I cannot get Firefox to go completely into full screen on Mac OS Catalina. When going full screen it will hide the Mac system menu bar at the top, but it will not hide the Firefox address bar. I've researched a bit and found some suggestions about settings in about:config pertaining to full screen access, and I've exhausted all of those suggestions. Is this a known issue on Mac with Firefox?

I just upgraded to Firefox 79.0, and now the scrollbars on outlook.com are narrow with no scroll buttons. I fixed this problem long ago by setting layout.css.scrollbar-width.enabled to false. It's still set, but now the scrollbars are back to being narrow.

I'm a dinosaur when it comes to the world of electronics primarily computers, so I will probably use the wrong term(s) when trying to describe what I'm looking for.

I was directed to Mozilla/Firefox several years ago by a computer repair person. I downloaded Firefox on my desktop tower computer. If I remember correctly the repair person referred to Firefox as a "browser". I was also directed to a "search engine" by the name of "Duck Duck Go". I was informed that these two (2) products worked well together. So I downloaded Firefox and Duck Duck Go on my desktop and they have worked well together. I now have noticed that Mozilla/Firefox are promoting Firefox as a search engine also and not really recommending Duck Duck Go anymore, by not mentioning it.
So here's my dilemma. Do I make sure that I have the most recent version of Firefox on my computer and if I do, then do I download Firefox as my new search engine? If I don't have the latest version of Firefox on my computer then I will download both new programs. Is changing the search engine to Firefox the best decision? I know, I know, I'm asking the Fox to guard the hen house, no pun

intended.

I need help restoring my passwords. I saw a suggestion to refresh Firefox, and so I did, thinking it wasn't more than disabling the add-ons. I didn't realize it would eliminate my logins and passwords. Can someone help me find them? Otherwise I'm in some trouble.

At https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/users/edit or https://accounts.firefox.com/settings I see no way to change my email address. It appears that the only choice is to add a new account, and optionally delete the old one. No. I want to change the email address, and still see my old posts after logging in with the new one. Is that not permitted? The only setting I see is Secondary email address. I want to change the primary.

Long-time FireFox user, since v1.5. Stayed on ESR releases for a while, but a couple of years ago switched to following the most recent versions. Currently on v82.0.3.

In May 2020, FireFox stopped recording visited sites. At the time (I keep a log of all SW updates) I was on v76.0.1. Last recorded browsing history is that of 15th May - see screenshot. My log shows that nothing relevant was installed/changed on that day, nor in preceding days.

So I have two questions. 1) any idea how this happened. 2) (More importantly) How should I go about re-enabling browsing history, whilst keeping all other aspects of my profile?

Thanks MV

If anyone is awake over there at Mozilla, then be aware that your damn account page password change button is NOT working, and I tried TWO browsers so it's definitely a problem with your own webpage. I've been trying to get this crap done for almost two goddamn hours and I can't change my friggin' password!!! Even tried calling your Mountain View office, but golly gee whiz, your voicemail is filled up and I couldn't leave a message. Tried finding an email address to contact you people directly, but gee whiz again, no email address to be found.

Your lack of direct communication options when it comes to something IMPORTANT like this, totally sucks ASS and there's no excuse for it.

Fix your goddamn site!!!!!!!
