When using picture in picture on Prime Video, my subtitles aren't showing up in the window, but instead on the original page, despite prime video being one of the original supported websites. Any ideas on how to fix?

I am writing to report an issue I have encountered while using the Firefox browser. Specifically, I am unable to take screenshots on the website https://hescoebill.pk/hesco-mis/. This issue persists despite numerous attempts, and it seems to be unique to this particular website. Is there any other way to take screenshot of site? I really want to take a screenshot for personal reason. Is it not allowed from the site owner side or what?

Others asked and were pointed to extensions. As long as extensions get access to my pages, I'm not willing to use any. So, is there an option in advanced settings, to return to previously viewed tab when I close a tab? Thanks, Cat

When I pause a video (any site) and go to another tab / stay on the site, after a seemingly random amount of time the video starts playing again.

I'm using latest Firefox on Ubuntu 22.04 (snap).

I've tried (didn't work):

• Disabling media hardware controls through about:config
• Disabling autoplay through about:config

Almost every time that I open a new session of Firefox I get a message that there is a problem and it needs a refresh, which removes the extension I use all the time. Any ideas why this keeps happening over and over and what I might to resolve the problem?

In windows 10, unrepeatably, firefox won't open google so I immediately open it in a new tab and it works. This happens randomly so I can't do any tests to find out if it is an extension or hardware acceleration that is the problem.

Hello, I've installed Firefox twice in the last couple of days (Windows 10 - I think) and I continue to receive messages that say I need to install the latest version.

Do you issue updates daily, or is there something wrong with my Firefox installation or is it something else?

The full website link has /users/login, but when I checked the saved passwords, the link stops before the first /, its just websitename.com, instead of wesbsitename.com/users/login, and I suspect the full link not being save is whats causing it not to show up. Is there any way to brute force it to show up?

To open a link of a website in the background tab is CTRL+click, why is it that to open a bookmark of the bookmark toolbar in the background tab is CTRL+shift+click. It is confusing! A bookmark is a link! For comparison, both of them are CTRL + click in chromium. BTW, there is no explanation in advanced configuration preferences.

Firefox works great on every other video site. But Youtube will not show or play video. I have refreshed Firefox, disabled add on. Restarted my computer, tested all hardware. No Bueno...

Lest update to 15.9 all my extensions are now disabled. Missing Lastpass and Surfshark from my menu bar. Doesn't seem to be any way to Enable them from Extensions screen.

I reloaded Lastpass from their site and this is now working on my Menu bar.

Hi, I would like to implement GPO settings for Firefox, and would like to review the list of the policies with description (explanation of what the policy is about and what happens if its enabled or disabled) on a table or excel format. Is there a site or page that will give me that list?

While this is a Privacy and Security setting issue - at least tangentially - my question isn't about security so much as how this data is being stored/retrieved.

I navigated to an entirely new site the other day and it requested a username and password. When the cursor was in the Username field, a set of proposed entries showed up. These were all (recognizable) first names - not emails. When I checked the Privacy and Security settings, I couldn't find any of the names in stored data. While this may be just cached entries for similar fields ("username" or "name" etc...), the list I saw was heavily curated. One of the names I don't ever recall even entering in any name field (and wouldn't have been used for any login) - but even if I had, the list that I saw was far from exhaustive and would only have been a very specific subset of any data I would have entered into any "name" or "username" field.

Is there somewhere I can find how that list was generated?
