I do not want this new feature where a small preview window pops up on the tabs as you hover over them. So where is the feature to turn it off? There isn't one? Why not? I do not want this!

I am trying to re-enable sofascore notifications but in permission panel just seems cookies not notification permissions. I tried to forgot site and delete cookies but it didn't work. How can i solve this?

How can I remove monitor, relay, mozilla vpn from the Account drop down menu. See attached example.

The ONLY reason anyone goes further down this menu is to get to the other tabs on other devices. These things, on especially my super small laptop screen, only get in the way.

Any way to stop showing these in this menu?

Why isn't GoodSearch listed as a default search option? It's available on Chrome and Edge, which are obviously inferior browsers, but they get the search options right. Why can't YOU???????

I would like to have different default search engines for the URL bar and the search bar. For example have a query typed in the URL bar use DuckDuckGo by default. But a query in the search bar use Google by default. I am aware that it's possible to use shortcut strings, use alt+arrows to cycle through the options, or select a different search engine from the icons. I'd like to be able to set them differently without any of that.

I'm a web developer, writing PHP on a Windows server. When there is a server-side error, Firefox doesn't give me any useful information, it just says "There's a problem..." (see picture) Well, yes, I know, I'm the one who did it, but I need to know exactly what the problem is.

NOTE: error handling and detailed error pages are turned ON - this is not a server issue.

FF behaves this way in both normal and private windows.

Chrome/Edge/Chromium show me the full error message, Firefox does not, as you can see in the images. I prefer Firefox's developer tools to Chrome's, but this destroys my productivity as I have to stop, switch browsers, copy/paste the URL, go back...and so on. I'd rather not switch back to Chrome if I don't have to.

Is there a setting in Firefox that will let me see the server's information?

I reinstalled windows 10 and this is my second laptop that microsoft seems to have locked the sound use on any other browser than microsoft edge, sound works perfectly on microsoft edge but will not work on any other browser, has anybody else had this issue, i have contacted Mozilla before but nobody answers. thankyou

I recently updated FF to 128.3.0 ESR and have found that FF no longer appends the suffix to the url I tupe in the url bar. For instance, to go to yahoo.com all I had to do was type yahoo in the url bar and hit enter and FF would automatically add the .com and navigate to the site. This function has ceased to work since the latest update. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

I want to configure a guest account on a ubuntu system. This is done by configuring a standard account and link the guest account to the standard account.

For firefox that means, that the .mozilla directory of the guest account points to the .mozilla-directory of the standard account. (The files in the standard account are not changes, so every new guest session starts with the same preconfigured environment.)

When starting firefox in the guest session, most of the settings, e.g. homepage, installed language packs, coockie settings, are recognized. Strange enough, the language packs have to be enabled again. Somehow firefox in the guest session realizes that firefox is run the first time in the newly created guest account. In my use case, firefox starts up in English because the German language pack is disabled. In the configured standard account the language packs are enabled, active, etc..

With thunderbird the behaviour is different: Copying the .thunderbird (or appdata/roaming/thunderbird-folder in Windows) leads to a completely configured thunderbird. No "first run"-questions or -settings have to be answered.

My questions are: 1) How does firefox realize that is has a "first run" situation? Why is copying the .mozilla-folder not enough for transfering the profile(s)? How can firefox be configured to use the existing .mozilla-directory without asking first run questions? 2) How can firefox in a first run situation (with complete profiles and correct profile.ini) be started with e.g. an enabled German language pack.

Hi - Is there an updated bookmarks tutorial? just uploaded a new firefox version that seems to no longer have the recent bookmarks tab?

I'm older (and not computer savvy) and will admit that i find IE bookmarks convenient, easy to use with folders, one or two clicks, etc........ but firefox bookmarks? seems designed to be more difficult and security notwithstanding has forced me to use other browsers. Or am I just making it harder?

The font for the search results has changed to one that is hard to read. I'd like to change it back, changing the font in settings back to default doesn't seem to change it. The other parts of the search results not circled are fine and unaffected.

I have 2 rows of Shortcuts selected & I can see the "Shortcut Icon or Favicon", however one of them is still showing an old one for a website & I know that the site actually have a new Favicon displayed. Why am I still seeing the old one? Is there a way to refresh my page so I see the new one? Any help greatly appreciated. Cheers, Stan

I want to be able to view inline PDFs in the browser, and download PDFs sent as attachments, without opening them in Firefox. I've searched the forum, tried different combinations of download settings and toggling `browser.download.open_pdf_attachments_inline` but no dice, either Firefox downloads every file (inline or attached), or it opens the local file in the browser.

I respect that the PDF viewer in Firefox is great, and I want to keep using it when I choose. Right now, I have a download progress that pops up, then the browser becomes unresponsive and switches to the new tab, which is disrupting.

Seems simple but how can I have the following behaviour? - Inline PDF -> view in browser - Attachment -> download without opening in browser

my fit to page is NOT a matter of zoom. No matter what size it is some of the page is off the screen. And when I try to type an e-mail there is no space showing what I am typing. The e-mail space will not expand. All this happened when I chose to make Firefox my default. before that there was no problem
