Secure Connection Failed An error occurred during a connection to verifiedlinks.org. SSL received a record that exceeded the maximum permissible length. Error code: SSL_ERROR_RX_RECORD_TOO_LONG The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified.

The connection is that i clicked on what i would call an investment solicitation from an Outlook email i received from Eunice.io

There are a few clickable hot-links in my email that return same error code. They might be gathering a lot of digital data about me but otherwise i believe not 100% but 99% theyre safe THX,,, my email : [email removed]@LiVE.COM P.S. - if i input more than 255 characters in the "Please summarize your question in one sentence box : Please summarize your question in one sentence:" ,,, multiple attempts to correct that wont clear the error msg!!!,,, pass it on : )

Have tried different solutions like Malware product and cleaning cashe and cookies. When I search a known safe site I get redirect by Convertitmas stating the (known safe) site is unsafe. Best regards Henrik Nygaard

Why isn't there a simple means to remove/prevent searches for the address bar, using config doesn't work.

I've used Firefox for over twenty years, this annoyance will end that and force a move to Brave.

I've been searching for three days now for a solution that will work to restore my profile from a crashed windows-7 machine to my new windows-11. Nothing listed in any forum or help desk works as described. I used to be able to just rename the folder to the exact file name on the new PC, but windows 11 won't let me do anything. It always needs admin permissions and even after I activated the admin account and assigned a password, I still cannot copy to the folder or rename the folder. Every attempt to do this on W-11 fails. It shouldn't be that hard and I'm tired of wasting days playing with this. I have important bookmarks, passwords etc. I want restored, and I need help. Nobody wants to pick up a phone anymore to assist!

I have never used "sync" because I have multiple PCs and each used for different applications and yes some go back to W-7, the operating system that actually worked well. Each PC has Firefox and a distinct bookmark file.

I went to "about:profiles" and created a new profile thinking I could copy to the new folder, but when i switched profiles I couldn't get back to the original default! HELP!

'I am running fiefox version 147.0.3 in MacOS version 26.2. Every second time I start the program firefox tries to take 15GB of memory. The process does not respond (as this is equivalent to more than the memory available plus the swap space). I have to kill the process and the second time the program has standar memory needs. How can I help developers?

Normally Firefox sponsor ads on home page occasionally inserts an new ad. I will support some occasional ads by clicking on the new ad to give Firefox 'click credit' then deleting new ad. Today when I delete the new ad another pops up 10-15 times an will not stop. That is too much. I do voluntarily support Firefox with monthly donation.

How do I stop the constantly returning ads?

I had to actually sign up fort a Mozilla account,the multiple hoops I had to jump through were ridicules, in order to ask a question of Firefox. I do not want my address bar to be my search engine. How do I disable the search engine in my address bar? And now I have to wait for an answer!!!!!!!! I used to love and trust Firefox. Not anymore.

There seems to be a glitch that I keep encountering when trying to sign in through my TV provider, particularly Verizon, to watch DisneyNOW or TCM or any other service for that matter. The website known as "ssoauth.verizon.com" seems to keep hanging on the message "Please wait - we are verifying your account," and the sign in never gets completed. I already tried clearing my cache and history but with no result.

Even trying to submit troubleshooting information is causing the form to crash here. If you would like, I can send you a text file containing the log I saved from the browser console.
