I use the Firefox Search bar a lot (the one that has a magnifying glass). The latest version of Firefox's Search bar seems different and the magnifying glass has been replaced by an icon of my default search engine. Although the old and new Search bar are very similar, the newer one has a larger font, and the search options on the drop down menu have a magnifying glass next to it. It also takes up more space on the browser (not as packed) which I don't like as much. Is there a way to revert to the previous version of the search bar? The first pic is the new search bar and the second is the older version.

The update works fine on Windows, but my extensions and the URL-bar are always visible on Mac, despite the URL-bar hiding on Windows, and the extensions moving to the sidepanel on Windows too. The update is kind of pointless, if I just end up having bars on both the side and the top.

I have some code in my .css file that had restored colored folders, a la pre version 89 AFAIR, for the folders on the bookmarks toolbar and in the bookmarks menus off the toolbar. It was working in V138.
I just upgraded to V139 and it's no longer working. I have the plain black/white wireframes back for the toolbar folders on the bookmarks menus.
The code I was using is below. I didn't write it and I confess that I only marginally understand it.
Can someone help me to regaining the colored folders? The white ones are a serious visual impairment for my brain. I need them to be more distinct from the menus themselves.

The slider (vertical scroller?) on the right side used to be constantly displayed; now it disappears until the cursor is on it. How can I make it stay displayed?
I've always kept my bookmarks open on the left side as I reference them frequently. Now they close when Firefox closes. I find this to be very irritating.
