Sorry, but this is a repeat of an old problem, with a new glitch.

This is the text of the old question: "When I connect to homedepot.com, after a minute or so, I lose my DSL connection (red light on modem). This ALWAYS happens on that web site and ONLY on that web site. What the hell? It does not happen with (ugh) internet explorer. I am using Firefox 54.0.1 64-bit on Windows 7, SP1."

I have updated to the latest Firefox, and still have the problem on the computer.

I also use Firefox on my Android phone. Today, I connected to homedepot.com using the phone through my wi-fi router. The modem crashed. After reconnecting, I connected to the same site - again through my wi-fi router - using Chrome on my phone, and there was no problem. So it isn't the computer's OS, as was suggested. I have been using Firefox since version 1.0 and have never had any serious - or strange - problems. Hate to give up on it. Any ideas?

The site is from a major bank in the UK, so the idea that it is duff is rather far-fetched. It worked fine until I installed Firefox ESR 60.0.2. It has a valid certificate "Verified by: Digicert Inc.". What really irks me is that I DO KNOW BETTER than the blocking software, and some arrogant idiot has set up code that is preventing me from posting it as an exception until you get the Firefox problem fixed. And NO, it is not anything to do with antivirus or malware, as I have not changed any of these things, and have run checks often.

Try testing that website BEFORE you give any kiss-off answer!

And especially, DON'T BLOCK stuff unconditionally: the user should always be allowed to override that.

I have repeatedly asked this question from Firefox version 53 through Firefox version 60, and have not received help from this forum. Why will FNC embedded video player not work on FF. Error 2 is always displayed.

After uptating firefox to 60.0.2 extensions (this is only one example https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/sozluk ) not working on local pdf files. Before that update there was not any problem.

in the old days there was exacly the same problem but it has fixed. and today we have the same problem again.

I tried uninstall firefox and reinstall with sync and non-snyc but the problem continues. macos 10.13.4, firefox 60.0.2

I've tried updating firefox from firefox, and I've tried downloading the latest version in Chrome, IE, and Firefox. In all cases, when I click on the Download link, I get to a page that says something like the following. Can you help me get the latest version?

I have tried turning off addons, tried safe mode, no change. Previously everything was fine till update.

Now, videos like on youtube run at a very low framerate, animated icons just crawl, countdowns that should be one per second are running at one per 5 seconds, everything that should be moving is very slow. Browsing to new pages is fine. Have tried some of the suggested changes to settings, nothing helps.

I am accustomed to using an app to restore previous sessions. But now that app is in progress reconstructing. So I thought there was a system restore button somewhere, but cannot now find it.

Various instructions in Mozilla Support refer to clicking on the FireFox button (three lines) it will be the fourth item down. No joy.

Did they get rid of it?

I only have this problem on firefox. On chrome all livestreams are fine, but on firefox there is this crackling noise that is driving me crazy. Everytime i have to open chrome and firefox just for a music livestream. I've already tried everything but the issue is still here. Can someone help me solve this?

There are too many language packs (maybe all) installed on one of my profiles. Why or how that happened? How can I remove all of them except the one I use without having to click like 100 time on the Remove button? Also on another profile there are only two language packs, but they could not be verified for use in Firefox, and I don't see an option to remove or to update them, only the option of disabling them. What's going on here?

I had a MAJOR crash of my computer caused by a Windows Update. When I got the machine back, my bookmarks were gone. I tried to import them from an HTML file that was created just prior to the crash, but Firefox is not importing the bookmark file. I select the file, and nothing happens.

Where to from here??

When the latest update came through my PDFs stopped opening in FOXIT and started to automatically download. I have tried every option available for PDF files in the menu but they always download. The options widows does show that something else is selected but the files still downloads.

I'm not sure if this is my Firefox acting up, or just the aftermath of Utorrent installing Web Companion, restoring sessions in Firefox hasn't been possible. Firefox does remember my history, but it shows no options for restoring session or restoring tabs. I've already done a refresh, I've deleted web companion and run CCleaner and Malwarebytes Adwcleaner and they show my system is clean, but I still can't get restore sessions to work.

What's going on, and how can I fix this?

I am done with Google and their shenanigans so i decided to move back to firefox. When i imported my list of bookmarks; the bookmarks have a globe beside the label in the toolbar under address bar. How can i easily get the icons to show up for the different sites...Like reddit used to have the red reddit logo as the icon.

Every time I restart Firefox browser, It's like Firefox goes back to a "saved" state I can't break.

If I re-arrange bookmarks, they will revert back to the "saved state".

Also I have Gmail pinned, and it always starts up with the same mail open, that I've delete numerous times.

I've just freshly installed my PC on a new HDD (also had issue on "old" HDD), and I'm experiencing the issue in both cases.

I'm using Firefox Sync and have version 60.0.2 64 bit version of Firefox on a fully updated Windows 10.

I've also tried froce syncing Firefox Sync after I've made the changes I want, but with same result.

Can anyone direct me to what could be wrong?

FF60.0.2 64 bit but not 60.0.1 on Win7 Lattitude E5250 128G SSD with many windows open some with few tabs some with very many tabs is now paging so furiously (80+MB/S) that typing in Yahoo mail is shown 5 to 10 seconds behind keystrokes. I did the FF update yesterday, have been fighting this ever since, have closed very many tabs some windows and have combined tabs of windows with few tabs. Nothing helps. Typing and reflection is faster here (IE) unless I switch window then return, but that reflects lack of javascript character analysis I think; however, scrolling is very slow on this screen.

Can I roll back to 60.0.1? If so, how do I get to 60.0.1 64-bit exe?

tried windows help(ORDEAL) gave up! So not sure this is FF issue or not but u have always been helpful in past. I would like 2 copy 5 , 6 ,8,10 items in copy from the mouse(no keyboard here) and then proceed to paste them in different places. Is this possible?
