When I click the 'return to home page' button, only 'http://' shows in the address bar (the rest was accidentally deleted) and an 'Invalid address' alert shows. I've tried entering the address that shows when the mouse hovers over the button and then it works of course. When I use the button again, I get the same alert and a new 'http://' tab appears.

Hello, I have been using Firefox off and on for the last year or so, and there's one thing that always gets me to stop using it, whenever I download a file I cant see the file size of it in the "Save As" dialog, Internet Explorer and Opera has this feature and it's one of the things that I really need, I have tried that extension that does this (I forget the name of it), but unfortunately it is not for Firefox 4 :(

Thanks you for your help :)

I unintentionally clicked the 'Do this always for these types of files' in the downloads window when it would pop up. But now I want to edit those settings - instead of always saving, I'd like the download button to just open the file instead. I can't figure out how to edit that default 'Do this always for these types of files' settings - please help!

How to get old awesomebar behaviour back in firefox 4 ?

Before Firefox 4, when typing (part of) the name of most popular websites in the address bar, it would automatically direct to these sites through some clever selective use of the Google 'feeling lucky' search. For example, typing 'firefox' and hitting enter would automatically take me to the Firefox page on the Mozilla website.

It seems that the default behaviour in Firefox 4 has changed to simply performing a Google keyword search like in most other browsers.

I don't think there's any option to change the default behaviour, but I'm guessing there's some configuration line that can be adjusted to mimic it. But which one ?

I upgraded from FF 3.6.15 to FF 4. It says it's "up to date", but it's exactly the same (except many of my addons not working, which was to be expected). Tabs are in the same place, there's no new button to consolidate the menu bar, there's no new nothing! I've tried upgrading 5 times now, with the same result (even restarted the computer each time). I use WinXP, sp3.
