When checking bus times at my local stop on the Transport for London website and selecting "map view", I get a useless outline view of the whole of London if I use Firefox, but the correct local map showing the exact location of the relevant stop if I use IE.

FF is set to allow popups and cookies for tfl.gov.uk, but not third-party cookies. Adblocker is turned off for TfL, and Adobe Flash is allowed. I have emptied my cache and deleted the Transport for London cookies. I'd rather not delete all history. I use BetterPrivacy and deskcut.

This is FF 49.0.1 running on a Dell desktop machine with Windows 7Pro, 64-bit. FF is 64-bit, but I had the same issue with 32-bit FF.

Oddly, my wife's laptop with the same FF version and all the same settings displays the local map correctly.

Running Firefox 49.0.2 on W7 Home Premium 64 bit. This week I accepted a Firefox update, not sure of the number. Since then I have had various browser issues, including multiple loadings of tabbed sites and intermittent lack of response to input- dialog boxes, etc. Also some sites, Amazon for one, seem to load only with difficulty. Anyone else have these issues?

when searching on ebay the results pop up briefly and the the page goes blank. I think it is moving to advance search results but not sure. This does not happen using other browsers and only started with Firefox recently.

A few weeks ago, I noticed that I couldn't view anything with the Flash Player, despite Flash being installed on my computer. I reinstalled Flash twice and nothing changed. I even uninstalled/reinstalled FIrefox and the problem still persists!

When I sign in to Firefox I get a message stating "Adobe Flash Player' or 'Shockwave Flash' have stopped working. I didn't have this problem prior to the latest update (Firefox Version 49.0) and I don't have this problem using other browsers

I had to reset Firefox the other day, and after restart I immediately notice that ALWAYS ASK for download location was no longer working, despite basic settings. After playing around with this for a few days, I noticed a similar post concerning ALWAYS ASK in connection with Downloadthemall. So, I added this add-on, and things went back to normal and the download box is now the FULL download box. However, if I disable Downloadthemall, ALWAYS ASK no longer works again, and same thing if I start in SAFE MODE, it no longer works. So, although I have found a temp patch for this problem (as long as this add-on is enabled), something is still wrong, as ALWAYS ASK, one would think, should still work in both safe and normal modes, without this add-on, right? Any help would be appreciated.

Ever since downloading Firefox onto this computer with Windows 7 certain websites just don't display correctly. Autotrader doesn't display link-images and some other NSFW websites aren't working correctly including error messages and just sometimes not loading the video plugin. I want to figure out the problem but I'm afraid I'm completely inept when it comes to solving a problem beyond "disable all the add ons". I've also compared the issues with my other computer that also has firefox and it does not have the problems this one does (but that one has a very slow firefox, for an unknown reason). I'm just really sick and tired of things not working on this computer only and for no obvious reason at all. Please note that the 2nd image shows Autotrader not responding to an "input" that the user (me) makes, specifically the changing the Make should load/reload the list of "Models". And the 3rd image shows a website not correctly displaying a setting confirmation message but instead displaying an error message.

I tried to refresh firefox to fix this problem...this message has appeared in the past but was fixed by simply refreshing the page. This is the message I'm seeing: If you're seeing this message, it means we're having trouble loading external resources for Khan Academy.

If you're behind a web filter, please make sure that the domains *.kastatic.org and *.kasandbox.org are unblocked.

Where are the web filters at, how do I unblock the domain if this is truly the issue? Any feed back is very mych appreciated, Thank you.

Can I please ask when just receiving your updates --> then why did all past Firefox screen indexes unfortunately not returning. I have saved few upon the Toolbar, but the remainder not. So can I personally please ask where I can found & include again my past Website pages (that I've included within Firefox over many previous months)? Thank you sincerely, Shawn Delmar

I have shortcuts for 6 websites "saved" in my taskbar as I visit these websites very often (please see 1st screen shot). Ever since the last Mozilla update, I get a message saying "File Download - Security Warning" (please see screen shot with warning message). If I click on "Open" in the warning box, it takes me to the website, however, it's quite annoying to have to click "Open" every time. I tried re-saving the shortcuts to my taskbar with no success. I also copied the shortcuts from my taskbar and pasted them on my desktop. When I click on the copy/pasted shortcut on my desktop, I am taken directly to the website with no security warning. I have not changed any security settings before/after the last Mozilla update. I would appreciate any suggestions on how to keep my website shortcuts in my taskbar without receiving the security warning message. Thanks!

