want to stop unwanted shortcuts from being placed on my home screen. I have tried settings in Home, and about:config but I cannot stop them. I want ONLY the shortcuts that I choose. When I try to delete them or dismiss from history, either they return immediately or duplicates appear - I do not know which. Please provide a solution to this problem. (I use Linux with Firefox 128.3.0esr)

(Incidentally in the midst of typing this message, I was suddenly transported to a Mozilla advertising page, and lost all my typing. Very annoying!)

So is there any updated answer for the current version of Firefox? Else I will have to downgrade and disable updates for the future. This new version is making it impossible to drag the browser around when it's below a certain width, because it covers the tabs area 100% now. I really need the feature to drag my browser around without maximizing it every time.

Pull-down tabs on websites not working properly on many webpages -- I'm on v131.0 (ARM [M1-MAX]) .

Clicking upon headings, SHOULD present an APPEARING pull-down menu, but the pull-down-menu is fleeting !

As mentioned in the subject, the font style is terrible, forcing me to migrate to another browser as my work is suffering. I tried to find a solution but could not get it.

Hi everyone,

I am experiencing several crashes with no clear reason, I believe it has to do video players but I don't know much more than this. The browser is up to date and it crashes even in troubleshooting mode.

Additionally for a while now it is impossible to watch youtube in anything more than 360p, the option simply doesn't appear

With the last couple of updates to Firefox, I can't successfully log in to FB. I get the error msg "Your Request Couldn't be Processed" three times and then I can access FB, but I am then unable to post any images and am forced to leave FB since it is frozen. The other problem I am having is the open tab with Fox news gives me a crash report if I leave it open without viewing it. Whe I try to use Edge, Chrome, or Brave there is no problems for the same sites.

I have made sure I have the latest version of FF, cleared cache and closed all extensions.

Increasingly, Firefox will not process routine actions, for example like signing in to a website with a password, and I have to use a different browser (Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge) to accomplish the task. There are other routine actions causing problems as well, but the bottom line is Firefox is losing its functionality and it is forcing me to use other browsers. I am sure you don't want to lose users in the browser wars, so maybe you will take this particular concern seriously, and actually respond to me so I know you are actually out there and taking complaints about Firefox browser performance with the appropriate concern and action regarding this issue.

My speeddial Amazon dial keeps sending me to Amazon.ca instead of Amazon.com. I have deleted the dial and entered https://www.amazon.com/ as the url but I get sent instead to Amazon.ca (Amazon Canada) I've tried setting the url using the "use open tab" but that doesn't work. I've restarted Firefox and created a new dial for Amazon but that didn't work. Help/about firefox tells me I'm using the latest version (131.0). My other speeddial dials are working correctly. I'm on Windows 10

I followed the instructions to backup my profile. I rebuilt my system. Now I'm trying to restore. I did the install and tried to bring back the backup profile, it didn't work or even see it. So I deleted the other profile and left the backup one that I put in the same location as instructed. Not only didn't it work, it wouldn't even open. I ran the uninstall and tried to reinstall, as the website said. Now it says it installed but hasn't. It no longer shows up in the programs under control panel and says: "Your Firefox profile cannot be loaded. It may be missing or inaccessible." So now I don't have Firefox at all.

I haven't been able to watch anything via a streaming service on Firefox for at least a month. This includes Netflix, Amazon, and a couple others, though YouTube continues to work just fine. It also doesn't work in Private Browsing, so I don't think it's the fault of my extensions.

• In Netflix, I get the error code F7351
• On Amazon, the error is 7131
• On other sites, error codes sometimes appear and sometimes don't; usually, the video just won't load or loads in perpetuity

My internet connection is fine at home and fwiw, there doesn't seem to be a difference at my friends' house.

I keep getting the following error only when using Firefox as a browser. I have cleared the cache, rebooted, even uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox, also refreshed Firefox . All to no avail, the error continues

Looking in custom option for tool bar menu and they are not there. Normally they would be in the selections of icons to place in the top menu bar. But none of these extension icons are there, and thus far, I have not found them in the extension preferences either. These Icons are necessary to use these extensions. I have no clue what to do. Please Help. Thank you in advance.
