Starting yesterday, the preview images in GIS has been looking off center in Firefox (see attached). If I switch to protection mode the image looks fine. If I open up in any other browser it looks fine as well. I have already cleared my web cache and cookies, refreshed Firefox and then reinstalled it, changed my screen resolution settings, and nothing seems to be fixing it. There's no apparent settings in Google itself to adjust the image...it just started doing that in Firefox out of nowhere.

This is related to: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1370409

I´ve found out, that this Workaround seems to no longer to work since Ver. 101.0.1 (last working Ver.)

This is especially regarding Downloads triggered out of the embedded PDF Viewer in Firefox, when You click on the "Download PDF" Symbol.

Until this Ver. You could still bring back the "Choose What you want to do with the file" Window if You set the mentioned about:config setting to false (linked thread above).

I see this actually as quite crucial and almost a bug, since You will have departments with Workflows build around this. - Thank You for any insight or help

I am pasting this video link first to show exactly is happening when I use Google Images Search results. https://youtu.be/HD-GPkORQPA

This happened suddenly. Everything was fine when I last used google image results, I was playing a game and when I alt+tabbed to search for something, this was happening. I have no idea what could have caused it since I didn't install any new extensions, CSS styles, programs in my PC nor any big changes that would give me an idea of where to start.

I already tried disabling all the extension and that didn't help at all. The only way I've managed to make this stop, was when I opened a private window. There the image search results were fine and I could zoom in, and out and no weird scrollbar issues were happening.

I went back to a normal window in Firefox, and noticed that if I log out from my Google account, this will also fix the issue. And when I logged back in, the issue was happening again.

Anyone have any idea why this would happen, and how I can fix it? Thank you!

I've tried all the modes like light, system etc nothing seems to fix it.

Am I going to need a stack of css code to fix it - code for each and everything I want to set back to light, or is there a setting to achieve this?

For maybe a month or two I have been seeing some strange behavior with Firefox closing after I close a downloaded file. Here are some examples.

Lets say I am checking my email (yahoo) and receive a video file attachment. I launch the attachment which is set ot download and automatically open my player, which is VLC. VLC launches and plays as normal. When I finish, I close VLC and find that a few seconds later my Firefox window or tab also closes.

This is not just with video files and not just from email. Same for doc files or pdf or jpg files. If it downloads and then I open it through Firefox, that tab closes once I close the third-party program.

I also tried turning off the auto-launch and just download the files, but if I start them form the downloads display in Firefox the same issue occurs. If I start explorer and browse to downloads and just launch it from there then there are no such issues.

I did notice that it only closes one tab, so if I have a dummy second tab, when the tab is closed I can use Ctrl+Shift+T to restore the previous window and continue, but it has gotten tedious to do that every time I download a file.

I did check that neither Chrome of Edge do not have such behavior.

System details. Firefox 103, Windows 10 21H2. No known major updates or changes have been made to the system to cause this change. The only extension I have is Ublock Origin, and I have tried disabling it but it did not help the problem.

my twitch tab stutters when i change from a different tab to the twitch tab. I don't have it everytime, it's really inconsistent. It appears that my video moves forward some seconds. Suggestions like in the link didn't helped for me.

I tried: - set media.suspend-bkgnd-video.enabled to false and restart -> didn't solve the issue -set media.suspend-bkgnd-video.enabled back to true and restart -> didn't solve the issue -set media.suspend-bkgnd-video.enabled to false set network.http.throttle.version to 1, restart,

set media.suspend-bkgnd-video.enabled to true again and restart -> nope

- set network.http.throttle.version to 0 and restart -> nope.

I'm really helpful for any ideas. Thanks in advance!

I am trying to print shipping labels from Amazon and a third-party web app running Firefox 103.0 64-bit.

Text prints just fine but images (barcodes, etc) that need to be scaled down do not do so causing them to be truncated on the page.

I have cleared print settings and tried two different printers to no avail. The documents/images print correctly from Chrome. I have tried using the system dialog to print but this also does not correct the issue.

Any help is greatly appreciated as I currently cannot use Firefox for the essential daily task of printing packing slip / mailing labels.

I would like to go back to the version that preceded this latest update please. It worked well. Please reply by email, [email-removed], because I can't read most of what's on the screen here. I hope someone pays attention to this, because otherwise I'll have to abandon Firefox, and it's been by far my preferred browser. Can't think what you've done to it. Your updates in the past all worked fine. I'm on a Lenovo ThinkPad S145 with Windows10.

Firefox version 103.0 causes Windows (intel HD) graphics driver to crash and restart repeatedly. Temporary fix = disable hardware acceleration in firefox. I had to force a shutdown by holding down the power button on my laptop to get out of this infinate loop. Mouse becomes unresponsive and does not appear or move after a few crash and restarts of graphics driver. One way to stop it early on is to close firefox by keep clicking the tab close x or top right firefox page close x. Problem only on one website that i listed below.

here is the windows events entry(i edited out my computer name)... website i loaded in firefox that gives me this problem... cams.omexxx.com (note it is a pron site). I did not even click aree to terms.

To troubleshoot i did the following... 1) opened command prompt with admin priveledges and ran sfc /scannow it found no errors. 2) i reset all kaspersky settings back to default. 3) I refreshed firefox back to default settings. my addons were deleted after doing so and i did not add them back. 4) i uninstalled the intel hd graphics driver from device manager 5) i reinstalled the intel hd graphics driver downloaded and hash checked today same version as old driver. 6) even after the above problem remains 7) I tried loading the website that gives me this problem in microsoft internet explorer and i did NOT get the problem. 8) Done some google research online and then i went to... firefox menu - tools - settings - general - Performance - this was selected so i unselected it = Use recommended performance settings i unselected this option = Use hardware acceleration when available 9) I went to the problem website and i no longer got the problem/bug so now i have a temporary workaround/solution.

Please investigate and fix this at your end if you can or find out what is going on. Think about turning off hardware acceleration by default in firefox as it is obviously bug prone. This problem only started in the last couple/few days. Did the website in question change something in the last days? before that i accessed it with no problems. Did firefox update recently? I had not changed my intel driver until i got this bug. I have other event viewer errors here is an example of one that may or may not be relevant that has appeared a lot lately (it states atal error)...

After updating to Firefox 103, everything in the browser including web pages, are way too big. Oversized. What the heck happened? Why do they do this? On the tool bar with the address field, on the right, I have a zoom icon, etc., and they're all much bigger!

I could adjust zoom, but this is not right. It's all messed up!

Yes I went into Customize Tool bar - Density - and it was already set to "compact - not supported"

I went into about: config - browser.display.os-zoom-behavior - changed to zero. Nothing happened.

I went into the windows settings - display - set to 125% which it always was. Changing to 100% didn't do anything. Went into display - Make display bigger - and it's 160, where I always had it.

Not happening in Chrome or Windows. So it's Firefox.
