Since windows 10 updated on 5/6/17 to include the creator tools, Firefox has been opening a new tab containing advertisements for addons. Nothing else, just addons. It happens roughly 75% of the time that I interact with anything on a web page. I've tried using firefox safe mode and it is still continuing. My windows defender did not detect any viruses on its quick scan, though I am in progress of running a full scan. If this comes up negative, what else can I do? This is getting really irritating and concerning. Its like the popup blocker is no longer catching all of them. and there are way more than there should be. It doesn't matter where I go, this happens. It actually happened when I clicked in this text box.
