'SINCE WINDOWS 10 DID A RECENT UPODATE TO WINDOWS 10 SECURITY UPDATE MY FIREFOX SEARCH BAR GOES BACK TO A CLEAR SEARCH BAR FROM A DARK SCREEN text'

Hello,

the website I log in for internet banking (https://www.sparkasse-rhein-maas.de/de/home.html) is shown as written in brackets when opened in Edge, but as www.sparkasse-rhein-maas.de/de/home.html when I open it in firefor. And Firefox tells me it's not safe when I want to log in.

BUT - as I've only just discovered when I copied and pasted it in here - when copied it shows as https://www.sparkasse-rhein-maas.de/de/home.html, so safe after all? How can that be? I hope there's a good explanation.

As an older person, having to learn and relearn and constantly relearn how my browser functions is becoming more and more aggravating frustrating and put off ish.

Back in the day, these things didnt change automatically, another version was released instead for download with build notes.

It is starting to feel like having a computer and using it is becoming a troll. Im being serious.

One day the tabs are smaller on the left side, the next week the tabs are somehow grouping together and even though I didnt ask for it to happen, nor did I make it happen, its happening!. Now I have a mute button on the tab, even though my computer already 9 different mute buttons.

One day I had my grand daughter over and it took me 45 minutes to realize why there was no audio on netflix for her to watch. These constant feature changes are being a major part of my and everybodys lives. We are all becoming more impatient with these things.

The majority of new features seem to be unused, from my perspective, by the majority of comments I read on here, facebook, x, etc, they are just simply jammed down our collective throats seemingly at the whims of a designer thinking to themselves "I'm going to move this button over here!" This stuff is not making our worlds better. This stuff is not making our lives easier. This stuff is not making our lives simpler.

The effect is the exact opposite. I read a story last month about an autistic teenager that had a cell phone, because everyone else has a cell phone. When they couldn't get their phone to do whatever it was they wanted it do, they threw it in frustration. Turns out they broke a window at school that cost $5000 by throwing the phone. i don't know what app this person was using or attempted to use, and what caused the frustration, but I sure feel that pain sometimes. The parent posted that because the school sent them a bill for the window replacement.

Let me repeat that: The parent received a $5000 invoice for a window their child broke at school, because they were frustrated with phone.

Is there a way to limit the feature changes or stop them while maintaining security updates?

I literally find myself using the internet less and less, and I feel like this has a lot to do with it. As your product becomes more and frustrating to use, I am using it less and less. And I know thats not what anyone wants.

Why can't we have the best of both worlds??

Best Buy Tech support took control of my computer today to get my printer to scan to the computer. After that was done, I went to my FIREFOX hompage only to see it completely changed from the way it was and I am now trying to get it back.

Attached below is a screenshot of my homepage for Firefox desktop (Windows 11). I have uBlock Origin, but it doesn't block anything on the homepage. I have two specific concerns:

• I tried inputting both gmail.com and mail.google.com addresses for the URL of my shortcut, but it always displays a generic icon instead.
• The YouTube icon isn't transparent.

I used the same layout/theme on a previous Windows 11 install and these two problems did not occur at all. What's the possible solution for this?
