Well this problem exists since i first time use firefox (84.0). Problem: Firefox uses 500MB memory with 0 tab, uses more with more tabs This is not a question raised by computer noobs but i am sure that something goes wrong in my computer. I asked my friends and their firefox uses 200MB with 1 tab This is very strange. I would provide all debug information if you need. Updated version of Firefox as recommended. ALL history, bookmarks and downloads are missing! How do I restore to MacBook. I tried steps listed but nothing has worked. Very frustrated

I have owned my Mac Book Pro since 2014 and I inadvertently re-installed Firefox without knowing a new profile would be created. I am not able to load my old profile into the new one. I can see the "old Firefox data" folder and have tried everything Firefox has to fix this but nothing is working. I have lost 6 years of bookmarks!

Anything other tricks to fix this? Thanks!

Although Ask to save logins and passwords for websites is unchecked, I am asked if I want them saved at every site that requires a password. How can I change this? Windows 10, on MSI laptop.

I'm using Firefox 78.0.2 on Windows 10 Pro build 19041.388 Bootcamped on a MacBook Pro. Every time there is a Firefox upgrade available, it downloads but then gives an error message "Update Failed", requiring a manual download and install. What can I do to automate the update installs? Thank you.

Hi! Chrome based browsers (like chromium or Vivaldi) permit to obtain 96KHz or even 192KHz float 32bit audio output. Firefox stuck at float32le 48KHz. This is not sufficient for me. i have a Linux LinuxMint 20 on a STRIX Z270G audio chip @ 96KHz and headsets like Sennheiser HD650 and GRADO RS1e so able to perfectly perceive the effects of harmonics up to frequency my chip can produce (96KHz band pass).

Question: Is possible in Firefox 78 for Linux to change the max frequency from 48KHz to 96KHz maintaining the float32le setup?

So for example, on a website like https://rocketleague.fandom.com/wiki/Decal when i want to save a lot of images at the same time instead of right clicking each one individually what i do is, right click the mouse and select the “View Page Info” option, Click on the Media tab, select all the images i want to save then click save as.

Normally i would be able to save hundreds of images at once as png images so that i could use them, but with the famdom wiki website it is saving every image as an html document and i can't use any of them.

I have gone through all the google suggestions about changing about:config options even downloaded an addon to avoid webp/html images on sites but nothing at all is working, ended up resetting my browser and am still looking for a way to fix this.

I am trying to use ACCOUNTS RECOVERY, I am writing up the steps on paper, I got to STEP 6 : 'enter new password'..... first problem, Am I to generate a totally new password here? 2nd problem, I DO NOT understand at all what STEP 7 is all about? It means nothing to me! Help! Am I missing something? I am English by birth, maybe someone who is also English might help me? Just saying! I have always had excellent service from you all, but this has got me stumped! I guess I must be getting old! Now I have to go back & find the original Q, goodness only knows how I am going to make this all work when I am having problems in the first few steps! I just got a new computer & when I click on the library tab then the show all bookmarks all of my folders are gone in the dialog box that pops up.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi! I've switched to Firefox quite recently and I love pretty much everything about the browser. The only problem I've been experiencing is that whenever I try to print a page the whole browser crashes. I've tried removing all the settings for printing in prefs.js but that didn't seem to help in any way and the crashes don't turn up in the about:crashes tab. Has anyone else been experiencing this and perhaps knows how to fix it?
