I recently updated Firefox on my computer. After that, I can't find my old Bookmarks.

Also I find that I am UNABLE to add any new Bookmark. When I click on the 'Star' in the browser toolbar, there is nothing. Before I used to Get the Add Bookmark tab and a place to SAVE, now there is nothing.

Even after I type in the URL in the address bar, and open up the required page, I am unable to Add it to my Bookmarks.

All the icons in my Bookmark Toolbar have been working great with no errors for several years, through countless updates with no problem. Then, recently I noticed all the icons lost the color icons and just show as a wire globe. Clicking on them, any one of them, they all go to the same website. If I remove them, got to the website I want there, and drag the URL to the bookmark bar, things are back to normal for that icon. So I replaced each one, and the next day, when I open Firefox, all the icons are again wire globes. It seems that Firefox will not retain the URL for any of the icons.

Very strange.

For about a month I've had to use Chrome because my bookmarks scramble or become unoperatable, then about 4 days ago they started saving again & all bookmarks worked fine. This lasted about 3 days then went back to becoming dead or wrong (may all say 1 or 2) sites I visit. a restart may lose any new bookmarks, & the rest of my bookmarks are either wrong site or dead links. How do I correct? I have tried new downloads & the new Firefox acts just like the messed up version. Probably a simple setting but I give up, can't find the solution. Any help appreciated. You have my permission to change any setting needed to fix Bookmarks. Thanks, James

I use to have at the top of my page a bottom bar that had my most frequent bookmarks..Now it is forever gone and I cannot find out how to get it back.Your new update is crashing my page constantly... I hate it,can I please have my old page back?

Unsure which 'topic' deletion applies to. All of a sudden I am unable to add or delete from my bookmarks and I think I may not be able to delete anything anywhere else either. Why has this occurred, suddenly, and how can I fix it without hiring an IT pro? I have been using Firefox as a browser for over twenty years and this has never happened before. I am using Windows 10 and Firefox 146.0.1. Thanks, James.

I cannot find how to add a New Bookmark to an existing bookmark folder from the screen when I am visiting a Website I wish to Bookmark. Should be simple, but I cannot find out how to do it. There is no simple drop down menu that says ADD BOOKMARK and give you a choice of what folder to save it in. HELP !!!!!!!!
