Lately receiving annoying pop-ups from 123greetings that have nothing to do with greeting cards. Appear every time i turn on computer and on every site i engage. Says they are "via Firefox".Thats why im turning to you for help.I am not technically oriented, so stating the solution as simple as possible would be appreciated. (I had a 123greetings account, which I deleted in hopes of getting rid of them. No luck.) Thanks for your help.

PS-Recent scan from Malwarebytes suggested 2 pups??? but they were quarantined. Problem persists.

I am being inundated with alerts saying firefox has been compromised & viruses have been detected. They want me to click on various links which I won't do of course. I am about ready to uninstall Firefox altogether. Hate to do since I will lose everything. Please help!

I want to get rid of the "List all tabs" button that has appeared in Firefox 131.0! WTF are these cretinous devs thinking in not providing an option to delete this? One of the hallmarks of Firefox has always been customizability. Apparently, the devs need to be reminded of this! I hate this feature with a passion and want it gone NOW! It is a detestable eyesore on my, otherwise, pristine interface which constantly draws my eye and incites anger. Acceptable solutions include making it possible to drag it off the toolbar using the "customize toolbar" feature, allowing users to right click it and click "remove from toolbar", or allowing it to be removed using about:config.

Why would the devs alienate a significant portion of their user base by insisting that this be on the toolbar? Are they so out of touch? The devs need to wake the F up! Many users do not habitually keep a large number of tabs open and do not want or need this feature taking up real estate on the toolbar! Having options is a good thing. Making the "List all tabs" feature available to those who want it is commendable; shoving it down everyone’s throats whether they want it or not is deplorable.

Since version 122 there is a problem with installing the Szafir SDK Web extension. It is necessary to be able to submit signatures online. After installing version 121, I was able to add the extension. After updating Firefox to version 130, the Szafir SDK Web extension still works, wich is good. The problem is that not everyone will handle it this way.

I tried adding the extension manually, but the same message is always returned. "The add-on cannot be installed because it appears corrupted."

Is there any solution to this problem?

The YOROI extension (crypto wallet) used to work well on Firefox but it has stopped working on all our Mint 20.2 compuers and whatever we do we can't get it to work in Firefox. It works OK in Chrome - but I want to continue to use it in Firefox as I always used to. Could it be something to do with Firefox not supporting WebUSB? What can we do? Would a later version of Mint (say Mint 21) solve the problem? Thank you.

My computer just installed the new update and now I cannot access my passwords. It keeps saying I have to enter the master password, but it gives me no place to enter a password. When I click the "LogIn" button, the screen just blinks.

Everytime I open up firefox, I'm forced to sign into youtube.

1. After signing in, I get a youtube.com/oops error.
2. If I enter the url and navigate to youtube, I can click sign-in and it works normal.
3. If i exit firefox browser, I need to repeat the steps.

I've followed these directions with out any success: Type about:preferences#privacy<enter> in the address box. The button next to History, select Use Custom Settings.

Turn off Always Use Private Browsing Mode Turn on Remember My Browsing And Download History At the bottom of the page, turn on Clear History When Firefox Closes. At the far right, press the Settings button. Turn on ONLY Cache and Form And Search History leaving the others off.

• I've disabled and removed all extensions.
• I have browser privacy set to "standard protection".
• I've cleared everything and reset the browser. I've even manually deleted the cookies through the debugger.
• In debugger, I see cookie warnings for sameSite attribute but no errors or anything else.
• In debugger, I see the cookies are getting updated and changing with a year max-age for both youtube.com and accounts.youtube.com

My google account is fine and works across a PC and a MAC in chrome, no account or login issues. I do not have this issue with netflix, amazon, microsoft, reddit, etc. Google/youtube is the only site I'm having a this problem with. Everything else works fine.

See the attached. Usually when the process gets above 1gb I kill it, but I've watched it get over 7gb before. This is a terrible nuisance that other browsers handle with ease. Why does Firefox allow such selfishness through your browser? You have the ability to allow or disallow anything! Get on top of it! I used to be able to save bookmarks by selecting in a dropdown menu where I would like to to save the bookmark. I no longer see a dropdown menu when I go to save a page. It automatically saves the last folder used for bookmarks. It is a little confusing because I have to go search for the bookmark and move it into another folder. I don't know if this is due to an update or if I somehow changed the settings but really want to be able to select which folder I am saving my bookmarks to. Can I change this in the settings?

At some point in the last few weeks -- possibly after an upgrade -- I've noticed that some websites such as the Washington Post and Fidelity can take minutes rather than seconds to load. The problem doesn't seem to be with the sites themselves (because they load fine on Chrome) or with my hardware (because exactly the same thing happens on both of my computers). Has anyone else noticed this?

( I'm running Firefox 131.0.3 on Windows.)

Only way I can gain access is through my stand alone computer. I no longer have a hand-held computer. So can we work through our problem via my computer. Otherwise, I don't know what to do. Since the 132.02 certain eBay items will not display its shipping info. Only on Firefox. Its not addon because I disabled all and I have the same addons installed on edge and all good there, I can see the shipping info on edge. And its only about 50% of the items which is weird. I have done the basic troubleshooting and I have to think it was this update. If you see the images attached Shipping values should be displayed. Some have a $ value some say +shipping, those are not displaying the value. Please help me figure this out as I use Firefox ALL day but if this continues I HAVE to switch. Ebay is my main source of income now.

I have blocked all websites from accessing my geolocation by default in the privacy settings and there are no exceptions on the list.

And yet,

1) many websites I visit seem to have my geolocation, even though I have never shared any information with them

2) the last two suggestions on the first page when I search for anything are always linked to my location

How is this possible? How do I fix it?
