For the last few weeks I have been unable to save new bookmarks into the folder of my choice. Instead I can only save new bookmarks into the last folder I created. I cannot navigate to a different pre-existing folder. This problem only occurs when using Firefox on my Android cell phone, but not on my PC. However, I can still view and use all of my previous folders and bookmarks when wishing to open a new website, per usual. Thank you

I have Firefox installed on three Windows Desktop Computers. On one, I just cannot delete Bookmarks, no matter what suggestions I try. Verify Integrity of the database produced no results. I do not, for a variety of reasons, sync bookmarks (or anything else) between the three installations. Experienced user that has spent far too long on what should be a simple issue.

Just as the summary says, Used to have an icon that I put under the "hamburger" menu on the bookmarks toolbar that opened the bookmarks menu. Can't remember how I got it there. Can someone help me get it back.

Hello, any best practices for converting Firefox bookmarks once they're exported? The exported_bookmarks.html are an html file which are impossible to edit. Converting so the data for folders, titles and urls can be edited is what's needed.

I tried Vi with some Regex code, however the cleaned file is not so clean.

my bookmark bar disappered suddenly and all my tabs are gone. i tried to bookmark a new tab but it would not let me. and i didnt do anything different. opened my laptop today and i had to restore all tabs, and my bookmark bar is gone and all my shortcuts from bookmarks are gone too

Hello. I haven't been able to find anything of the sort on my own, so i fear maybe there is no actual way other than doing it one by one. But, is there a way to add all of my currently open tabs in firefox android app, to my bookmarks (or collections, maybe), instead of having to select them one by one? Or, in its defect, a way to select all tabs, given that there seems to be no button to quickly select all currently open tabs? At this point, if anyone knows a firefox extension/add-on that works on mobile that could do that, i would deeply appreciate it.

Thanks in advance, i just want a way to not have to select my 100+ open tabs by hand since it genuinely seems like a waste of effort for me and i would rather spend that energy into migrating to another browser altoghether.

To eliminate multiple problems (including disappearance of bookmarks) in desperation I uninstalled and cleared out all remnants of FF, then installed a new FF. Fortunately I had recently imported all the stuff FF more recently lost into MS Edge so I used the FF feature to import from MS Edge. However, every effort to import my bookmarks failed. So I used MS Edge's ability to create a HTML file of my bookmarks and then in FF used the "import a HTML file" feature to get them into FF. However, FF fails to recognize my bookmarks as bookmarks. It lists them in a "Favorites Bar" which cannot be strewn horizontally across the top of my screen as did my bookmarks in the past nor be viewed as bookmarks.

So HOW can I get FF to change the "Favorites" into Bookmarks?

For about a month I've had to use Chrome because my bookmarks scramble or become unoperatable, then about 4 days ago they started saving again & all bookmarks worked fine. This lasted about 3 days then went back to becoming dead or wrong (may all say 1 or 2) sites I visit. a restart may lose any new bookmarks, & the rest of my bookmarks are either wrong site or dead links. How do I correct? I have tried new downloads & the new Firefox acts just like the messed up version. Probably a simple setting but I give up, can't find the solution. Any help appreciated. You have my permission to change any setting needed to fix Bookmarks. Thanks, James

I have organized my bookmarks into various directories & sub-directories. On occasion, these directories &/or sub-directories 'migrate' if I'm not precise with my cursor movements. Is there a search function I can use without having to go through each directory/sub-directory one-by-one?

Unable to open bookmarks list. It has very important websites that I use and need daily; earthlink webmail, bank account, daily weather. Unfortunately, I am not computer literate. I feel totally helpless.

Depuis quelques temps, je n'arrive plus à enregistrer les pages internet dans mes favoris. "L'étoile" réagit au passage de la souris mais ne se colore plus en bleu comme avant.

J'ai toujours accès à ma liste déjà enregistrer, je peux les ouvrir mais je ne peux pas supprimer les marque-pages non plus.

Sous Win 10, j'ai bien vérifier que Firefox était bien à jour.
