Firefox will not play any audio-only files. It can play videos with audio just fine, but when using a website that plays an audio file directly, nothing happens.

I’m getting this error for some reason, and I can’t figure it out. I’ve tried downloading various support files for different codecs, yet I still can’t play videos on websites or live videos like YouTube livestreams.
I’ve tried reinstalling the browser, VLC, and updating the media drivers, but it still doesn’t help. The same videos run fine in other browsers like Edge, but for some reason, they won’t play in Firefox.
How can I view video exerts without a major problem?

Speech output for Albanian on the website "loecsen.com" > language course "Albanian". Words cannot be heard under Windows 11. What can I do? I downloaded the Albanian language pack, but the voice isn't there. Is this a Firefox or Windows problem?

Just updated to 144.0.2 (aarch64) on my MacMB Pro running Sequoia 15.7.1 with no other changes and now I can't play any YouTube videos, whether embedded in a website or YT directly. Get eithger a black screen or white, such as below. What arcane setting do I have to mess with now to get this back to normal? (OK in Safari.)
