Firefox has stopped printing webpages. I have done all the processes suggested on help and user pages. To be clear: - Same webpages print on my computer via Edge -All other programs print fine to any of my 3 printers on my home network and my printer at work. -There are no Error messages, I get the print preview, and I can alter any of the parameters there, I click Print and it closes the window, as it used to but it just never turns up at the printer. -I have tried the application menu, the Menu Bar (Filr, Print) and Ctrl P: All exactly the same. -I have removed and reinstalled ALL of my printers. My wife's computer has the exact same version of Firefox and has no problems whatsoever. Any thoughts, please?

Whenever I try to play videos on Firefox, the elements don't load right and no video will begin. On Youtube, this is usually either a blank page with no video element, or I get an error stating that the video can't be played. On Twitch, I get the streamer's default 'not streaming' message, even if they are live, and VODs don't work. I have several extensions to protect privacy and block ads, but even if they are all turned off I still have this problem. I've also tried turning my VPN off and on, and setting it to various different locations. Nothing works. I can watch videos on another browser without issue. I have a 1 Gbps line from Comcast. I have a new HP desktop PC, 32 GB Ram. Speed tests from several test sites confirm good line speed. When I sign in to my email provider using Firefox, the circle on the screen goes round and round for up to 20 seconds. Not so with MS Edge. When I select an image to view using Firefox, I can watch the screen being painted. Not so with MS Edge. I have had slow responses from several other websites. Comcast has come out to my house twice to verify line speed. No problems found. Firefox appears to be the bottleneck at this point. Please help.

Thanks..........Bob

I have just upgraded to Firefox version 123. Now whenever I start Firefox on any of my profiles, it will immediately or almost immediately display a "Welcome back" popup stating that "Here’s a quick reminder that you can keep your favorite indie browser just one click away." and provides a button to make the browser the default one. That's exceedingly annoying - I can understand that Firefox wants to notify my once in a while, but this happens at least once a day, probably more often than that. I looked over the source code and got that it is a "spotlight" feature, but I failed to find any settings that would turn it off. Any idea how can I disable this forever?

For the past week, when I sign into Facebook, the news feed is constantly refreshing itself. Once in a while the first post will stay, but the remainder of the news feed keeps refreshing. It is impossible to read anything as posts flash on and off, mostly off. The news feed is the only thing that is affected, visiting pages for likes and groups load and display properly, as do the games I play. The same occurs if in the private window mode. This does not happen if in the Chrome browser. What can be done to correct this situation?

I have used Firefox for 10 or 20 years and have not encountered this before.

New computer running Windows 11 Home. New Firefox install. If I am writing a message in any forum or social media site, and I need to look-up some info or the name of a place or product and I use another tab to do that, when I return to the original tab, Firefox reloads the entire page again instead of just returning me to the post that was being written without reloading the entire page. It can be a severe waste of time trying to find the post I was in the middle of once the entire tab reloads when the site is a busy place with lots of new and updated posts.

I've been through Firefox settings but did not see anything that seemed to be related to this issue, but perhaps the wording/description of the needed setting wasn't clear.

Hi,

My saved passwords are not showing up. I followed the advice on this post, by setting signon.debug and doing about:logins. Here are the errors shown in the console:

LoginManager: Getting a list of all logins asynchronously. LoginManager.sys.mjs:395:14 Login storage: Returning 502 logins for specified origin with options [object Object] storage-json.sys.mjs:704:10 Login crypto: Failed to decrypt cipher text of length 92 with error NS_ERROR_FAILURE. crypto-SDR.sys.mjs:179:12

   ->
   decrypt resource://gre/modules/crypto-SDR.sys.mjs:197
   decryptLogins resource://gre/modules/storage-json.sys.mjs:966
   map self-hosted:221
   #decryptLogins resource://gre/modules/storage-json.sys.mjs:948
   InterpretGeneratorResume self-hosted:1465
   AsyncFunctionNext self-hosted:852

Then that last mesage is repeated another 501 times.

Any idea what is wrong. I have only one profile the default one. Firefox is up to date at 122.0.1 on iMac 12.7.3

Thank you David

Is it possible to change Firefox's default keybinds? I don't see an option for this in Settings, nor in about:preferences or about:config. Some discussions on these forums suggest autoconfig.conf but that doesn't seem to have any options for keybinds. I found several KB articles on customizing Firefox, but none said anything about default keybinds:

KB: Customize Firefox controls, buttons and toolbars KB: Firefox advanced customization and configuration options KB: Customizing Firefox Using AutoConfig

For example, I'd like to change the keybind to open a private window from the default [Shift]+[Cmd]+P to [Shift]+[Cmd]+N. The latter is standard on most other browsers and is in my muscle memory. Is there any way to do that?
