serve as an example of how the bar is superimposed.

FWIW, this system is still running Windows 7, Firefox 115.22.0 esr.

Doing a "find" ends up showing a greenish (so I'm told) background with white text. Want to guess which "find" in the attached image is difficult for me to find?

What I would like: Find (focus): yellow text on black background Find All: white text on black background

Yes, of course it would be nice if that would auto switch to black on yellow if the website default is black background.

I can hack userContent.css and get the selection function to work:

I can hack userContent.css and get the Find All (sans the focus) to work.

But firefox always provides the focus with white on green. Even if I do something like this:

I tried several themes. No change. I tried changing Windows Preferences. No change.

There must be a way to make this "find" feature useful for me.

Firefox is my default browser and I use Yahoo Mail. In the past, while writing an email, I would copy text from MS Word file (ctrl+C) and paste it (ctrl+V) in Yahoo Mail. These commands do not work anymore. Need a solution.

I have 2 instances of Firefox: I use stable for all my professional work, and I use Developer Edition (Aurora Channel) for personal things. The stable branch works fine. In Aurora though, certain key combos will not work. This even persists in troubleshooting (safe) mode.

Specifically, it seems anything using both ctrl+alt will not register alt, only ctrl. alt, alt+shift, and ctrl+shift all seem to work fine, but ctrl+alt and ctrl+alt+shift do not. Again, this works fine in stable, so I am clueless as to why it doesn't work in my other instance.

Another detail is that this happens on multiple websites, not just one. The post prominent one is Google Sheets. In sheets, you can insert the date using `ctrl+;`, the time using `ctrl+shift+;`, and both using `ctrl+alt+shift+;`. Inserting them separately works fine, but both causes only one to insert.

I cannot open the find on page toolbar. No matter if I use the ctr+f shortcut or click "find on page" in the menu, the toolbar with the text field doesn't come up. I checked and the shortcut works fine in other apps. I tried restarting firefox in the troubleshoot mode - the problem persists. I'm on the latest version of Firefox (138.0.1) and running Windows 11.

I can't turn off the "Find in Page" or ctrl f function in Firefox. Everytime I type something the bottom bar pops up making Firefox impossible to use. Can anyone help? I've been at this for 2 days now and I am forced to using MS Edge as browser.

I would like to be able to view the names of tabs and the address bar. I am able to adjust the page views and all is well there. I do not want to use stronger glasses just to view the tabs and address bar and then switch to another strength of reading glasses.

Why is my news feed nothing but left wing garbage, from Politico, NPR, CBS. ABC, NBC, MSNBC, to Time to Huff Post, there is nothing Center or Center Right, it is all Lame Stream Left Wing Garbage.

What's up with that? We need some ideological diversity, in other words not Group Think.

I want some Fox News, Breitbart, Daily Wire, Town Hall Media, etc., and to be balanced you can throw in your current biased feed too. At least then, I can read the issues from several points of view, which after all, that is what it is all about.

Otherwise just leave my news feed splash page empty, I am quite adept at using several news sources for m information on the news of the day.

Hi;

I'm using a Protonmail alias. When I copy my Hide-my-alias address in Protonmail using the Copy icon, the popup says Alias copied to clipboard it doesn't paste. Not sure if this is a Proton or FF issue. Looks like it's mot being copied.

I clicked on my new HideMyAddress alias address, clicked on my alias copy icon, says copied.

It won't paste into the address field of a new email. Clipboard History is enabled. I can paste any History entry but not the alias I copied using the copy link next to the alias link.

To copy it to clipboard, I have to :

Open all alias' Sign back into account Highlight the alias address, copy Then it will paste

Tested with Brave browser:

Logged into Proton.me Copied alias and pasted into new email To address, it works.
