Recently the reels in my Facebook newsfeed will be black and not play when clicked on. All workarounds have been tried. These included , Restart machine ( laptop Dell Lattitude E 5530)( I know, ancient. Windows 10) go to settings in Firefox, Privacy and Security then clear cookies and cache. This works, the reels play, until I visit another website, then the issue is back. Simply going to Settings and clearing does not work. The entire flow has to be redone. I had my Internet Security remote control and invesigate. Same thing. We uninstalled Firefox and reinstalled to no avail. Is there any fix for this? Thanks. I have an answer to a sent email to my firefox "relay" address and cannot find a way to retrieve it from that "relay" email. How do I access that generated email site?

Hello Since the last update I have not been able to sign in to Government sites using my bank as a sign in partner. I am able to sign in using Google Chrome but I prefer Firefox for my daily browser. I have cleared cache and all data and am still unable to sign in. I am using Version 137.0.1 (64-bit)

Your help will be appreciated.

Hi there! It started yesterday. I keep getting warning messages from Bitdefender that a connection Firefox was trying to establish was blocked. I will include a screenshot of the warning. I searched the link included in the warning and it comes up as a Firefox related link. I had six or seven of these warnings within the last 3 hours of using the computer and am concerned and irritated. Firefox is updated automatically on this computer and I think the last major change would have been the "cookie jar" thing(?). Obviously, the warning only says that the a certificate has expired. places.sqlite: this file records EVERY website I've ever visited in a db table! This despite opting out of History and flushing daily It's frustrating that FF surreptiously collects such personal info. Why record every site I visit, date-timestamps, frequency, etc.?

As test, I changed the name to places-sqlite.old to see if FF will create a new one It didn't make a new table; re-created the old one.

I need to update FF because of the expired certificates, but would like to clear these out first. Similarly, can I get rid of the icon database? My bookmarks are backed up as JSON and HTML files. I just wished they didn't contain extraneous info

Ok, there are a couple things that seem related and are worrying me.

First, every time lately that I have signed in to something new (new online account, FEMA, etc), when the little window pops up to ask if I want to save the log in info, it doesn't have the password I entered, but instead an immense string of characters (I'd say several hundred) AND I just saw this last time as I was erasing the password, that it actually looks like it might be a web address (I just briefly saw http:// before it was erased)

The next thing that has just happened today (Is black Friday now like solar flare ID theft Friday or something?!?!) is that when I tried to sign in to...I think it only happened on Amazon...when I clicked on the email/user box it took me to my saved passwords page. Every time. I couldn't even enter the log in because it would just go to passwords. That's really really worrisome.

And, then, the last thing that I haven't had a problem with so far since getting a new computer is every now and then my computer would all of a sudden just start doing things on it's own. I was logged in to an online store once that had my card saved and my computer just ordered everything in my cart. Once I was browsing on the library and it cancelled all the books I had on hold. I have video where it would just start entering random stuff in fields.

I have changed my keyboard and the keyboard I have now is wired.

Any ideas on what this might be? Or do I really have some serious bad guys out there messing with me?

i just want to know who is the company owned buy?
