I've been using firefox for last 15 years now to do my online banking with RBC. As of 2 weeks ago it has failed to open online banking on the RBC website. Google chrome however works. When speaking to RBC customer support they say it is a problem with firefox and will likely go away once firefox updates to a newer version.

Hope you can help with this issue since my browser of choice is firefox. Thanks

I was having issues playing videos. All I would get was a black screen, but I could hear the audio. Although some videos, like facebook shorts, played just fine. And I could view videos in other browsers. Tried several things I saw suggested on threads having the same issues, but ultimately I uninstalled firefox and then reinstalled it and it seemed to have fixed the issue. Hopefully this helps others having the same issue. I tried to suggest it on a few of those threads but they were locked.

I got this message today.... 'I then attempted to start Firefox, getting the error, "The code execution cannot proceed because VCRUNTIME140_1.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem."'

I attempted to reinstall Firefox and am still getting this message. How do I fix this?

I am on Windows 10. I just updated my Firefox web browser and it send me an error message: "XUL Runner, Error, Platform Version 113.0.2 not compatible with min version equal or greater or lesser than 113.0.1. IS this a problem and what is the solution?? Bob Krause

Hello, I'm looking for help with these crashes, it happens from twitter to Youtube and Facebook; I've tried with Troubleshoot Mode and still happens, I've erased cookies and didn't work.

For approximately three days now, I can't play any YouTube videos. I just get the spinning icon and suggestion to restart but it never resolves. I have tried a couple things but am currently not all that savvy and just want them to work! They will play fine in Opera, but I hate switching browsers just for that site.

With update 113.0.2 I am seeing 13 processes running using 670mb of memory with no add-ons running and the support tab open. The browser starts crashing with six or seven tabs open.

'Still having scrolling issues on facebook, where scrolling will jump forward, has this been fixed yet or what's happening? this has happened ever since i installed Firefox, on a fresh install or windows 11 Pro, it's very annoying.'

sign in to email and box appears saying 'Stay signed in so you don't have to sign again' - 3 boxes 'YES" "NO" "DON'T SHOW THIS AGAIN" tick any box and no change next time

The last day or two, I notice that once I have multiple tabs open in firefox, I cannot move/drag them around anymore in the tab bar, changing their order.

To date, I have restarted windows, restarted firefox, made sure both Windows AND Firefox are fully up to date (On a PC), and I have even tried starting FireFox in safe mode- I still cannot drag tabs.

Every time I try to login to a different page my firefox crashes.

I also did get the attached message, wasn't forsure if this was apart of the issue?

I have tried to dump the preferences, clear cache, restart, clear history.

Running Firefox 102.11.0esr on Debian 11 desktop

Firefox is very, very slow in responding to the cursor which doesn't show up as an arrow initially (as it normally would) - so if I point at Reply (for example), normally the cursor would be an arrow, the Reply box would turn yellow and I would click which would activate the command. At the moment there is no arrow, the Reply box stays grey and nothing happens if I click the mouse button. Eventually though after about two minutes the action is done. This is happening with any command in Firefox, e.g. trying to delete text in a draft message or trying to open an email in my inbox etc. etc. - all of it is the same as above and takes about two minutes to happen.

Hey, for a while now my firefox has been having a this problem, that I have not been able to fix. No matter when it is closed or opened, it opens random links that are usually very long and never load. I installed a plugin to at least somewhat block them but they keep poping up. It doesn't seem to be connected to any keys on my keyboard, since it opens at random times without me doing anything. I have no idea what the problem is and I have tried many things to fix this:

-Reinstalling firefox -Deleting all the cookies -Using the problem-fix-opinion in my settings to clear any keybinds that could be causing this

yet nothing seems to help.

I want to attach a file and I click on a button (everything works perfectly on Chrome). When I click, in the console I get this error:

Of course, nothing happens when I click. I have Ubuntu 22.04 and apparently Firefox in installed with snap, and I have this problem since snap is used to install Firefox.

This message is the last I'm writing before I definitely move to Chrome. I hope I'll get the help I couldn't find on other places (I saw a lot of answers telling to deactivate snap, adding a ppa or some solutions like these).

Whenever I try to download a file from google drive, I get: "The page isn’t redirecting properly An error occurred during a connection to drive.google.com. This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies."

Downloading google docs files from drive works fine, they convert to word and save to my downloads like normal. But downloading image files or pdfs yields this error. Right-clicking and downloading them from the folder view just does nothing. There is no difference between shared files and my own drive files. This error only happens in firefox, I can download files on microsoft edge just fine.

This has been happening for a few weeks now. Things I've tried:

-clearing cookies and cache -restarting firefox, restarting computer -checking for updates and updating firefox -disabling all my add-ons -clearing startup cache -adding drive.google.com and google.com to the exceptions for enhanced tracking protection -switching from standard to custom and unchecking cookies from the list of trackers and scripts to block, then clearing all cookies and cache -attempting to download in firefox troubleshoot mode -attempting to download in incognito mode -refreshing firefox -re-installing firefox by following the steps here: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1233618 -turned off real-time protection on computer antivirus (default for windows 10) -turned off microsoft defender firewall

I don't even know what else I can try. I assume it's a firefox error because this only happens using firefox on my laptop - I use firefox mobile and can download the same files on my phone. Does anyone have any advice?
