Hi,

I use Firefox app in macos, android and ipados. The bookmarks across them are not synching automatically. I need to press sync manuelly to do. All apps are updated, all settings look fine. Please help me synch bookmarks across platforms. Thanks a lot.

Firefox will only start if I sign in as an administrator. It doesn't connect to the internet, and I can't get to the help screen. I did a refresh but that hasn't help. If I uninstall and then reinstall a new copy correct the problem? How do I save and reinstall my bookmarks and settings? I love Firefox and prefer it over other browsers. But I need to fix it and any help you provide will be very much appreciated. Thank you!

with this new version i lost everything i need to get back to an older version and get all my extentions my bookmarks back all my s desktop items that i had linked to firefox are gone i can no longer get face book or anything back to firefox book marks every thing i had with firefox

Since I upgraded to you, I am having trouble accessing important and medical info. I would like you to put every thing the way it was before. Easy access. You erraced some of my passwords, I want them back. I spend hours trying to find my info. I am 80 yrs old and do not need this aggravation. Thank you Moira

FF is offering up possible login names for a particular site I have used previously even though I have removed all related browsing history, form data, and cookies (and cleared the cache). What am I missing? Is it using stored history for unrelated sites to guess at a user name, or is there some other hidden history I need to clear?

Firefox opens with one empty tab. Forcing me to got to «history -> recently closed windows -> restore» everytime I quit Firefox or shutdown the mac.

I use Firefox on a Mac to access Brightspace for my classes. I also use Grammarly. When copying text from the Grammarly widgets and pasting it into the Brightspace HTML editor, the text is stripped of hard returns, causing paragraphs to collapse without any breaks between them.

I have tried pasting as unformatted text, and the issue persists. This issue does not occur in Chrome, so I suspect it is due to how Firefox handles clipboard data. I have not found a workaround or resolution for this.

Latest version of Firefox on macOS, Mac Mini M2 - 8 GB RAM and MacBook Air M3 - 16 GB RAM: Firefox malfunctions on launch - I have to force quit and relaunch it - Firefox starts to load then freezes. Firefox works, then I launch other applications like Chrome, Thunderbird, etc. Firefox freezes on the M2 8GB RAM but rarely on the M3 16GB. A few weeks ago, these problems didn't exist on either of my Macs - since an automatic update that I didn't notice, it's now a consistent occurrence.

A user I am servicing uses Firefox every day. They are on Windows 11. Every afternoon (sometimes at other times), Firefox stops working and loses its internet connection (everything else on their computer continues to be connected).  When they close and restart Firefox to reconnect, it then tells me the user that they are using an old profile and need to create a new one.  They're able to re-log into their Firefox account, which eventually resyncs all their data, but they then have to re-sign into everything, which is a major inconvenience.  The only workaround the I have found is to reinstall Firefox, ever time this happens which then allows the user to use all their settings until they have to repeat the process the next day (i.e., everything remains signed in and/or logging back in is easier than described above).

Thank you for the help! I'm wondering if other AI chatbots, Lumo, in particular, will continue to be added as options to the updated sidebar? An unofficial extension exists (https://codeberg.org/daskashk/lumo_ai_by_proton_chat_in_sidebar) that adds the ability for a link to appear in the sidebar. However, it does not offer the full integration that the official browser update provides to the other supported LLMs. I like Lumo for its privacy, encryption, and the ability to make "Projects." I started using a new laptop and when I receive emails through Outlook, the excel attachments won't open and I get a message saying that I don't have the pdf software. These are Excell files, not PDF. I've tried all the suggestions on-line but they still won't download as Excel files, only Firefox files.

Hi, I opened Firefox to continue with my work, just to get greeted with a 'start a new profile' page. All my profiles, saved data, history, add-ons and customization, were discconected/removed. Even on my phone it logged me out from my account- logging back in doesnt retrieve my history from my previous sessions on my desktop device.

I tried logging in to my account, checking if theres an 'old firefox' folder on my device or anything like that, but it did not retrieve any of my old data.

Just to clarify, I have not played around with my settings, left or deleted anything, so I really dont understand why I've just came back to nothing.

Was wondering why this happened, how do I know this won't happen in the future, and if, when possible, how can i get all my data back?

I noted, that credit cards autofill works, but on ~50% of websites it fails. I can see the autofill dropdown, but if I select any card, no fields are filled. Manual filling works. One of examples: https://ipn.paymentus.com, but there are many. Again, on some websites it works just fine.

Another issue - I cannot edit cards. Settings->Payment methods->Manage, then select a card, press "Edit" and nothing happens.

Context: version 148.0 (64-bit), Canonical snap build (crap, I cannot DISABLE snap build and totally switch to deb!!!)

P.S. I really miss feature to add "aliases" for cards...
