I cleared out my History, Form, cookies, and cache a week ago and ever since I have one webpage, and ONLY one, that simply keeps giving me this error:
The connection has timed out
The server at www.consumercellular.com is taking too long to respond.
The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few moments. If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer’s network connection. If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.
Now, the site simply can't be temporarily unavailable for over a week, especially since I have no trouble opening and logging into it using the Chrome browser on my tablet. However, even IE on my desktop gets this same message. As mentioned earlier in this message this is the only webpage that does this. All of my other ones work just fine and dandy. And I know it's not my firewall, since even with it turned off I get the same thing. Now, I really need to be able to access that website so if anyone can help me get this cleared up I would appreciate it. Just know that I'm not the most computer literate person around so any explanations need to be easy to follow!

Installing firefox version 68 with msi package doesn't ask me for install folder and insist on installing into C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox I removed permission to that folder and installer silently closed without installing anything except littering my taskbar with a useless icon "which I always removed it immediately"
How to tell Firefox that I want to install in a different folder?

This morning a significant number of my installed addons failed their signature test. Among these addons were uBlock Origin, Honey, Tampermonkey and Reddit Enhancement Suite. All of these addons are well known, so why have their signature tests failed? Furthermore, I seem completely unable to reinstall these extensions, despite them being available on the addon store.
The real problem is this: Why was this failure instant? This is unacceptable behaviour, a cooldown period needs to be available to allow someone to prepare a solution. I.E - a warning that "x addon does not meet standards and will be disabled in x days". Simply halting those addons and telling the end user after the fact is poor, poor behaviour - and was why I moved from Chrome to Firefox in the first place.
Furthermore, why is no workaround available on the stable channel? I'm astounded that a UX design this poor is a product of Mozilla.

Why native API? Because when there's a new web push notification and user misses it, there's no way to find out what it was. Using OS's native API will allow the notification to be kept in Notification Panel unit users sees it and dismiss it.
I believe Linux too have some sort of native notification APIs too.
It'd be really awesome to have native notifications support on operating systems which now have pretty good notifications APIs.

The title is pretty descriptive of the issue.
I have been trying to migrate older computer users over to Linux and have found a number of unusual problems.
One of them is that Firefox for Linux seems to lack a feature that exists on Windows: when you open the file upload window, there is no ability to search for the file you want. Instead you have to already know where/what it is, something that can be problematic at times.
Is this a known issue?
I can't speak for all distros, but at least on Kubuntu it is an issue.

I have emptied cache etc etc etc, No viruses etc etc, Not caused by an add on....
And no, I dont want to do the 'reset' thing. (Why should I have to spend time every few weeks resetting all my Firefox preferences? This is a long standing BUG with firefox. Other browsers dont do this!)
How fix it? It seems to me that someone at Mozilla needs to address this bug. It's been around for a few years now.

Firefox doesn't sync automatically. This is on a Windows 10 computer; it doesn't happen on two other Windows 10 computers nor on my Android phone. Under Tools, instead of "Sync Now" it says "Sign In To Sync." After I hit the sign in button, it does so automatically, and syncing begins again. But after I shut down the browser, the next time I start it it goes back to not being signed in.

I would like to print all pages, but with an offset to this page number.
So instead of the first page having a 1 on the header, second page having a 2, etc., it should have first page with 23, second page 24, etc.

After Firefox version 61.0.2, there is no description field. I use the description field to keep notes about websites, it is very valuable in fact critical to have and I can't use Firefox effectively without it; therefore have turned off updates. I have read the "fixes" but downloading bookmarks and keeping them separate from the browser is just not practical. I have been a Firefox user for many years and it has been great, much better than alternatives, however if the description field is not returned in a future update I shall be forced to use other browser. When will the description field be returned to Firefox bookmarks?

I was browsing and then I click on private window and quickly moved to the non private window and close it. This always crashes my Firefox and sometimes I lost data (addons prefernces or configs, and saved logins). Now this time I lost all my saved logins and it dones't prompt or ask to save the log in from SoundCloud. The exception list is empty. I'ts really bugging to type in the log in data everytime.
I already tried with safe mode and deleting all the cache.
Any help would be apppreciated.
Thanks.

hello,
I noticed recently that there are multiple instances of firefox.exe running in task manager, at the moment I have 7 tabs open in firefox and there are 7 instances in task manager. I tried going to 'about:config' and setting 'browser.tabs.remote.autostart.2' to false but this didn't make any difference. I had some problems with firefox crashing often, and was worried that there might be a problem
Any advice appreciated