Programming in PHP. kind of a form (actually it is not a form but it uses form elements - js is used to submit.) When submitting, data is stored in session variable, and the page is reloaded, same form is shown, with data modified (formattet different). This shows data the way the user typed them - not the way PHP formats them.

And yes, I have verified, with a different display section, that PHP is actually doing what it's supposed to - but firefox does not display data in input lines, the way they are programmed - they do not display the programmed value, but the value the user typed last time.

Likewise the web tool, does not show the actual sourcecode, but a modified version of it. Selecting "View Source" does not give the same source as "Inspect element"....

hi, I have raised a query on selenium ide, for which i have received two answers. I could not solve the problem with those answers. But to my surprise, when i click this does not solve my problem tab, i get page not found error. Does that mean that the question has been removed by the so called administrator. It was not informed to me. Could not i access the question in running... What is the matter. Even this question could be removed, by him or somebody without the knowledge.can i expect a fair reply to the questions posted to support forum

Version 49.0.2 has been an emphatic confirmation that I should never update working software on my system. Against my usual rule, I chose to update to 47.0.2 (from 47.0.1) and got 49.0.2 instead (I've already read about that). First problem was that when I ran the downloaded stub, the install did not start. Many attempts, still no start. So then I located the Firefox setup file that was created when I ran the stub, and ran that to complete the installation. Now, when I start Firefox from the start menu, it goes to a blank "about" page instead of my previously set up home page, and then goes into a catatonic state (ergo, it stops responding). After much researching on the Mozilla support site, I learned that I could start it in safe mode to troubleshoot. And Voila! Starting in safe mode comes up and opens on my designated home page. Also, new tabs have all of my pinned sites. But now I am stuck trying to figure out what is causing the problem in regular mode. I would just run in safe mode but that has other side effects (such as not starting the Audible Download Manager when I select to download an audiobook). On the Add-Ons page, I have disabled Shockwave Flash because it was constantly crashing in version 47.0.1, and thus seemed a likely suspect for the problem. but that did not resolve my issue. What else might be causing this? I am running Windows 8.1, and have the following Add-Ons (with current version and status): OpenH264 Video Codec provided by Cisco Systems, Inc. Help! Someone please!

Hi. Been having an issue with Firefox this last week (though it's happened before, just not to this extent) in that's it's being incredibly slow and moves at the pace of a snail. To give some examples, when I try type (like right now) there's a delay for the words to show up instead of popping up as I type. Another is the browser seems to freeze up for a couple seconds when I try and scroll up or down, before doing at an quick and uneven pace.

I'm uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox (reinserting my profile after doing so), disable all themes, plugins and add-ons, restarted Firefox in safe mode, and none of these have made a positive difference (in some cases it actually made it worse).

Any way of fixing this? I've been using Firefox for years now and I don't relish the idea of having to transition to another browser if hte problem could just be solved on its own.

Every time I try to get to any page that uses Adobe Flash, I get the error message. I use three different computers and it does it on all of them, but only in Firefox. It is really annoying and I have tried all of the suggestions on your support page: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/adobe-flash-plugin-has-crashed

How do I find out what is going on to make it STOP?

After installing KAV 2017 Firefox blocks many sites by unknown reasons, e.g. "your connection is not secure. The ownere of mykaspersky.comhas configured their website improperly. To protect your information from being stolen, Firefox has not connected to this website. The site uses HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS) to specify that Firefox may only connect to it securely. As a result, it is not possible to add an exception for this certificate." This happens with many other websites, e.g. Visa, Amex etc. Absolute nonsens. Solution known ?

Hi, I've always been using Firefox as a preferred browser. I recently got a new laptop with WIN10. Firefox has been unbearably slow in WIN10. Loading Google home URL (search screen) takes about 50 seconds; Yahoo home URL about 4 minutes. I tried just about everything that have been suggested by Firefox Help to address this issue including re-install; reset; safe mode just to name a few - to no avail. I then tried Internet Explorer to load same Google and Yahoo home URLs. They took less than 1 second and about 5 seconds respectively. I turned on Windows task manager and observed Wifi network throughput while accessing these URLs. I noted when I was running Firefox transfer rate rate ranged 30 kbps - 500 kbps (average around 100 kbps); while IE transfer rate ranged 100 kbps to 4.5 mbps. Being a new PC I have no Extensions nor any active Plugins. Does anyone have any idea idea what's happening, and help resolve this issue please. Thanks.
