I have Windows 11 and the Firefox 124.0.2 browser. I cannot update to the latest version of Firefox. I receive an error message "Failed to update". I've uninstalled and reinstalled the browser, ran the install utility selecting update, nothing seems to work. Please help

Nothing happens when I press the play, like, dislike, notifications, favorite, or join server buttons. On top of this, when I try to open the catalogue it's just a grey screen with nothing in it. In the attached GIF I am clicking rapidly. I don't believe this is an issue with roblox itself, as when I open chrome everything works perfectly. The only extensions I am using for the site are RoPro and BTRoblox. I have tried to turn the extensions off and have even uninstalled them, however the problem was still not fixed.

Prior to update 125.0.1 corporate intranet users could download PDF files from our Line of Business applications / Webpages. Today after the latest update the PDF files download but are corrupted. The site was added to the trusted webpage without improvement.

Adobe Acrobat Reader could not open ********.pdf because it is either not a supported file or because the file has been damaged

Hello, When i create a new tab (cntrl + T) I can no longer just start typing and have that be a google search. Now I need to manually click in the search bar. Is there a way to enable it so creating a new tab automatically puts the text into the search bar field?

Not sure why this stopped working, maybe a recent update. Thanks for your help.

Picture-in-picture since recent YouTube update keeps closing. Is there way i could configure in about:config to never close and always stay open even if page refreshes and have it move the video play back always to the Picture-in-picture window ? If not could this be made a feature in a future update ?

YouTube especially been annoying to Firefox users, cos it keeps refreshing the whole page breaking stuff every time it plays the video, as well have issues with looping videos even tho they are already fully buffered, making entire YouTube experience as frustrating as possible as encouragement to switch to chrome, which i refuse for obvious reasons.

Anything i can do on my end ? If tested if this happens in incognito mode as well with all extensions disabled in private windows, no change of behavior.

Btw this happens on the new YouTube interface with no way to get back to the old interface, cos it keeps the annoying features of the old interface even if you try to re position stuff using hacky ways like extensions that do so, which of course break stuff even further. I just want Picture-in-picture to remain open, and to play current video in picture-in-picture that is playing automatically.

Btw the Picture-in-picture experience with chrome or chrome based browsers is absolutely horrible, giving me even more reasons to stay on Firefox besides privacy related issues and other issues.

I know that it is possible, cause, in the past, I had extension doing exactly that. When I click on an active tab, Firefox just minimized it and went back to the last one I was looking at. But it was for the old version of Firefox. It wasn't compatibile with the new ver of the brawser. Can anyone can help me find some extension doing that please?

I have been using Firefox as my primary browser for a very long time. Now, every time I start Firefox, I get a message that the update failed, and that I should manually download the update file and run it. I do so, the update appears to work, and Firefox behaves, until I stop it and restart again. Then I get the same message. I looked online - it appears that others have had this problem, but no clear solution. I am not willing to use Edge, but am beginning to wonder if it is time to leave Firefox. Hello, I'm using samsung odyssey g7 32' monitor connected to my laptop with a rtx 2060. The monitor is connected with a minidisplay port to display port cable. The problem doesn't occur on the laptop screen but it does on the samsung screen. The flickering stops when i make the window a little smaller. I am using KDE plasma 6.0.3 but the problem was also present when i was using Hyprland as my desktop enviroment. I tried troubleshoot mode but nothing changed. I am seeking help. Thanks.

I'm using the 'Simple Tab Groups' add-on on my Mac computer and am happy with it but I have one question. When I click on a web link in an email (I use the native Apple Mail), it of course takes me to my default browser which is Firefox, and then within Firefox to the simple tab group that I had open in Firefox before clicking the link. Logically I guess that's reasonable behavior but typically that's not necessarily what I want; I'd rather it open the web page in my 'main' tab group.

Is there a configuration option to say: "When clicking on a web link in an email, open to this xxxxxx default tab group"?

I cannot remove "Your browser is being managed by your organisation" and seems to be stopping the home settings saving. They simply revert back to the default (see image) when I restart Firefox. Not sure what is meant by "your organisation" as I am a personal user, not organisation. I'm the single user of the browser (e.g. just one user on my PC, which is me) and also Admisitrator. Hi I am a longtime user of your browser. I have version 124.0.2(64 bit) installed on three devices. First thing I do on opening it is to click on "about", which normally updates the browser, before I do any browsing. In the last three weeks, however, it has not updated on any of the three devices, rather, it says "Failed to check for updates". under Privacy and Security, I cannot find anything to do with saved payment methods or the checkbox to enable payment method auto-fill.
